Florida Could Be Key to Nomination After-All

With the exit of the only true Conservative in the race for the GOP Nomination, the significance of Florida has been expanded. The Huckster is pulling out of Florida because he knows that he cannot win there. Because Florida is an all or nothing state, if Huckster can’t get any delegates, he has shown that he’ll ignore Floridians. That puts the state in the hands of Mitt Romney, John McCain, or Rudy Giulanani. We all agree that Ron Paul isn’t a significant threat to anyone in any state.

So what is the only poll I watch saying about Florida?

    Mitt Romney 25%
    John McCain 20%
    Rudy Giuliani 19%
    Mike Huckabee 13%
    Fred Thompson 12%
    Other 6%
    Ron Paul 5%

If Fred Heads like me (and I’m not saying that I would) were to support Mitt Romney, that would boost Mitt’s lead in states such as Florida. Personally, barring an official endorsement from Fred himself, I don’t see an across the board mass endorsement of Romney. If one comes, that may signal a potential Romney/Thompson ticket in November which I am willing to go on record now as supporting.

My only problem with Mitt is his change of position on abortion. The illegals mowing his lawn I’m willing at this point to give him the benefit of the doubt that he did not know there were illegals working for his contractor, but he has to convince me that he would support the over turning of Roe in order to gain my full support.

At this point, should I be required to vote tomorrow it would be a choice of 4 individuals that I’d have to hold my nose to consider? The question would then be: which one would require less pressure to drown out the stench? That is the one worthy of my vote I guess given the choices. At this point that would be Mitt Romney. Thank Heaven Ohio doesn’t vote until March. Why Mitt? Again, he is the least offensive of the choices.

You’re wrong about Mitt, and I can prove it. I’ll send you an email, because it would take up too much room. He is a phony. He is the Father of homosexual marriage. The MA Supreme Court CANNOT legislate. The legislature never made it a law, but Mitt told all the clerks that if they had a problem with his dictatorial statement to change the words of the marriage certifacite (and mother and father when a child is born) to person A and person B. He also fought to have abortion added to the ‘healthcare’ plan with $50 co-pay. This was AFTER the stem cell dispute. Consider these issues while I dig up the info for you.

BTW, I’m voting for Rudy. He is at least honest about his positions. This is why I trust him on judges. I’ve also seen him throw arafat out of the un! This guy has plenty of foreign affairs experience, and he has been in a war zone. More than once. Remember 9/11? He is the one who brought this country together single-handedly. But do you also remember February 1993?
