Democrats And their Stupid Primary System

Super delegates and proportional delegate distribution is proving that the Dems have one messed up system for picking their Nominee. At this point, there are not enough delegates available for either Barack Hussein Obama OR Hillary Clinton to clinch the nomination. That means the nomination will come down to super delegates or end up being brokered if they split.

Like in any convention or caucus, a candidate must get 51% of the voting delegates in order to win. Barack will not get 51% but neither will Hillary. This is due to the proportional distribution of delegates.

On the Republican side, in most states it is winner take all by Congressional District which is the most “fair” of the systems. Winner take all states are not quite as respectful to the voters. Let me explain…

If a candidate takes all of the metropolitan areas but none of the rural areas, why should they get the delegates representing the rural areas? Fact is they shouldn’t. As localized as we can make the politics of government the better. So proportioning the delegates by Congressional district seems to me to be THE most fair way to run the primaries.

Democrats, who in 2000 were so interested in every vote counting, are for some reason distrusting of their constituents. Do they not trust the people who don’t live in cities? That is what it seems to be. They think that some formulary for distributing delegates is more fair. This is emblematic of what they think is the role of government. To regulate how you are represented.

It’s like a bad television show – ‘Government Knows Best’ Staring, Barack Hussein Obama, Michelle Obama, Howard Dean and special guest stars, Hillary Clinton and former Philanderer-in-Chief Billy Bob Bubba Clinton. Knowing this ought to make Hollyweird happy.

Do we want the Government running our lives? If left to Democrats they would decide for us what we mean by our votes. Look at the 2006 mid-terms for example. Dems claim it was about the war when in truth it was about spending.

Economic Conservatives stayed home in 2006 handing the Democrats the majority on a silver platter. If Economic Conservatives show up in 2006 Democrats remain in the minority and we wouldn’t have the prime example of Democratic incompetence that we do called the 110th Congress. It was not about the war in Iraq, it was about Republicans acting like Democrats. On a spending spree resembling white trash hitting the pick 6. This is what the Economic Conservatives were protesting by not voting in 2006 not the war.

Democrats always think they know what’s best for you and distrust the idea that you would know better what’s best for yourself. That is why they want you dependent upon them. Electing them to any level of power creates a larger dependency society because they think that you being dependent upon them is better for you. Government is the answer to every question according to liberals. Their stupid primary distribution system is part of that.

They think that you aren’t smart enough to pick the candidate best for their party so they have this asinine system developed. It is not representative of the will of the people and Barack Hussein Obama will ride this system to the nomination if the super delegates vote his way.

Furthermore, they are retards by breaking their own rules so that Florida and Michigan’s delegates don’t count, then crying about it afterwards.

Maybe economic conservatives were tired of out of control spending. I was. But this issue was of little consequence compared with the betrayal of our country by having an open border during time of war. Illegal immigration, amnesty, equal justice under law, and closing the borders were the big issues for many of us.

The Kennedy-McCain-Kyl comprehensive immigration reform, better known as shamnesty, was a betrayal of America as well as conservatives. If these issues are ignored and talk of the war or the economy are used to divert attention from them, then 2008 will be a replay of 2006. The GOP must recognize their failure in all aspects of illegal immigration and take steps to correct their mistakes.
