Chairman Dean Beginning to Feel the Heat

Life as the DNC Chairman isn’t all beer and skittles for Chairman Dean these days. He’s got to take time out of his BDS driven psychopathic rampages in order to make an attempt at unifying his own party before the rifts being created by Obama and Clinton don’t become permanent fractures within the Party.

From FoxNews.com:

Democratic Party Chairman Howard Dean is under increasing pressure to bring an end to the contentious and drawn-out nomination battle, and some Democrats are questioning whether his modest approach so far has been effective.

With only eight state contests left to go and no candidate picked to challenge presumptive Republican nominee John McCain, several Democrats have called for Dean to step up his efforts to resolve the contest.

The prospect of a prolonged fight between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, they fear, will hurt the party’s chances of recapturing the White House come November.

The biggest burr under Chairman Dean’s saddle is the quandary about what to do with the Michigan and Florida delegates.

Of chief concern among party members is the question of how to seat delegations from Michigan and Florida at this summer’s Democratic National Convention in Denver. Those delegates were stripped after the two states scheduled early primaries in violation of party rules. Clinton repeatedly said a week ago that she’s willing to take this issue to the convention if it’s not resolved.

It is no secret and has been well documented that Hillary plans on taking the fight over the seating of delegates to the Credentials Committee at the Convention to get those delegates seated.

It must also be a headache for Chairman Dean to know that no Clinton will drop out of any race as long as there is the slimmest of chances of winning. The last time I heard, Clinton’s chances of gaining the nomination is somewhere around 5%. I suspect that since the Convention has a chance at being brokered, Clinton will stay in even if that number drops to 0% which is where some in the Democrat Party already believe it is.

A fact that hasn’t gone unnoticed by the right side of the blogosphere is that upwards of 28% of Clinton supporters will not vote for Barack Hussein Obama. If he is their inevitable nominee he may be losing the General based on that number alone since Hillary is actually leading in the popular vote.

All these facts must be giving Chairman Dean migraines and I love it.
