Anchor Babies or No Anchor Babies? Huckster’s Conflicting Reports

First there was the Washington Times article that claimed that he supported a Constitutional Amendment banning birth right citizenship and then he issued a statement saying that wasn’t true, which is it Huckster?

From the Washington Times:

Mike Huckabee wants to amend the Constitution to prevent children born in the U.S. to illegal aliens from automatically becoming American citizens, according to his top immigration surrogate — a radical step no other major presidential candidate has embraced.

Mr. Huckabee, who won last week’s Republican Iowa caucuses, promised Minuteman Project founder James Gilchrist that he would force a test case to the Supreme Court to challenge birthright citizenship, and would push Congress to pass a 28th Amendment to the Constitution to remove any doubt.

This sentiment is popular among those who are sick and tired of the invasion of this nation from Mexico. When the Minuteman Project founder James Gilchrist first announced his endorsement for Mike Huckabee, I thought to myself that it was a mistake and that something must be misconstrued by Gilchrist. A statement from the Huckster confirms this.

From Huckster for President:

Former Arkansas Governor and Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee has issued the following comment in response to a Washington Times article reporting he would amend the Constitution in connection to children born in the U.S. to illegal aliens:

I do not support an amendment to the Constitution that would prevent children born in the U.S. to illegal aliens from automatically becoming American citizens. I have no intention of supporting a constitutional amendment to deny birthright citizenship.emphasis mine

Gilchrist’s endorsement siphoned off many Tom Tancredo and Duncan Hunter supporters when it was evident that the Huckster was rising in the polls and neither candidate had a prayer. Now those supporters, many of them in Iowa, Wyoming, and yes New Hampshire, will be regretting their votes because the former Arkansas Governor is being seen as back peddling on an important issue. Raises the question, is the Huckster pandering for votes? My answer is yes.

Remember people that he paid attention to Clintonian politics. His entire campaign reminds me of the Slick One himself, Billy Bob Bubba. Take a look at their personal similarities:

    Both born in Hope Arkansas
Both served as Governor of Arkansas
Both raised taxes as Governor (1)
Both spent Arkansas into a deficit (2)
Both will say whatever to whomever to gain their vote. In other words both are Charlatans.

(1) The Huckster raised taxes MORE than Billy Bob Bubba. He learned so well from Bubba that he out did him in raising taxes.

(2) The Huckster likewise spent MORE than Billy Bob Bubba.

If you want a Clinton maybe you should vote for a Clinton. After-all, there is a Clinton running. IN THE OTHER PARTY!
