Iraq Pullout Agreement, Surge Success, Bush Numbers Up, Obama Impotant

The impending nomination of Barack Hussein Obama as the Democrat Nominee for President of the United States may be deflated before it gets started. The Bush Administration and the Iraqi government have an agreement for troop withdrawal out of the major cities of Iraq beginning in June of 2009 with the goal of having all US troops out of Iraq sometime in 2011. What is Obama going to use as campaign rhetoric now that a “timeline” for withdrawal has been made? All of this was made possible by the success of the troop surge that was first proposed by none other than Sen. John McCain who he must face on November 4. The result of all of this is that President George W. Bush’s approval ratings have been lifted a bit and are out of the dismal 20s and now in the mediocre 30s. All of these things are blows to Obama’s rhetoric which has been pounding nothing but platitudes about ‘hope’ and ‘change’ and identifying what the extreme left in this country perceives as shortcomings of the Bush Administration.

His newest strategy is to attempt to link John McCain, who has alienated everyone in the Republican Party at one time or another, to George W. Bush. The only real link between the two men is the fact that they are registered in the same political Party. Bush and McCain don’t like one another very much so linking them together is nothing short of a deception. If Mr. Obama believes that he his going to gain ground politically against McCain with this latest stunt he may have an impending education.

Obama’s selection of Joe Biden as his VP running mate may be the mistake that hard line Dems will point to when McCain wins in November. They will point to his choice of Biden as a calculated mistake that yielded balance on his ticket at the peril of pointing out Obama’s weaknesses. Biden has been in the Senate for more than 30 years so that blows the whole ‘change’ idea out of the water. There is nothing new about old politics which, if you haven’t been paying attention, is what Obama has been playing all along. Biden is outspoken to a fault and is a stunning reminder that Obama is inexperienced.

McCain and the Republican National Committee along with bloggers like myself will be hammering home Obama’s lackluster career as we approach election day. But standing along side of Obama for each and every one of his appearances will be big mouth Joe the ultimate example of politics as usual and Barack’s inexperience.

Biden’s baggage will become Obama’s baggage. The insensitive comments like…

My state was a slave state.

And who can ever forget the clean remark?

Or how about the 7-11 gaff?

… will, by association, become Barack’s. One would ‘hope’ that the KOSsacks would demonize Barack for bigmouth Joe’s vocal diarrhea as much as they demonize George W. Bush for Dick Cheney’s Conservatism. Because, as we on the right know, Bush is not a true Conservative. But I won’t hold my breath. The KOSsacks and their leader Marcos the Queer only see fault in Republicans - and Hillary Clinton of course.

So I’d like to say a very hearty THANK YOU SENATOR OBAMA for picking someone who will in all likelihood assist in your ultimate defeat.
