The United States Congress has recently passed legislation masked as an “energy” bill designed to implement policies advocated by the biggest liberal on the planet, High Priest Al Gore of the Church of Global Warming of Modern Day Idiots (MDI). In that legislation, Congress mandates the complete ban of incandescent light bulbs by 2014. So what is our alternative? Compact Florescent Light Bulbs (CFL). One problem however, CFL’s contain mercury.
UK health officials are warning to evacuate any room for a minimum of 15 minutes in the event a CFL breaks.
From WND:
Health experts warned this week that people with certain skin ailments will suffer from the new eco-friendly bulbs which cause conditions such as eczema to flare up. Additionally, the bulbs have been linked to migraine headaches in some people.
The Environment Agency’s latest advice focuses on the 6 to 8 milligrams of toxic mercury in each bulb.
Users who break a bulb should vacate the room for at least 15 minutes, the new guidelines say. The debris should not be removed with a vacuum cleaner, which could put toxic dust into the air, but with rubber gloves. The broken glass and all residue is to be placed into a sealed plastic bag and taken to a local official recycling site for proper disposal.
The theory that man is responsible for global climate change is a loose one that is being torn apart more and more on a daily basis. These bulbs supposedly will save an estimated 5 million tons of CO2 from entering our atmosphere annually. But what they aren’t telling you is that man is responsible for releasing an estimated 6 billion metric tons annually and that makes man responsible for a little over 3% of the CO2 being released. So where does the rest come from? Decaying land plants and animals and decaying ocean plants and animals are responsible for about 90 billion metric tons; and the oceans themselves are responsible for the remaining 90 billion metric tons.
Another interesting statistic that those who advocated and passed this legislation aren’t telling you is that the most abundant greenhouse gas in our atmosphere is water vapor. So since the world’s oceans are contributing more than their “fair share” of greenhouse gases to our atmosphere, do these pinheads then suggest we should drain them? No… of course not. That would be ridiculous. Then so is eliminating incandescent light bulbs.
I for one am one of those who suffers from migraine headaches when I spend any amount of time exposed to florescent light. So I and many millions of other people in this nation are supposed to suffer with constant headaches so that Al Gore and the MDI can feel better about themselves.
Here’s the truth people and it is time you all get it through your thick skulls. Man is not responsible for the alleged rise in global temperatures. I say alleged because the manner in which global temperature monitoring is done has been called into question. The truth is that the sun itself is responsible. How do you think that the oceans can create 90 billion metric tons of CO2 in our atmosphere? UV radiation from the sun breaks down the water molecules in the earth’s oceans, lakes, rivers, and streams creating water vapor. The microscopic organisms are killed off and that is creating… guess what? That’s right CO2.
So half the world’s CO2 emissions and most of the water vapor in our atmosphere can be attributed to the sun. Then why would High Priest Al Gore and the MDI be so insistant that these expensive “solutions” to man made global warming be implemented? Because unlike the commercial, people are stupid and gullible. We’ll buy anything presented to us by anyone who can claim to be an expert.
Gore claimed in his propaganda Power Point presentation masquerading as a documentary film that there was a “consensus” in the scientific community about global warming and man’s contribution. That so-called “consensus” turns out to have been a fantasy of Gore and his minions.
Hundreds of scientists who are listed in the IPCC Report on global climate change are now saying that they don’t agree with the findings and want their names removed from the report. A recent Senate Committee report confirms this.
Over 400 prominent scientists from more than two dozen countries recently voiced significant objections to major aspects of the so-called “consensus” on man-made global warming. These scientists, many of whom are current and former participants in the UN IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), criticized the climate claims made by the UN IPCC and former Vice President Al Gore. SOURCE
My plan to combat these morons is to stock up on incandescent light bulbs in preparation for the ban. The other thing that can be done is to promote candidates for public office who don’t buy into the fiction perpetuated by Al Gore and the MDI. Candidates who, if elected, would repeal the provisions in this sham of an energy bill.
