Fred on John
H/T: Stop the ACLU
I can say that I knew of John McCain’s sacrifice in Vietnam. But I didn’t know the details that Fred Thompson went into about how poorly John was treated. I’m glad that Fred was the man to educate the Party on John’s true sacrifice. As Fred detailed John’s Vietnam experience, there wasn’t a sound to be heard in that arena. You could hear a pin drop. On the faces of the people you saw genuine awe and disbelief. In their eyes you could see tears forming. That is a powerful testimonial to the character of this man and why he is the leader we need for this country.
“A Man Who Never Quits, Is Never Defeated.” – Sen. Fred Dalton Thompson (Ret.) on Sen. John S. McCain
