One of my allies in the war on liberalism sent me a comment that was rather disturbing. She said in response to my post Florida Could Be Key to Nomination After-All…
You’re wrong about Mitt, and I can prove it. I’ll send you an email, because it would take up too much room. He is a phony. He is the Father of homosexual marriage. The MA Supreme Court CANNOT legislate. The legislature never made it a law, but Mitt told all the clerks that if they had a problem with his dictatorial statement to change the words of the marriage certifacite (and mother and father when a child is born) to person A and person B. He also fought to have abortion added to the ‘healthcare’ plan with $50 co-pay. This was AFTER the stem cell dispute. Consider these issues while I dig up the info for you.
BTW, I’m voting for Rudy. He is at least honest about his positions. This is why I trust him on judges. I’ve also seen him throw arafat out of the un! This guy has plenty of foreign affairs experience, and he has been in a war zone. More than once. Remember 9/11? He is the one who brought this country together single-handedly. But do you also remember February 1993? - Rosemary
It is my understanding that it wasn’t Mitt Romney who instituted gay marriage in Massachusetts rather it was the Massachusetts Supreme Court legislating from the bench which is something that is, unfortunately, not uncommon in a post Roe v Wade America.
Same-sex marriage in the U.S. state of Massachusetts began on May 17, 2004, as a result of the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts ruling in Goodridge v. Department of Public Health that it was unconstitutional under the Massachusetts constitution to allow only heterosexual couples to marry. Massachusetts became the sixth jurisdiction in the world (after the Netherlands, Belgium, Ontario, British Columbia, and Quebec) to legalize same-sex marriage. It is the first U.S. state to make same-sex marriages legal. SOURCE
The Goodridge et al. v. Department of Public Health decision is available in full via Findlaw on PDF.
Rosemary says that she’s backing Rudy Giuliani not just because of his actions on September 11, 2001 but also his leadership on February 26, 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center. I hope that Rosemary would wake up and realize that crisis management skills aside, Rudy is not qualified to be the Republican Nominee. He is a gun grabber. He’s pro-death. He’s pro-special rights for homosexuals and he’s pro-illegal alien.

If you support these positions you may as well vote for Hillary Clinton. At least she doesn’t hide her positions on these matters.
Rosemary, I like you. But the idea that Rudy is the right fit for the GOP is absurd. You have gone from supporting Duncan Hunter, a very Conservative Congressman from your home state, to supporting Rudy a social liberal. How can that happen? Please don’t fall for his rhetoric on national security. The MSM built this character up for months and you didn’t switch, why now?
Nominating Rudy Giuliani is akin to voting for Hillary because there are plenty of Conservatives like myself that will take the position that if our choices are Clinton v Clinton wannabe, we may as vote for the real deal. Nominating Rudy will signal the dawn of The Clintonian Infestation II.
