Try As He Might, Obama’s Case To Tie McCain To Bush Falls FLAT

In the wake of Obama’s poor showing at the Saddleback Church, the Obamassiah went on the attack in a feeble attempt to link McCain to unpopular George W. Bush.

First of all, George W. Bush irritates enough Conservatives on his own by not being Conservative enough, but to attempt to tie John McCain to him is like trying to tie Conservatives to George Wallace. They aren’t the same. But you can’t teach an old liberal new tricks.

Obama had to come off his poor showing in the face of Rev. Rick Warren with something that the tin foil left could rally behind - and tying anything to George W. Bush is bound to have the bong smokers in a tizzy. Let’s face facts people, Obama showed just how empty of a suit he is on the abortion questions alone.

Rick Warren: “At what point does a baby get human rights, in your view?”

The Suit: “Whether you are looking at it from a theological perspective or a scientific perspective, answering that question with specificity is, you know, above my pay grade.”

When asked the same question Sen. McCain answered…

“At CONCEPTION” emphasis mine

McCain didn’t give a carefully crafted answer designed to avoid truly answering the question. He flat out answered it. And at that point, all of America knew who was being truthful and who was going to play the game of “tired old politics”.

Fast forward to yesterday and beyond, Obama has to divert attention from the fact that he now is perceived by every person in this country that either watched the match-up or read of it in the paper or on the net as a tired old politician because my friends that is exactly what he is. His whole adult life has been one political maneuver followed by another. He couldn’t even wait to finish his freshman term as a United States Senator before looking up. Hillary at least did that. No matter how entitled she feels that she is to the Presidency, she at least finished her freshman term. Obama cannot say the same.

What little we do know about Mr. Obama is not very flattering. And the strong stench of socialism is permeating from him. Even left coast socialist Nancy Pelosi is in the news today calling Obama, “”a leader that God has blessed us with at this time.” H/T the Politico

The egomaniac is even making speeches guaranteeing he will win.

Also from the Politico:

“I will win. Don’t worry about that,” he said to the crowd of about 1,300.

“Now, you want to win. And saying it doesn’t make it so,” he told the crowd. “It would be nice to think that after eight years of economic disaster, after eight years of bungled foreign policy, of being engaged in a war that should never have been authorized and should never have been waged, that cost us a trillion dollars and thousands of lives, that people would say, let’s toss the bums out. Toss the bums out, we’re starting from scratch, we’re starting over. This is not working.”

“So I understand why a lot of folks are saying, this should just happen. Why are we having to run all these television commercials? Why do we have to raise all this money? Just read the papers. These are the knuckleheads who have been in charge. Throw ‘em out. But American politics aren’t that simple,” he said.

“The fact of the matter is, at a certain point, when government has not been serving the people for this long, people get cynical. They tune out. And they start saying to themselves, a plague on both your houses. They are willing to consume negative information more frequently than positive information, for good reason. They’ve seen how promises haven’t been kept,” he said.

This is what he told thousands of Party faithful who willing gave up $7.1 million of their hard earned money so that once he gets elected they can give up even more - in taxes.

Obama has no foreign policy experience. Sure sure, he drew a crowed of approximately 200,000 Germans to hear his speech on socialism when he was there. But lets face it folks, Germans have a track record of turning out in mass to cheer on a cult of personality.

So his recent failed trip to Europe where he slighted wounded US troops in favor of going to the gym, and the Middle East, combined with his being born in Hawaii, living in Indonesia, and having Kenyan citizenship, somehow makes him a foreign policy expert? I DON”T THINK SO.

A recent web video reminded me of something… Why is it that when a Republican is photographed shaking hands with someone who later ends up being our perceived enemy (accurately or not) somehow we are in bed with them. But as soon as a liberal does the same thing, they’re enlightened?

Obama is the one that said that he would meet with Kim Jong mentally Ill. Obama is the one who would meet with Iran. Obama is the one who would meet with al Qaeda. Why not, recent documents from Indonesia lists his religion as Islam.

But we’re not allowed to bring up his inexperience. We’re not allowed to bring up his voting record on abortion issues. We’re not allowed to ask him any serious questions about issues. What else could the explanation be as to why he won’t agree to town hall meetings with the Republican Nominee? Short answer - he cannot function off his prepared statements.

I’m sure that these “town halls” that we see on CNN are carefully scripted where the questions are submitted ahead of time so that Obama’s handlers can load the answers that he’s to give into the teleprompter.

The bottom line campers is that no matter how much he tries to make the case for electing him is to remove George W. Bush and what they perceive as his failed policies, the fact remains that George isn’t running for anything. His political career is ending and he’ll be entering his retirement on January 20, 2009 at 12 noon. The era of Bush will be at an end (that is until Jenna decides to run) and Obama’s attempts to tie a man who has resisted being tied to any political faction for his entire political career is an exercise in futility that only the far left will buy-in to.
