With over 100 unfilled positions in the Obama Infestation, President Juggears will have the opportunity to fill another vacancy – Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court. National Public Radio is reporting that Justice David Souter – a Republican disappointment to say the least – will be announcing his retirement from the high court.
This prompts the question – Who will the POTUS appoint to fill turn-coat Souter’s seat on the high court?
Using the logic that Barry will be under tremendous pressure to replace Souter with a woman and understanding the political debts that he owes the Chicago Democrat Machine for his election, I predict that he will select Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan. Madigan has a 100% rating from Planned Parenthood which fulfills Juggears’ pro-death agenda. AND Madigan served in the Illinois Senate with Juggears. They are pals according to her Wikipedia page.
My other suggestion would be ACLU Executive Director Anthony Romero to pander to the gay community but I think that he’s saving Romero as a replacement for Ginsburg or Stevens.

The short answer is NO [update - not from eating them]. Swine flu is a mutation of the influenza virus resulting from the cross-breeding of the swine, avian (aka bird flu), and human viruses. The idea that one could contract “swine flu”, as the H1N1 virus is being touted, from pigs is non-sense since swine to human transmission of the virus is almost unheard of. Add to that the fact that if you get a flu virus from pigs, it is probably going to be the swine version of the virus without the human and avian mutations.
In other words, culling of swine herds world-wide is hysteria based idiocy.
You cannot get “swine flu” from eating pork. Nor can you get it from farming pigs because pigs cannot and will not be carrying the H1N1 virus. The panic being caused by labeling the H1N1 Influenza virus “Swine Flu” is on the verge of becoming a pandemic in-itself.
On a side note…
Even if pork were the carriers of H1N1, you cannot get the virus from eating the meat. Unless you eat it raw that is. Because if you cook pork the way that pork is supposed to be cooked – due to Salmonella concerns – you would be killing off the virus anyway.
So relax and don’t worry about pigs already. You are more likely going to catch it from another biped not a 4-legged oinker.
This is not correct. Pigs do carry the H1N1 virus but it is not indigenous to them. H1N1 is a human virus but it mutated with several other viruses to make what they are calling swine flu.
The H1N1 that you are seeing now is a subclass of the virus that mutated from two swine viruses, and avian virus and human virus. You most certainly can get the virus from pigs (but not eating properly cooked pork). Though it is unusual to have swine flu transmit ti humans it can for people who work closely with the animals. Human to human transmission is usually not seen.
However, since the influenza type A viruses replicate in cellular RNA they do not get complete genetic coding and variants can occur. The four viruses I named were in a pig which was the host. They combined and were able to be transmitted to human in a process known as antigenic shift.
Keep in mind, normally swine flu virus cannot (or rarely) transmits to humans but since it is an RNA virus it can mutate and make a subspecies which would then be able to transmit to humans.
You cannot get it from eating them but you can get it from them.
If an antigenic shift takes place with avian flu allowing it to transmit to humans and from human to human we will have problems.

The nonpartisan Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget estimated his policy proposals would add a net $428 billion to the deficit over four years, even accounting for his spending reduction goals. Now, the deficit is nearly quadrupling to $1.75 trillion. – emphasis mine
For all the excuses that the AP makes for the man with the middle name Hussein in their article, they also are pointing out his disconnection with the truth. Which is in fact something that we on the right have been telling you since before YOU voted for him. YOU, the American voter, are responsible for what is happening with our country. YOU, allowed Barry the Wonder Turd to become POTUS in spite of questions that have gone unanswered to this day. YOU elected him without knowing who he is. With the defection of Arlen Spector to the Democrat Party the Senate Majority Leader has the super majority required to bypass the Will of the People. It is now more imperative than ever to take away that majority.
1/3 of the Senate is up for re-election next year. We already have Barney “Fruit Loops” Frank calling for a 1/3 reduction in the Defense budget so that means even less for the troops OR more of YOUR money going to Washington Liberals to spend on pet projects.
I have an idea… Why don’t we just scrub every single spending program proposed and that should keep the budget in check at the current $11 Trillion in debt. But that won’t happen. WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman John Boehner (R-West Chester) today applauded Reps. Jean Schmidt and Michael Turner for announcing they will introduce legislation to allow Warren County (OH) to return rejected federal “stimulus” dollars to the U.S. Treasury to pay down the national debt.
“Local leaders in Warren County, Liberty Township and other communities are standing up for our children and grandchildren by taking a principled stand against Washington’s insistence on spending money we simply do not have,” Boehner said. “The funds Warren County has declined should be returned to the federal Treasury to reduce the national debt, and I commend Jean Schmidt and Mike Turner for their leadership in writing legislation to help ensure this happens. I hope House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will allow the bill to come to a vote immediately once it is introduced.
“The trillion-dollar ‘stimulus’ passed by Congress recently was an act of generational theft, putting hundreds of billions of debt on our children and grandchildren to pay for projects that in far too many cases will not create jobs. We could have passed legislation that created twice as many jobs at half the cost. I and Rep. Eric Cantor personally presented the President with just such a proposal. Unfortunately, this more responsible approach was rejected by the Democratic Congress, and our now our children are paying the price,” Boehner noted.

Cleaning up skies choked with smog and soot would sharply curtail the capacity of plants to absorb carbon dioxide and blunt global warming, according to a study released on Wednesday.
Plant life — especially tropical forests — soak up a quarter of all the CO2 humans spew into the atmosphere, and thus plays a critical role in keeping climate change in check.
Through photosynthesis, vegetation transforms sunlight, CO2 and water into sugar nutrients.
Common sense would suggest that air pollution in the form of microscopic particles that obstruct the Sun’s rays — a phenomenon called “global dimming” — would hamper this process, but the new study shows the opposite is true.
“Surprisingly, the effects of atmospheric pollution seem to have enhanced global plant productivity by as much as a quarter from 1960 to 1999,” said Linda Mercado, a researcher at the Met Office Hadley Centre in Britain, and the study’s lead author.
“This resulted in a net ten percent increase in the amount of carbon stored by the land,” she said in a statement.
Wow – if I read this correctly it seems to me that the rapid warming of the earth in recent decades could possibly be the result of clean air legislation and pollution limitations placed on industry. Interesting… Or it would be if I actually believed that CO2 had anything to do with global warming – which I don’t.

The results of ice-core drilling and sea ice monitoring indicate there is no large-scale melting of ice over most of Antarctica, although experts are concerned at ice losses on the continent’s western coast.
Antarctica has 90 percent of the Earth’s ice and 80 percent of its fresh water, The Australian reports. Extensive melting of Antarctic ice sheets would be required to raise sea levels substantially, and ice is melting in parts of west Antarctica. This government is guilty of forcefully requiring the American taxpayer to submit personal and corporate financial history and using this as a basis to determine how much they will take from the American taxpayer, and having no authority to do so, except the authority granted by the American taxpayer. They are guilty of garnishing the hard earned wages of individuals who fail to submit to their tyranny and placing citizens who do not abide by these rules under economic duress.
This government is guilty of, hypocritically, never being accountable or responsible for the money taken from the American taxpayer and spent on behalf of the American taxpayer. It never releases detailed public records of their transactions to the American taxpayers, who finance its usurpations and destructive actions.
This government is guilty of using expanding government agencies and using their employees against the very people whom they are sworn to protect and defend, in order to obtain their personal financial information, when it is not willfully submitted. They fight their citizens with extreme force to collect these dictated portions of income. In doing so they have abused the power granted to them by the very people they are elected to represent. In addition, they have erected a multitude of new offices, and sent swarms of agents and officers to monitor and harass our people, and eat out their substance.
This government is guilty of forceful suppression to the opposition to their invasions on the rights of the people.
This government is guilty of treating certain well connected officials and citizens with preferential treatment and favoritism by releasing them of their debts which no ordinary citizen would ever be released from.
This government has affected to render the government and its officials independent of and superior to civil power and the Constitutional law which we hold sacred.
This government has refused its assent to laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.
This government is guilty of providing aid to countless foreigners, who illegally reside within our borders and cause vast amounts of the American Taxpayer’s wealth to be spent on maintaining the wellbeing of people who violate our laws.
This government has taken away our charters, perverted our most valuable laws, and fundamentally altered the original form of our government.
The American taxpayers recognize this government’s movement towards socialism and nationalization of our private sector. They have become excessively involved in the regulation of our economy and financial matters to the point of hindering the normal functionality and profitability of our economic system. The American taxpayers find absolute absurdity in the reasoning that laws should be passed for light and transient causes. The American taxpayers find reason to believe that the more laws a governing body enforces is in direct relation to the freedoms the financers of government must relinquish. Therefore, common sense dictates that passing bills into law should be done cautiously, with discussion and debate, and with absolute transparency to the American taxpayer who is expected to relinquish their freedom or give their money to meet the purpose of a law. Laws should also be repealed with the same levels of caution, debate, and trust. This government has acted in manners which do not reflect this intelligent method of governing. They hastily act to grossly spend the wealth of the American taxpayer without deliberation or caution. They operate swiftly, at irregular hours of operation in order to fatigue opposition into compliance with their measures. They do so as if to hide the contents of their propositions from the American taxpayer, without obtaining all the information and knowledge required to make educated decisions. They hide behind the façade that these laws are passed for a sole common good. They stuff their bills full of wasteful spending, lobbyist interests, personal gains, and hold the American taxpayer in obligation to pay for their misuse and outright abuse of power. They have penned extraordinarily outrageous, massive, verbose, bills which hide propositions from the officials who are supposed to vote on them and the American taxpayer who is supposed to pay for them. They rush these large bills through the process by which bills become law before the elected representatives of the American taxpayer, and the American taxpayer themselves have the time to carefully consider the implications or results of passing such bills. In the performance of these actions, they clearly announce that they have lost sight of the people they have sworn to serve and have shown more of an apparent concern in serving their own interests and motives. They have obtained great wealth at the expense of the American taxpayer. These actions stand in direct violation to the sanctity of our republic and remove the rights of the people to govern themselves. This is the very definition of tyranny, which is to say, a cruel use of power by an oppressive government.
The American taxpayers take offense to the idea that this government and the elected officials within it still serve the people for the common good. We believe they forcefully, and in all ways with all the characteristics of with which tyranny can be defined, rule over the people for their own interests and this is proven every time they freely take and spend our money, without accountability to the very people who finance their way of life, and in the passing of laws that do not uphold or defend the common good.
This government is guilty in respect to the failure to meet or pursue all of the basic original, foundational goals of our governing document, The Constitution of the United States of America.
The American taxpayers take offense to the thought that this government, in its present form, which seems to only serve the powerful and corrupt members of its own body, is working towards a “more perfect Union”.
