On to New Hampshire – Huck’s Cards Have All Been Played, So What’s Next?
The morning after the night before as the song goes, Mike Huckabee enjoyed a major victory in the Iowa Caucuses. Now you all know that my opinion on the significance of Iowa isn’t favorable but credit is due to the Huckster for rallying the Evangelical vote in the Hawkeye State. But, and this is a major but, Mike can’t pull that trick again. Not in New Hampshire anyway.
Huck is ignorant on matters of foreign policy and he admits that. But does that matter to the Bible Thumpers in Iowa? Nah… They are only interested in getting a Theocratic moron the Nomination so that Democrats can with in November. Huck backs impotent policies to deal with illegal immigration, does THAT hit a nerve with Evangelicals? NO, they are more interested in handing the nomination to a status quo type who would allow this nation to continue to be invaded by Mexico if he should be granted the privilege of holding the most important office in the world. Huck sees the nation as a playground where he can implement his nanny state policies on a grand scale. He personally beat tobacco so he will force you to as well by taxing tobacco into an extinct cash crop in the United States. He personally lost a tremendous amount of weight and he will force you to get into shape by taxing what some consider junk foods out of the price range of most Americans. Huck, like a ravenous liberal, is looking to set policy by taxation. He raised taxes on Arkansans by 41% during his tenure in Little Rock.
Nanny state politics and high tax rates, that’s not Conservatism. Make no mistake.
Hucks cards have been played. The only way he can win is if Evangelicals show up in mass. Like Tancredo and Hunter, he’s a one trick pony. Problem is, his audience gets bored easily.
Lastly, let us not forget Susan Estrich’s comments on Huckabee, she and the rest of the far left see Huck as a vulnerable target for a General Election opponent. She is predicting herself dancing at another inaugural, Only if she plans on eating crow first and changes parties.

I am trying to find out where the republican candidates stand on the abortion and euthanasiaa issue. That is my foremost concern. If a person doesn’t respect human life, then he, or she do not respect you, or I either, and therefore they do not deserve to be elected to serve us.Where can I find this information. It seems that the IRS has muzzeled the clergy on this very important issue, by threatening their taxfree ixempt status, and perhaps more. Can you email this information to me, please?Thank you very much!

Virginia,
I agree with your position on right to life issues. As a practicing Roman Catholic, these issues are extremely important to me. That said, I have a source for information on every possible candidate in any election that explains past statements on issues and past voting record on those who have a record. That site is called, On The Issues. http://www.issues2000.org/default.htm
Note:
I responded to Virginia via email as requested and explained the Comment Policy to her. I’m allowing this comment to stand because she wasn’t exactly making a comment per se, she was requesting information from me. I am flattered that she felt that I could help her find the information that she needs. Therefore I will let this stand with my answer to her.
On The Issues gives all the information that a politically involved American needs to support the candidate which best fits their political views. This is important.
Thanks Virginia
