Exit Polling Suggests Departure From Washington Business As Ususal
Just seconds after Georgia polls closed and the major news outlets began to call Georgia a win for Barack Obama based on exit polling. This and other indicators in the exit polling suggests that the nation is poised for a departure from business as usual Washington insider politics in favor of the newcomers.
Barack Obama is the relatively inexperienced Junior Senator from Illinois who is still in his first term. In other words, he has fewer than 6 years experience in national politics. This trend could play well for Mitt Romney in the long term. At this point it is best for Mitt to stick no matter the outcome of Super “Duper” Tuesday. A split could trigger a brokered Convention.
