Media outlets have been plush with stories in the past couple of days touting Barack Hussein Obama’s rock-star sized entourage as he makes his media event tour of the Middle East and Europe. But what one must remember when reading about Mr. Obama’s inflated entourage of cheerleaders is the fact that the anchors of the big 3 alphabet networks are included in this bunch of groupies.

Toward the end of the lead story on Friday’s CBS Evening News about Barack Obama embarking on a trip to the Middle East and Europe, Jeff Greenfield acknowledged: “This saturation coverage has already led the conservative blogosphere to offer blistering critiques of a liberal media slavishly treating Obama as a pop star.” But, Greenfield assured anchor Katie Couric, who, along with Brian Williams and Charles Gibson, will accompany Obama, “the sheer presence of media in no way guarantees favorable coverage. In some ways, it makes the possibility of a misstep that much more dangerous.” That prompted a worried Couric to wonder: “What do you think is the biggest potential landmine for him?”

This is the biggest load of male bovine droppings that I’ve ever read. Especially once you put foreign travel made by the Presidential candidates in context.

Brent Bozell, publisher of NewsBusters and President of the Media Research Center, appeared on Fox & Friends to do just that.

Bozell emphasizes that when John McCain took a tour of the Middle East and Europe shortly after securing the Republican nomination, none of the big 3 alphabets sent an anchor to cover the trip and CBS didn’t even send a correspondent. During that trip, only 4 stories even aired on the big 3 alphabets about the trip and the CBS piece was only 31 words in length.

The Main Stream Media is on a quest to influence the outcome of this year’s Presidential election. First they successfully engineered the nomination of John McCain because they believed that by getting the centrist nominated, it would erode the Conservative base and therefor make it easier for their eventual nominee to win. Now we are seeing a retreat in the favorable coverage of McCain and an influx of positive sounding stories about the empty suit that secured the nomination from the left.

The media keeps putting forth the idea that Barack Hussein Obama’s trip is NOT a campaign trip, but it must be if he is including an entourage including the anchors of the big 3 alphabets. Any idiot can figure that out.

Here’s the thing campers, Obama hasn’t a clue as to what it takes to be President of the United States. He is nothing more than a suit filled with platitudes that regurgitates the word change. He started to show that side of himself in law school.

“When classmates in college asked me just what it was that a community organizer did, I couldn’t answer them directly.”

Instead, he said, “I’d pronounce on the need for change. Change in the White House, where Reagan and his minions were carrying on their dirty deeds. Change in the congress, compliant and corrupt. Change in the mood of the country, manic and self-absorbed. Change won’t come from the top, I would say. Change will come from a mobilized grass roots.”

Thus, Obama admitted that he accomplished little but that he was able to cover that up with fancy talk about change.

During the primary process we heard nothing out of Mr. Obama but the words Change and Hope. Neither of which did he ever define. Change what from what to what? Hope in what or for what? Obama has never said. But the press ate it up anyway and if left up to them, the Politically Apathetic American Lemmings* will elect the empty suit on their say so alone. This is why Katie, Brian and Charles are on this very trip. To deny that is a bold faced lie.
