Liberal “Intellectuals” Or the Lack Thereof

The lefty blogosphere is ripe with turds who couldn’t find a coherent thought with a seeing eye dog and a flashlight. But there seems to be a couple who are obsessed with what I write. I should be flattered I guess, but I’m not. I’m not even annoyed by the turds. I don’t find them entertaining nor do I find them anything resembling intelligent in spite of their efforts to come across as educated. One writes a diary in the misleadingly named Science Blogs collection of hate pages. I call him Kevin the Chimp because he names his hate page Dr. Joan Bushwell’s Chimpanzee Refuge. One of those evolution is settled science types who can’t remember that it is only a theory. And one that is full of holes that they call missing links.

Science Blogs I call misleadingly named because I can’t for the life of me understand where the science is. The main site states that it is “the world’s largest conversation about science” in spite of the lack of evidence supporting the claim. But what you can find is no shortage of “blogs” which cherry pick Conservative sites and attempt to label the writer as a loon by using distortions and conjecture. But hey, that’s just science right?

In his last reference to my blog, and me personally might I add, Kevin the Chimp insinuated that I didn’t know that King Barry I hasn’t assumed the power of the Presidency yet. On the contrary Mr Chimp, it is Barry that hasn’t learned that just because he was elected on November 4, 2008 that he doesn’t begin his “rule” until January 20, 2009 at 12 noon.

What I did find at Science Blogs was a prideful announcement about the site’s stats. The site hosts 73 “blogs”, has over 86,000 posts, and 1,161,000+ comments from “yes men” who, like the authors of the pages couldn’t find a coherent thought even if they hired a guide to point them out. But no science.

Then there is Meat for Brains (aka Terry Bisson). The self absorbed “science fiction” writer from the left coast. The leftist troll who leave spam comments on every Conservative blog with open comments. Spam comments I say because he hijacks the posts with his droppings. Like Kevin the Chimp, on his own site Meaty doesn’t post any original thoughts. What he writes is more like what Al Franken used to spend 3 hours flapping his gums about on Error Amerika. He calls people liars with no evidence. Like Franken, it is predictable.

Meaty does what he does in an attempt to drive up his traffic. It is a common tactic of smaller sites. You visit a site and leave a comment with a link hoping to peel off some traffic. Usually you do so on sites you like but not Meaty, he’s so stupid that he doesn’t realize that the 1st Amendment only applies to the author. You have the right to bring a soap box to the local park and yammer on about whatever you wish. But I don’t have the right to push you off your soap box and start spouting off whatever is bothering me. It’s your box, not mine. People like Meat for Brains don’t understand the concept of property rights.

Leftists claim some sort of monopoly on intelligence and the title intellectual, but I find the opposite is true. Most people who vote for Democrats based on some sense of liberalism aren’t intelligent at all. Most never watch the evening news, rarely read a newspaper, and only involve themselves in politics every 4 years when the leftist of choice by the DNC is put forward as a candidate for President, if then. Most of the left’s “intellectuals” only assume they are intellectuals because they have a degree in underwater basket weaving or some drivel. Just because some libtard professor praised them in college for their insight, they consider themselves informed and more qualified to comment on the state of the nation than anyone else. This is a type of insanity only the college educated liberal could possibly be infected with. Their education becomes their identity and for some reason they think that because they have a doctorate in basket weaving that translates into some sort of political insight. Like actors, singers, and writers who believe that they can influence voting patterns because the apathetic masses are unwilling to actually do the research required to make an informed decision, the college educated liberal has no special insight. None. They just flash those letters behind their name and remind you of their resume hoping that you will think that they know better because they are smarter than you.

The truth is that there are many intelligent people in this world who have never seen the inside of a college. Many of these people, due to personal circumstances, chose to enter the workforce straight out of high school. These are the hard working stiffs who actually do read the paper, watch the news and stay informed of the real state of the nation. They participate in the political process even if it is only local ballot issues and consider actually running for office. Some are Republicans, still others are Democrats. Some are even true Independents who carefully look at which candidates are best based on their histories. These people are truly intelligent. Not because they are educated in a formal institution of higher learning, but rather because they have the ability to observe.
