The McCain Ad That PO’d Obamassiah

The newest McCain ad slamming the Obamassiah takes issue as to why Hillary wasn’t selected. Heck, she wasn’t even vetted.

Here’s what he’s perturbed at:

If we in the Conservative Blogosphere have realized more than anything we know that the more irritated they get and the more strongly they lash out the closer to home you are with the truth. John must be hitting the nail on the head.

Barack Obama’s campaign fired back Sunday against John McCain’s ad accusing him of snubbing Hillary Clinton for his running mate slot, calling the attack “demonstrably false.”

The ad, released at 3 a.m. Sunday, suggested that Obama did not choose his former rival because she pointed out his character flaws during the Democratic primaries.

The ad sought to exploit tension between Obama and Clinton’s supporters — tension that continued to simmer after officials confirmed that Clinton was not even vetted for the vice presidential slot. Obama gave that job to Delaware Sen. Joe Biden Saturday.

Well YEAH! What, do you think that an opportunity that can submarine your opponent’s chances of defeating you should be ignored? Don’t be naive.

Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs, speaking with “FOX News Sunday,” disputed reports of lingering divisions in the party, claiming the Democratic National Convention — which begins Monday in Denver — will show a united front.

“Senator Obama had a great conversation with Senator Clinton this week as well as former president Bill Clinton. Everybody’s on board,” he said. “And it’s going to drive the media crazy when we come out of this convention united. … Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, everybody that ran for this office is going to be united.”

Gibbs and Obama strategist David Axelrod slammed McCain’s camp for the new ad.

“They know that that ad is demonstrably false,” Gibbs said. “They know that Hillary Clinton is supporting Barack Obama.”

The Obama camp must not have gotten the memo. The Clinton’s want back in the White House that is well known. Hillary’s ONLY shot at becoming the first woman President of the United States IS IN 2012. She cannot run for her Party’s nomination IF Barack Obama is President of the United States. She knows this and so do her supporters.

Barack Obama must be a political simpleton if he truly believes that she and her husband, former President Billy Bob Bubba, are truly supporting him. Here’s a clue people… Every bit of trash coming out against Obama between now and the election will originate with the Clintons.

So they can go on the Sunday news shows and regurgitate the campaign’s delusion that the Clintons are in their camp when we all know that anything that she does to help him win will be a facade. The truth is if he wins, her political career is over.

I filed this story under STUPIDITY because that is what the Obama campaign is counting on. The STUPIDITY of the electorate.
