Fellow Conservative Blogger Pulls a Fast One on Daily Kooks

Gribbit IconYesterday was April Fool’s Day and fellow Conservative Blogger John Bambenek (Part-Time Pundit) sent our “friends” over at the Daily KOS a little joke. He wrote a diary entry saying that he had converted to Obamamania.

And let’s be clear, it was a joke. I’ve been in contact with John and he’s rolling at the response from the Kooks.

John Bambenek on KOS

The best part is the comments. These morons actually thought that he converted.

Of course there are more comments but you get the idea. For the most part, for over half the day it seems that only one commenter recognized this as a joke (as of this writing). I obviously wrote this piece early and held off on publishing it as to not tip off the Kooks as I’m sure by the time of publication the diary will be deleted.

My favorite response to the one who recognized this as a joke…

What are you looking for? A gold star? Even if this is an April’s Fools joke, there are many stories out there just like his.

We could not laugh enough at this. The Kooks are so singular minded that they actually think that a hard-core Conservative would be willing to jump sides of the fence that easily. Even if a Conservative were to abandon their hard-core views, I doubt seriously that they’d vote for Obama when we already have John McCain running. That would be too drastic a change and proves that liberals are devoid of logic.

This shows that Barack Hussein Obama is the Ron Paul of the Democrat Party. His fanatics will stop at nothing to jump on the bandwagon and push their candidate. No wonder 19% of them won’t vote for Clinton. And even more of a reality, 28% of Clinton supporters won’t vote for Obama.

Note:
Screen-Shots captured from the Daily KOS at 12:57pm EDT and resized to fit the blog. No other alterations have been made to these photos. In other words, John got them and we have record of it.

UPDATE 2242 EDT:

It looks as though Daily KOS isn’t catching on and is leaving the diary up. I fully expected Marcos to catch on eventually and scrub his account but it seems that Marcos is a bit more gullible than I (and most of the world) would have expected.

UPDATE: 4/9 0122 EDT:

Welcome Daily Kooks… You may want to check this one out as well especially since it is inspired by the reason why you are here today.
