Clinton’s Lead in Ohio Slips

A year ago she was the inevitable Democrat Nominee, today, she’s in danger of losing one of the two key states that she needs to pick up on Mini Tuesday, my home state of Ohio. According to Rasmussen Reports, Hillary Clinton’s lead has shrunk from 10 points last week to 5 today. With voting in another, can she maintain a lead in the Buckeye State?

In my travels out and about on the streets of Dayton, I get the feeling that Montgomery County will likely fall to Obama. Personally I care about as much about which wins their nomination as I do about what Vladamir Putin had for dinner. But the Politically Apathetic American Lemmings* (P.A.A.L.*) in the state of Ohio may look at the poll numbers on the evening news and decide, “Well Margaret, since Obama is going to win it, I’ll stay home.” This idea that every vote doesn’t count has permeated within the P.A.A.L. since before I was born. Every vote does count you morons!

If those on the left who are afraid of what empty promises and platitudes yields resign themselves to the idea that their vote does not count and Obama has this thing won stay home, he will win. Conversely, if those who think that he’s got this thing won and choose to stay home may just hand Clinton the victory that she needs.

The Democrat race is wound tighter than a snare drum and I for once am interested in a Democratic Debate. Tonight in Cleveland it will be…

“In the Purple Corner, weighing in at a pandering whatever pounds, the former First Lady of the United States of America, the Junior Senator from the state of New York, and the aspiring First Woman President of the United States of America… Hilllllllllary Clinnnnnton.”

“And in the Indigo Corner, weighing in at a hefty socialist whogivesacrap pounds, the junior Senator of the state of Illinois and aspiring First Black President (debateable) of the United States, B. Hussein OoooooooBaaaaaamaaaaaaaaaaa.”

Tonight’s debate in Cleveland is going to rival “The Thrilla in Manila” as to viewership because folks, this is for all the marbles on the democrat side. It will be fun to watch them beat each other to a couple of bloody pulps (figuratively of course).
