BBC: Global warming ‘dips this year’

One of the world’s most liberal of news services is not only admitting that global temperatures retreated this year; but is also stating a fact that we’ve know for quite some time. The earth’s temperature has not risen since 1998.

From the BBC:

Global temperatures will drop slightly this year as a result of the cooling effect of the La Nina current in the Pacific, UN meteorologists have said.

The World Meteorological Organization’s secretary-general, Michel Jarraud, told the BBC it was likely that La Nina would continue into the summer.

This would mean global temperatures have not risen since 1998, prompting some to question climate change theory.

Even though they have cried uncle on these points, the BBC still insists on claiming, “But experts say we are still clearly in a long-term warming trend – and they forecast a new record high temperature within five years.”

These pinheads are so far up High Priest Al Gore’s backside they know what he eats for lunch. If Gore were to take a sharp right turn and drop this Global Warming non-sense, he’d decapitate most of these faithful followers of the Church of Global Warming of Modern Day Idiots. Most who insist that man is responsible for this naturally occurring phenomenon are now considering the idea that the earth is cooling. They still believe man is solely responsible for the change in climate, but they are no longer insisting that the ice caps are melting and polar bears (which can swim by the way) are drowning.

Nothing can change the minds of the socialism enamored British press that Al Gore could possibly be wrong. Oh Stalin forbid the Al Gore is actually wrong that would mean the collapse of reality as they know it.

It figures they would have a hard time accepting the truth. The bottom line truth to me is that the earth has been warmer in the past and that fact alone is all that is needed to know that whether or not things are warming depends entirely on what point of reference we are using as a starting point. In other words if the beginning point of reference is one of the times it was warmer than now the trend looks like a cooling one. If the beginning point is a cool period than naturally it looks like it is warming. I think a line from a song by Yes says it pretty well: “you can twist perception. reality doesn’t budge.”

Who are these “experts”? The UN bunch? Criminy! With all the evidence…SCIENTIFIC evidence…to the contrary, they still insist we’re all going to be toast.
