Today's Quote:

"No one will really understand politics until they understand that politicians are not trying to solve our problems. They are trying to solve their own problems -- of which getting elected and re-elected are number one and number two. Whatever is number three is far behind."

Democrat Cannibalistic Munchfest…

…Let The Feeding Begin

Today class we are going to examine the Democrat Tribe. They are a less developed community of human as they become cannibalistic when threatened. Let me explain…

Political failure leads to finger-pointing which then morphs into a sort of twisted political brand of cannibalism. This is especially true for Democrats. It manifested itself rather conspicuously during the Clintonian Infestation and to this point at a lesser degree thus far during the Obama Infestation. We haven’t yet seen a massive “redistribution” of the proverbial deck chairs – but it’s coming.

More than at the White House, Democrats in Congress are more apt to throw each other under that political bus than anywhere else. If a Representative or Senator steps out of the pre-carved political groove you can pretty much assume that their current term will be their last if they have not already entrenched themselves in their seat. We see this already beginning as incumbent Democrats are beginning to face primary challenges in their midterm races. More often than not, moderates are being challenged by the far-left..

What brings about this observation today is a story that appears in The Hill’s online version – Congressional Democrats point finger of blame at Rahm Emanuel. The Hill’s Alexander Bolton points a spotlight on the frustration of Congressional Democrats who are beginning to smell blood in the water. It seems that before the cannibals begin to swarm in on someone, there has to be a transgression committed by the individual that makes them already vulnerable, and that is what is happening to Rhambo.

Rham already took a political hit for his choice of words that drew the firestorm begun by former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. This transgression combined with his intense personal involvement with the Infestation’s failed effort to get national Death Care passed has driven him underground. While he is in political purgatory, those looking to save their own hides are taking aim at Emanuel and will eventually put enough pressure on the Emperor to make a change. If they can shift the focus from their failure and project1 it upon Emanuel thereby lessening the blow to themselves in their re-election efforts, then perhaps they may survive the retribution from the voters for their shameful practice of ignoring their constituents.

Progressives do not believe that Emanuel did enough to swoon impressionable Republicans to the cause. Moderate think that the Infestation and Congressional leadership tried to do too much at one time creating a large opposition and Emanuel was the point man for the Infestation.

In a sense, Emanuel used a “scorched earth” policy on Death Care which left the Democrats and the Emperor without a major victory in the first year of this Congress. It is a well known in national politics that the only productive year of a Congress is the first year. Every House member and 1/3rd of the Senate spend year 2 of the Congress running for re-election so nothing generally gets done. Certainly nothing that would risk re-election prospects. No productive first year means an impotent Congress.

With the impending anti-incumbent political tidal wave set to crash into the Democrat majority in November, entrenched Democrats are no longer in a position of safety. The uber-left see 2009 as the wasted opportunity to achieve a century of planning. They came out of their political holes to put forth the most aggressive push toward socializing the United States since FDR and have failed again. Much worse, they’ve exposed themselves for the world to see.

We’ve already begun to see the re-branding of themselves. First they were progressives until that became a dirty word in America. They switched to liberal until they destroyed that image. They then wanted to re-claim progressive believing it to be a more appealing description of what they are. Now that American again knows what they wish to “progress” toward, they are re-branding themselves as “POPULIST” because they believe it to be more appealing than progressive or liberal. As the old saying goes, you can put lipstick on a pig, but it is still a pig.

In the dust up to the 2010 midterms we will begin to see changes made. Loyalties will be tested and some abandoned. We’ve seen how Democrats treat their own once they are drummed out of the corps. Ask William Jefferson how it was to be abandoned by his Speaker and his Party. Or John Edwards for that matter. And if you need any further evidence of what I have written ask Senator Joe Lieberman. First his Party runs someone else for his seat forcing him to defend it as an Independent. Then because he sided with the Republican candidate for President (albeit a PROGRESSIVE Republican) they threatened to strip him of his Committee Chair. THEN because he opposed the Emperor’s Death Care bill his wife’s job was threatened. Those power hungry Democrats want to feed. They are eager to feed. And nothing will stop them from feeding – on their own.

Like sharks, Congressional Democrats are beginning to hunt for a scapegoat. Emanuel has been identified as the most vulnerable high profile member of the Infestation. Someone who does not face re-election this year and a fitting scapegoat to project their insecurities upon. Let the feeding begin.

Pennsylvania Congressman John Murtha Dead at 77 [UPDATED]

My mother taught me that if I didn’t have anything nice to say, I should not say anything at all. In most cases, I ignore that advice but with the dead I generally do not. That said, I shall remain mute on all of Murtha’s transgressions against the people of the United States – be it his role as the unindicted co-conspirator in the Abscam scandal or his comments about US troops in Iraq. So on those points I’ll remain mute…

What I will say is that he served honorably in Vietnam. After that – he’s been nothing short of a cancer on this country.

[UPDATE 1702] I see that one of my DRONES has taken notice to my little anti-tribute to Murtha. To those linking over from that moron’s page I have a little bit of advice.

The 4 of you should go back over there and take a long hard look around at his page. Remember this is a guy who stares into the sky waiting for the mother ship. If you analyze his site, you will find that there is no original content on it. He spends his time trolling Conservative blogs and writing vitriolic hit pieces on the authors of those sites. What do you do when you don’t have an argument? You attack. Food for thought.

The Decline of the Religion of Global Warming

- So Sad But SO Predictable -

For nearly 3 years, the die hards of the Church of Global Warming Climate Change of Modern Day Idiots have been attempting to push the idea that the science proving man is the cause of global warming climate change (in their words) “is settled”. They nearly succeeded until…

Last November, and continuing as I write, evidence questioning the methods and practices of the so-called “scientists” behind this planetary hoax began to flood in. First it was the emails in excess of 60 MB that showed that the “scientists” conspired to discredit evidence contrary to their boondoggle, avoid peer-review of contradictory studies, and hide data from Freedom of Information Act (UK) requests. Ever since, we’ve been treated to evidence supporting theories that changes in global ocean currents and sunspot activity have a more direct impact on climate change than man’s measly 3% contribution to atmospheric CO2. The latest, however, is nearly the most damning: the IPCC’s use of an article from a magazine as evidence that Himalayan glaciers were melting and would all but disappear by 2035. As we all know now, that wasn’t based on any scientific study at all, but merely the speculation of another so-called “climate scientist” for an article published in the mountain climbers version of Runner’s World.

This past week, the findings of the Penn State internal investigation of Professor Michael Mann’s methods in developing the now discredited “hockey stick graph” (which supposedly proved man’s CO2 contributions were causing global warming) turn up no evidence of wrong doing. Wait a minute! No evidence of wrongdoing?!? The guy selectively counted tree rings in the development of his theoretical “graph”. That’s akin to reading tea leaves, relying on a rodent to tell you if winter is ending, and analyzing the bands on woolly bear caterpillars to predict the severity of an upcoming winter. I didn’t know reliance on folklore was considered “scientific” these days. What’s next? Tarot Cards? Ouija Boards? What gets me is the willingness of those who believe this tripe to accept these faith based predictions but yet these are the same people who reject GOD and religion as superstition.

All this aside, today I read an article in the London Times (online version) titled, “I thought of killing myself, says climate scandal professor Phil Jones”. In the event you’ve been living under a rock and do not know who Phil Jones is, he’s the egghead in charge of the East Anglia University Climate Research Unit – you know, the source of all those damning emails. He told the Times that he thought of killing himself over the controversy. Remember, the IPCC relied heavily on the findings of the East Anglia CRU in determining their findings. They also relied on data from the WWF which was word for word from the above mentioned magazine concerning the impending fate of the Himalayan glaciers (the article that originated from a mountain climbing magazine – not any scientific study or journal).

For years, the WWF, High Priest Al Gore, and others have been pushing the idea that arctic sea ice has been decreasing and as a result, polar bears are in danger of extinction because their hunting grounds are disappearing. We now know that arctic sea ice is NOT decreasing. Summer sea ice has actually expanded by 409,000 square miles AND polar bear populations have actually increased since 1979. Will Noah Wiley now please SHUT UP ?!? (I’m personally a little sick of his propaganda based panhandling)

The world has begun to pass legislation imposing financial penalties onto businesses, and in some cases individuals, which violate arbitrary CO2 limits based on the findings of the IPCC report which anyone can now realize is a hugely flawed document. The science is NOT settled and it isn’t even close to being settled. Before the nations of the world begin to craft legislation which destroys the global economy, the controversy should be truly settled and fully understood. Not some half-assed guessing and slapping together of arbitrary numbers that make up limits, percentages, etc. without regard to cost. These people making these chicken little predictions about the world’s climate are the same morons who attempt to predict our weather. They can’t be accurate 5 days in the future, but you are willing to take their word about 100-year predictions?!? If you do, you are an imbecile; a non-thinking sheep of a person willing to buy whatever bill of goods presented to you and unwilling to listen to reason.

Before we have a massive shift in our sources of energy that are inefficient, unreliable, and massively expensive, we should make absolutely certain of the evidence that man is in fact causing climate change. As long as there is one skeptic, the science cannot be deemed as “settled”. Claiming so only proves that it isn’t.

We’ve already allowed them to ban incandescent light bulbs based on this hoax and the US was on the verge of passing a massively destructive Cap and Tax bill. Obama was willing to sacrifice US sovereignty and sign on to a global agreement in Copenhagen that would permit the building of a global governmental authority with the power to tax nations who violate the arbitrary CO2 emissions standards of the agreement. He was willing to become subservient to an agreement as the world’s worst polluters remain unbound by the same agreement. This is unacceptable.

As we’ve seen this week, winter has made its presence known again with more than 2 feet of snow in the nation’s capital (a record if you are keeping score over there at East Anglia University). This wasn’t supposed to happen, but it did. With all this evidence to the contrary, how can ANYONE still believe the science is “settled”?!? Those making money by blaming man still say it’s “settled,” but poll numbers show that the people do not. THIS is the decline of the Church of Global Warming Climate Change of Modern Day Idiots. It’s about time.

Climate Shocker – 6 More Weeks Of Winter! (I could have made book on that)

February 2, 2010 News, Opinion, Stupidity, The Fiction of Global Warming Comments Off

Dateline Punxsutawney, PA – PUNXSUTAWNEY PHIL SEES HIS SHADOW – GORE ON SUICIDE WATCH! Film at 11…

Last year I made it a point to illustrate the stupidity of rodent prognostications when it comes to the length of the winter season. I know, it’s tradition. But anyone with a wall calender and the ability to count will tell you whether Phil saw his shadow or not, there are 6 1/2 more weeks of winter. This time interval is the same every year but every year there are thousands of morons who trek down to Gobbler’s Knob in Punxsutawney, PA at 3am in order to have a good place from which to see a bunch of over-dressed faux officials drag the poor woodchuck (Phil is actually a North American Woodchuck) from his slumber at 7:30am in order to guess whether or not he sees his shadow. The nation is on pins and needles waiting to hear the news – news that is the same every year incidentally -of whether the calender is correct. Never mind the astrophysics involved, hell, that’s just a bunch of witchcraft anyway. Isn’t it? We’ll go with the tailless beaver instead.

As for Al Gore…

Any truncation in the length of winter would bolster his chicken little predictions. And since Phil confirmed that the spring equinox isn’t due for 6 1/2 more weeks, Tipper should keep the Goracle away from sharp objects for the foreseeable future.

Ineptitude – The Obama Legacy

The Imperial mouthpieces sent out among the jackals of the Sunday talk shows, seem to have neglected to convene a little meeting prior to their appearances in order to coordinate the official lie. Normally they would probably not worry about such a meeting because the differing subject matter they would normally be discussing during their various appearances would be dealing with seemingly unrelated topics. However the Emperor has been sending forth his non-thinking minions to the Infestation’s official propaganda corps to bend the truth (see also: spin) about the same thing – the success of the American Robbery and Redistribution Act of 2009 (aka: The Porkulus).

The Emperor and his minions can’t seem to get together and decide how many jobs the Redistribution Act has “created or saved”. The Emperor’s moronic mouthpieces have brought forth three different numbers on three different talk shows on the same day; followed just three days later by the Emperor himself lying to a joint session of Congress spewing forth a completely different number. In my opinion, if they truly think the American people are buying their lies they are all fugitives from the booby hatch.

No one is being fooled. With that in mind, one must ask the question “why is it they continue with the charade?”

The answer is simple.

In the 1962 version of ‘The Manchurian Candidate’ Senator Iselin (James Gregory), after barking off various numbers of “card-carrying communists in the defense department” before the press, is attempting to get his wife (Angela Lansbury) to give him one simple number that he can remember so that he doesn’t look like a fool. A small argument ensues and Mrs. Iselin mentions that people aren’t asking “IF” there are any communists in the defense department, they are asking “HOW MANY” communists are in the defense department. In this example we see a perfect text-book case of smoke and mirrors played out before us in a fictional story. When you have no evidence of your position, arrange the argument so that certain aspects of your unproven position are assumed to be factual. In this way you avoid the conflict of proving your case.

Obama and his Infestation cannot prove a single job was either “saved or created”. So they get the public to focus on a number instead of arguing about whether or not the program was even successful at all.

The problem with Obama is that the public is developing a picture of his Infestation as a brood of ineptitude. No one seems to know what is going on including the Emperor. The Obama Infestation looks to the casual observer to be a rudderless ship aimlessly drifting as Obama and his crew focus on meaningless legislation that has no hope of achieving any of its goals. Legislation I might add that has no hope of passing on its merits.

As the private sector continues to lose jobs, the federal government is growing at a rate that no steroid can achieve. Steady injections of Obama-ism and its deficit spending is causing that pig to fatten up as the only jobs being “created or saved” are government sector jobs.

The mouthpieces all brag about “saving” teachers’ jobs or police jobs as if every single teacher and cop would have been pink slipped if the Redistribution Act hadn’t passed. Even if we were to assume they would have been, what is going to happen once the Redistribution Act grant money is exhausted? Will we see Redistribution Act II?!? Apparently as the Emperor has proposed another stimulus “jobs bill”.

Government cannot create or save anything. Government is the reason why the private sector is losing jobs. Over-regulation and mandates from the government make doing business in the United States an increasingly expensive operation. The Infestation pinheads cannot fathom the idea that those whom they have been demonizing for years are the very people who create jobs for us underlings. By taxing them into bankruptcy, the government is destroying job opportunities for the very class of people they give the illusion of working for. All we need now is another stimulus “jobs bill” to drive up the national unemployment numbers another 5% like the first one did.

With each new government spending fix, the economy gets worse. If our economy continues to tank, how is it we will ever make a dent in that nearly $13 Trillion national debt? Short answer: We Can’t!

Scenario: You just lost your job, you can’t pay your bills, now what do you do? Do you go to the bank and say, “hey, I need to borrow $1.9 Trillion to pay my bills?”

You’d be laughed out of the office. Why then do we continue to allow our government to spend beyond its means?

This President and his administration are nothing but a bunch of bumbling idiots. The legacy of the Obama Infestation I predict will be worse than the Carter Infestation. Compared to both of them, that total idiot Clinton looks brilliant.

Let’s all make a pact. The entire voting public of this nation must agree, NO MORE POLITICIANS WITH DOCTORATES. They may be book smart, but they are completely clueless in the real world. And that makes them dangerous.

If You Think High Unemployment Is Bush’s Fault – Take A Look Here!

First and Foremost: Pay Attention To The Dates and Rates

The Decline: The Geography of a Recession

By: Latoya Egwuekwe

Source: Bureau of Labor Statistics, Local Labor Statistics

Note: Map displays unemployment data as initially published by the Bureau. It represents the unemployment rate by county and is a 12-month average. The national average and U6 rates are not reflected.

Remember, if we didn’t pass the stimulus package unemployment was likely to go above 8%. It is currently sitting at 10% (national average) with many states well above 10%. In January 2009 when Obama pushed through the stimulus, unemployment was at 5.6% (national average). I don’t know about you, but it seems that Mr. Obama is wholly responsible for the current rate of unemployment.

Before I go, I must also remind you that there is a number not factored into this graphic – Under-employment. The current unemployment/under-employment rate is nearing 18%. This is the gift of that all knowing and benevolent Emperor of ‘Hope’ and ‘Change’. How much ‘hope’ do you have now America? How do you like the Emperor’s ‘change’?

Personally I think it stinks.

Obama’s Promise to Make Pigs Fly

This week, the President and his Infestation began to speak of a second stimulus “jobs bill”. They’ve been instructed to not use the word stimulus but to use “jobs bill” instead according to an Infestation official in a television interview. If you are thinking, “yeah, it’s about time the Infestation addresses the space station level unemployment/under-employment numbers,” perhaps you need to take a few minutes and think about where the government gets all this money they are doling out.

First and foremost, the government doesn’t have any money. To insist that the government is using government money to fund something is ignorant to that fact. The government gets the money it wastes from “We The People” through the over-taxation of the employed. Government doesn’t create anything or provide a marketable skill for which it is compensated. Government is nothing more than a clearing house for pilfered money.

If you then think about the efficiency with with the federal government operates you must come to the conclusion that the feds manage money like a crack addict. For example – welfare programs. The government does not spend 100% of every dollar designated for helping the poor on the poor. It only spends about $.70 on the dollar. The other $.30 pays for the bureaucracy the government has in place to “redistribute” the nation’s wealth. Seeings how the government can only achieve D worthy work in this area, does it make sense to give them more money to waste? I mean a 70% success rate any student will tell you is almost failing.

As more and more people are forced onto the government dole due to the mismanagement of the economy by the President, his Infestation, and the pinheads in the majority in both houses of Congress, that system of “redistributing” what’s left of the nation’s wealth will only get less efficient. But then again, that is what Obama learned from his study of Cloward-Piven.

Remember their strategy was to overwhelm the system in order to create a crisis for which the only answer would be to implement draconian solutions such as socialism. That is why it is called the Cloward-Piven Strategy for Socialist Revolution. And Obama studied it.

His calls for a second stimulus “jobs bill” are just another phase in his plan to “fundamentally transform America”. He’s going to “transform” us from a nation of free peoples seeking for our own niche in society from which we can prosper into a society enslaved by an ever present, all knowing, all seeing, and all intrusive government which tells us what we will do as an occupation and how much wealth we can accumulate. Something tells me that Obama was cheering for “Big Brother” in George Orwell’s ‘1984′.

He boldly touts the “success” of his first stimulus package citing a phantom 2 million “created or saved” jobs. But where were they? Who knows? The Infestation sure doesn’t. Their own website recovery.gov lists allegedly “created or saved” jobs in Congressional districts that do not exist in zip codes that don’t exist either. If there is no such location, how then can there be a job “created or saved” there?

When Obama pushed for his stimulus package, he promised that without it unemployment “may go as high as 8%”. Here we are sitting at 10% unemployment (with many states way above 10%) after his stimulus package passed. If the President was right when he warned us it would go to 8% without his stimulus, had Congress not acted would unemployment have gotten this high? Many believe not. Many believe (and count me among them) that the President’s stimulus program made economic conditions worse.

And while we are talking about these lofty unemployment numbers, let us not lose sight of the fact that the number of unemployed/under-employed in this country is in excess of 17%. That’s 17% of our nation’s population either not working or working for a wage that is insufficient to pay the monthly bills. That is a crime.

Quoting Lewis Carroll –

“The time has come,” the Walrus said,
“To talk of many things:
Of shoes–and ships–and sealing-wax–
Of cabbages–and kings–
And why the sea is boiling hot–
And whether pigs have wings.”

The truth of the matter is that for all the President’s talk about rescuing this nation’s economy nothing could be further from his mind. He is not interested in rescuing this economy as-a-matter-of-fact he intends on damaging it further in his effort to bring about the dream of Cloward and Piven. Like the oysters in Lewis Carroll’s poem, America is being led to the feast.

“A loaf of bread,” the Walrus said,
“Is what we chiefly need:
Pepper and vinegar besides
Are very good indeed–
Now if you’re ready, Oysters dear,
We can begin to feed.”

“But not on us!” the Oysters cried,
Turning a little blue.
“After such kindness, that would be
A dismal thing to do!”
“The night is fine,” the Walrus said.
“Do you admire the view?

“It was so kind of you to come!
And you are very nice!”
The Carpenter said nothing but
“Cut us another slice:
I wish you were not quite so deaf–
I’ve had to ask you twice!”

“It seems a shame,” the Walrus said,
“To play them such a trick,
After we’ve brought them out so far,
And made them trot so quick!”
The Carpenter said nothing but
“The butter’s spread too thick!”

“I weep for you,” the Walrus said:
“I deeply sympathize.”
With sobs and tears he sorted out
Those of the largest size,
Holding his pocket-handkerchief
Before his streaming eyes.

“O Oysters,” said the Carpenter,
“You’ve had a pleasant run!
Shall we be trotting home again?’
But answer came there none–
And this was scarcely odd, because
They’d eaten every one. 1

And we, my fellow peasants of the United Socialist States of Amerika, are the main course. That is once Obama achieves his goals.

If you believe that Obama is going to rescue this economy then be prepared for a shock. Because that promise my friend stinks of pigs aloft.

Before I close I’ll remind you of a very simple truth that I’ve written many many times before…

You cannot legislate universal health, but you can legislate universal sickness;
You cannot legislate universal prosperity; but you can legislate universal poverty;
You cannot legislate universal happiness; but you can legislate universal dispair.

And Obama is attempting to legislate all the above.

Rep. Jim Jordan Responds To SOTU

Rep. Jim Jordan (R OH-4) has issued a statement in response to President Barack Obama’s State of the Union (aka: Democrat pep talk).

For the past year, President Obama and Speaker Pelosi have led the nation on a reckless course of uncontrolled spending and a massive new government expansion into the private businesses and personal lives of Americans.

These big-government policies, from the $787 billion stimulus bill that failed to create jobs, to the budgets and bailouts that are creating an insurmountable debt for our children and grandchildren, have been disastrous to our economy.

Tonight, the President said he wants to increase federal spending even more, then “freeze” spending at an ultra-high level. Continuing this irresponsible level of spending will further put this country on a collision course with disaster.

Last week, the voters of Massachusetts sent a clear message to Washington – stop the big spending. The President heard the same message when he visited with job-creators in Ohio last week – big spending doesn’t create jobs.

I have supported the concept of a freeze, but the baseline number must be much lower. If the President is willing to freeze non-security spending at the levels from when he took office last year – before the stimulus, before the other big increases – then you will find Republicans ready to work with him.

If the administration is serious about fiscal responsibility, then let’s get to work – but it’s going to take more than budget gimmicks and bloated baselines to get our economy moving again.

The only reason why Obama is proposing a freeze on spending now is to insure that Republicans don’t lower spending on the designated programs for the remainder of his Infestation. The numbers being thrown around concerning budget savings generated by the proposed freeze are insignificant in relation to the over-all budget. It is my feeling that this proposal by Obama is disingenuous. He only wants to insure that the political payoffs that he was able to forced through Congress while his Party had the 60-vote super majority remain in place.

Last week I was watching an interview on Fox News that involved Bob Beckel (Democrat Strategist) and a Conservative (who I don’t recall). Beckel was attempting to make a point that allowing the Bush tax cuts to expire is “just allowing them to return to Clinton era levels”. Fine Bob. How about we first cut spending back to Clinton era levels before we mess with tax rates. Then if the country is still running a budget deficit, we can discuss tax increases. Because raising taxes will do nothing to cut the deficit as long as Congress continues to spend money.

Oh, and before the Clintonian Koolaid Kids claim that I’m endorsing Clinton era policies remember 1 thing. A Republican Congress passed the budget that ran a surplus. More over, it was a Republican who wrote the bill – John Kasich who happens to be running for Governor of Ohio.

Populism’s Ability To Destroy What It Makes

Populism is an extremely volatile quasi-political ideology. It is forever changing with the tide of public opinion. It is both a blessing and a curse within this nation. Allow me to explain…

It is a blessing in that those who are elected largely on populist support tend to pay attention to the ebb and flow of public opinion and formulate policy based on those changes. In this way, the general public is the check on populist politicians. But then there is the curse for those who fail to live up to their populist campaigning. For instance…

In 2008, Barack Obama rode a tide of populism to victory in November to be come the 44th President of the United States. Popular public opinion was against the status quo which translated into an anti-Republican movement in spite of the fact that the 2008 Presidential election was being decided between two Progressive politicians. Let me make this perfectly clear. The 2008 Presidential election pitted 2 candidates who represent the same political ideology (admittedly at two distinct and differing degrees) against each other for popular vote. Because one of them claims Republican membership, he lost in spite of the fact that he gave more detailed information about how he would govern. The other, kept the details of his potential “rule” a closely guarded secret by showering the public with vague messages clouded in populist rhetoric.

Focus tested rhetoric was employed to swing voters in spite of the lack of details about the candidate. Words like “Change” and “Hope” were employed in an effort to rally the populist vote toward the more extreme Progressive. And it worked.

Without defining what would be “changed”, from what to what, Barack Hussein Obama hoodwinked the populist voters. Once in office, his radical Progressive nature came forward, shedding its Democrat facade, clearly defining him for what he truly is. A Socialist almost to the Fabian extreme.

I say that because he employed, as do all well groomed Progressives, Fabian methodology. It is the Fabian way to corrupt from within. To grow like a cancer from within the political organization most likely to elevate them to power. Barack Obama did so from within the Democrat Party. John McCain wasn’t as successful because most Conservative Republicans know him for what he is.

Now that he’s out from behind the proverbial curtain, we can all see for ourselves what kind of monster the populists of this nation elected. There he is folks, warts and all, in the open for all to see. A Socialist tearing the heart out of this wonderful nation.

Obama is from a mixed school of radicalism. He studied Marx, Alinsky, Cloward-Piven, and mentored under Frank Marshall Davis. He understands the violent radicalism of the Weather Underground, the Black Panthers, and the Nation of Islam. And now it is time to put that mixed radical knowledge into practice while he has enough power to achieve the long awaited goals of the Progressive movement.

He understands that he has a limited time to “fundamentally transform America” into the Utopia that only can grow out of the anchovy pizza induced night terror that George Orwell warned us of in his novels ‘Animal Farm’ and ‘1984′. He fully understands that he and his Congressional stooges need to slip through their “reforms” so fast that you do not have the opportunity to understand what is in them. This is to protect the process and accomplish as much as possible before you catch on. Problem – you caught on.

Populism is shifting and the wave that he rode to victory is now an undertow threatening to drown the neophyte President in a sea of his own broken promises. Populist America now sees the radical they’ve elected and even the previously compliant main stream media is beginning to turn on him.

Chris “Thrill Up My Leg” Matthews (MSNBC) is shifting as is Maureen Dowd (NYT) and others. His supporters and underlings are beginning to catch more difficult questioning out of news agencies that were previously sympathetic to his cause. Some think that he’s gone too far to the left while others believe that he hasn’t gone far enough.

The populist uprising against the radical attempt by this President and this Congress to “fundamentally transform America” occurred when the American people were thinking the President meant a transformation in politics but were met with a President and a Congress working toward a radical “transformation” of socio-economics. That’s not what The People voted for.

They couldn’t get Cap and Trade in the time frame they wanted so it was shelved. They couldn’t get Obamacare in the time frame that they wanted and the people asked questions. When the powers that be refused to answer those questions, Democrats lost Virginia, and New Jersey. When they continued to ignore the American people they lost Massachusetts.

The danger here is in the formation of both domestic and foreign policy based on populism. A President needs to form his/her policy before going to the American people and asking for their vote. If the people believe that his/her policy is in the best interest of the Republic, then he (or she) will attain the necessary votes to win. A voter will vote for someone going against the populist grain if they believe that he/she is doing so in the best interest of the nation.

Barack Obama’s problem is that he ran as a populist and is “ruling” as a radical Progressive. Had he ran as a radical Progressive, he would not have won. The people do not like being played for suckers and that is the feeling the people have about Barack Obama. Why else would Democrat voters vote for Republicans?

Lack of a formal education does not necessarily mean that an individual lacks intelligence. One of the most brilliant US Presidents was completely self taught. Abraham Lincoln not only taught himself to read, write, and factor numbers, he taught himself law.

Lincoln became a successful attorney before he tested the waters of American politics. He next engaged one of this nation’s most gifted orators in a series of debates which led to Lincoln’s rise in American politics. One could argue that the debates with Stephen Douglas showcased Lincoln’s true genius. He not only understood what to communicate to his audience, but how to communicate it.

The left-wing main stream media and the political left have been touting the brilliance of Barack Obama since he was a little known state senator in Illinois. But over the past year we – the electorate – have come to know that Obama’s brilliance as an orator is limited to his ability to read prepared remarks from a teleprompter. If all it took to be labeled as brilliant was an ability to read from a prompter, any high school graduate should be labeled brilliant. But they aren’t. And neither is he.

We have seen, on just a few occasions, Obama’s communications skills devolve into almost unrecognizable gibberish. On those very few occasions where he has left his prepared script – or if he allows questions for which he hasn’t prepared answers – he suffers from Biden like gaffs. The now famous Cambridge Police comment for example.

When drifting off script, Obama drops more ah’s and um’s than a pimple-faced 14-year old boy asking out his first date. This is an indicator of his attempts at qualifying his remarks. His need to qualify is 2-fold. First he needs to cater his message to his desired audience always showing himself in an almost messianic light. Secondly, he needs to formulate the official line, sounding authoritative, without revealing his entire agenda. Because as we all know if he reveals too much he won’t be able to get it passed the people. This is his flaw.

If you haven’t noticed, he has limited himself to only one-on-one interviews passing up every opportunity to answer questions from the press pool. He’s done this since his gaff about the Cambridge Police in July. He selects only Infestation friendly “news organizations” which, I suspect, submit questions in advance so that Obama’s answers can be carefully prepared and loaded into his trusty teleprompter prior to taping the interview. Some gifted orator.

George W. Bush by contrast was a better communicator when he ditched his prepared remarks and spoke directly to the American people. But ask yourself – Why?

Bush like Lincoln knew how to communicate with his audience. Unlike Obama who has an incessant need to speak as if he swallowed the Oxford New American Dictionary, he wasn’t comfortable reading off a prompter. He was better at delivering his message in a plain ordinary way. Speak directly to the people in language they all can understand. But the intelligentsia mocked and ridiculed Bush for his manner of speech and billed him as an idiot because of the way he said “nuclear”.

Obama they tout as brilliant in spite of the fact that his 1st year in office is an overwhelming failure. Bush may have been lacking in rhetorical refinement but at least his Administration was able to keep this nation from being attacked on its own soil for the remainder of his Presidency. In Obama’s 1st year, we have been attacked 3 times. Bush staved off 2 recessions and kept the nation working at the beginning of a 3rd. Too bad Obama couldn’t even accomplish keeping us working.

On inauguration day last year unemployment was around 6.2% – the highest of the Bush years incidentally- today it sits at 10.0% in spite of the passage of the Obama Porkulus package that was meant to keep unemployment below 8%. On inauguration day last year the national debt was at $10.6 Trillion. Today it is approaching $12.3 Trillion. During the Bush years the national debt increased an average of $600 Billion per year. In just the first year of the Obama Infestation the national debt rose $1.7 Trillion and the Senate is poised to raise the debt ceiling another $1.9 Trillion. All this spending and no jobs. Nearly 7 million jobs have been lost just since Obama took office. He can claim that he saved 2 million jobs (a stat that cannot be confirmed in any way) but the fact remains a net loss of 7 million jobs has occurred.

What’s Obama’s answer for the worsening of the economy? It’s Bush’s fault.

Aren’t you kind of getting tired of that answer? When can this President take responsibility for his own failure? I won’t hold my breath waiting for a truthful answer to that question.

The old question in politics seems to apply. “Are you better off than you were 4 years ago?” Framed that way I’d have to say – “NO!” But ask yourself, “Are you better off than you were 13 months ago?” The answer again is, “NO!”

Apparently Obama hasn’t gotten the memo from the American People. It was delivered in Virginia and New Jersey in November and in Massachusetts on the 19th of January. But he still isn’t listening. His answer to his failures? Double down on his agenda.

A headline on the Drudge Report yesterday read, “Would ‘Rather Be Really Good One-Term President’…”. Somehow I don’t think there is any danger of that happening. He’ll be a one-termer alright. But being known as good… Put it this way, how does history remember Jimmy Carter?

My point about formal education is simple. George W. Bush graduated from Yale and with the exception of his use of rhetoric, Obama appears to be less intelligent than Bush. Comparing himself with the self-taught/self-made and brilliant Abraham Lincoln is not only inaccurate, but bordering on criminal. Obama may have graduated from Columbia and Harvard Law, but the only thing he has in common with Lincoln is their adopted home state.

Ineptitude – The Obama Legacy
