Change Is the ‘08 Buzz-Word

Barack Hussein Obama has been decrying the mantra of ‘Change’ for the past 19 months (and beyond) but for some reason has never found the time to define it. John McCain in 7 days not only found time to decry ‘Change’ but found time to define it.

By picking Sarah Palin as his running mate, John McCain chose ‘Change’ as well. In her speech on Wednesday you began to hear the definition of ‘Change’. Last night John McCain himself fully defined what real ‘Change’ is.

Obama decries it – McCain defines it. So if YOU are going to vote for ‘Change’ who are YOU voting for?

Personally I’d like ‘Change’ to be defined before I vote for it. I’d like to know what is going to be changed and to what. Handing someone a blank check to do something is always dangerous.

‘Change’ needs to happen. But who is most qualified to make the changes we need to survive? One candidate leaves the definition open to interpretation. The other candidate is being specific. But only YOU have the keys to that vote. Only YOU can make the choice. And YOU will be responsible for what is done with YOUR vote. If you give that vote away irresponsibly – are YOU going to be willing to live with YOUR choice. I can honestly say, I am willing to live with mine.
