John Coleman, the founder of The Weather Channel, is a vocal skeptic of the anthropological global warming theory. He is now saying that High Priest Al Gore of the Church of Global Warming of Modern Day Idiots (MDI) should be sued for fraud.

Coleman told an audience at the 2008 International Conference on Climate Change on March 3 in New York that he is highly critical of global warming alarmism.
“The Weather Channel had great promise, and that’s all gone now because they’ve made every mistake in the book on what they’ve done and how they’ve done it and it’s very sad,” Coleman said. “It’s now for sale and there’s a new owner of The Weather Channel will be announced – several billion dollars having changed hands in the near future. Let’s hope the new owners can recapture the vision and stop reporting the traffic, telling us what to think and start giving us useful weather information.”
“[I] have a feeling this is the opening,” Coleman said. “If the lawyers will take the case – sue the people who sell carbon credits. That includes Al Gore. That lawsuit would get so much publicity, so much media attention. And as the experts went to the media stand to testify, I feel like that could become the vehicle to finally put some light on the fraud of global warming.”
That in a nutshell people is what we’ve been saying all along. The “science” used thus far to make the case that man’s contribution to global warming via CO2 has been extremely weak. CO2 levels lag behind temperature increased by a significant amount of time. Up to 800 years to be exact.
Ice cores from Antarctica show that at the end of recent ice ages, the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere usually started to rise only after temperatures had begun to climb. There is uncertainty about the timings, partly because the air trapped in the cores is younger than the ice, but it appears the lags might sometimes have been 800 years or more.
The article cited is critical of skeptics but none-the-less it does state, “it appears the lags might sometimes have been 800 years or more.” This is the reasoning behind the idea that Coleman is putting forth, that elevated CO2 is the result of not the cause of global warming.
I don’t claim that global warming didn’t exist. The climate is constantly changing and yes it was getting warming. That has now come to an end and High Priest Al Gore is mysteriously silent. A year ago we couldn’t escape the man, now he’s disappeared. Question is why?
Could it be that the ice caps are recovering? Could it be that record low temperatures and snow fall levels have shown High Priest Gore’s Power Point presentation to be a fraud? Could it be that he attached himself to the idea of dying polar bears and melting ice so tightly that now it has been debunked he is afraid to show his face in public?

Money is at the heart of Al Gore. He’s no different than a Televangelist or Cuba Gooding, Jr. in Jerry McGuire, “Show me the money!” Now it’s time he give some back to all those that he’s bilked through these carbon credits that aren’t worth the paper they’re printed on.
Fact: Many carbon credits are actually programs sponsored by… OIL COMPANIES! Define irony.
Coleman makes the case that he hopes that The Weather Channel can find its original purpose again. But I’ll believe that when I see it. It is people like Heidi Cullen who will remain at TWC and Coleman’s hopes will be dashed. I can’t remember the last time I watched TWC and this is why…
The Weather Channel has been an outlet for global warming alarmism. In December 2006, The Weather Channel’s Heidi Cullen argued on her blog that weathercasters who had doubts about human influence on global warming should be punished with decertification by the American Meteorological Society.
We get enough hand fed spin applied to us via the media, we don’t need this, and I hesitate to use this term, woman telling us what to think or deciding who should be delivering us weather forecasts. The weather is what it is in spite of what you personally think of anthropological global warming. It’s either going to rain or not, snow or not, be hot, cold, mild, unseasonably, there is no decision making. It is what it is. So what does this “woman” think she is suggesting that credentials be pulled from people who don’t fall in line, lockstep like mindless robots like her?

Global warming fear mongering is a method for taking massive amounts of money and making people believe the hype. People believe the hype so much that they (E.L.F) decides to burn other peoples property.
So what is global warming? A warming or cooling of the earth! We have evidence that the earth was covered partially by ice it was called the ice age. oooosssss and ahhhhhssss……………. The earth was also really warm in regions that are no longer warm based on plants that are found in fossils. As for rising sea levels we know that the earth was covered in water at one time with small pockets of land because we have evidence that shells were found in the mountains.
In short if you are going to give money to any cause you legally have the right to ask how the money is being spent and who’s mansions you are paying for. That is called following the money trail. The money trail sounds like a fun walk in the park. (smurf theme song la la lala la..)

Al Gore you didn’t invent the internet and you didn’t invent global warming and you don’t deserve the nobel peace prize. I believe there should be a class action lawsuit against al gore and any campaigns that are using fear mongering as a way to collect money for this cause.
This is an outrage and all people are doing is getting ripped off. They have propaganda commercials on all the tv stations and it makes absolutely no sence that they should be profitting from this.

Basically what Al Gore has said is that the Earth is warming due to large Corporations polluting and creating heat and cars and so on. What he fails to mention is that we have archilogical records that show towns that are four miles from a previous lakes edge have receded four miles in the course of 8000 years. I understand that the polar ice caps are melting but this is not a new phenomenon either. Antartica at one time was mapped as a land mass and you can see it on the piri reis map which is a collection of multiple maps over a long period of history. This map is from the library of Alexandria the one that burned down. The LoA stored our most valuable scientific knowledge from ancient history.
I care about the environment believe me but Al Gore is ripping us off.
