I don’t even want to know what he’s doing to that stuffed bear.
That said, I’m putting every single libtard on notice – Your complaining days are officially over. None of you – especially you morons in Minnesota – have a right to complain about anything anymore. You have your wish. A bulletproof socialist government. And as this country continues to go down the toilet, just remember – You caused it.
In the wake of the overwhelming stupidity shown by 219 members of the House of Representatives on Friday in passing the energy bill without doing a cost to benefit analysis on any portion of the bill, we today have access to a quashed report drafted at the EPA on the uncertainties over man made global warming climate change.
From the report:
We have become increasingly concerned that the EPA and many other agencies and countries have paid too little attention to the science of global warming. EPA and other have tended to accept the findings reached by outside groups, particularly the IPCC and the CCSP, as being correct without a careful and critical examination of their conclusions and documentation. If they should be found to be incorrect at a later date, however, and the EPA is found not to have made a really careful review of them before reaching its decisions on endangerment, it appears likely that it is the EPA rather than these groups that may be blamed for this error.
It seems to me that anyone who may have read this report, and this paragraph in particular, then decided to ignore the author’s observations and go with the IPCC and CCSP reports is a fraud. From the opening paragraph of the preface, the author of this document that the Obama friendly EPA leadership chose to hide, it is evident that there is someone within the organization who knows better than to accept blithely conclusions reached by individuals who may have had an agenda. It seems only prudent, that the EPA – an agency of the US government – would have done independent studies to either confirm or disprove the results of the IPCC and CCSP reports. Failing to do so opens the EPA and the government of the United States up to all kinds of difficulties when those conclusions are found to be fraudulent. Prudence alone warrants an independent study. But they didn’t do that.
That said however, the next line is THE most telling –
We do not maintain that we or anyone else have all the answers to take action now.
I’m sorry, but if you plan on supporting legislation that has the potential to put 2.5 million American people out of work per year, I think that you have an obligation to know all the answers before voting on said legislation. But then again we ARE talking about a process that allows the bill’s manager to submit an amendment to the bill in excess of 300 pages at 3:09am the day of the vote.
Instead of releasing this report before the vote on the Cap and Tax scheme proposed by the President and authored by Waxman, Pelosi, et al, the EPA failed to protect the American people in favor of a political agenda regardless of the science involved.
The report goes on to state in the Executive Summery …
The current TSD is based largely on the IPCC AR4 report, which is at best three years out of date in a rapidly changing field. There have been important developments in areas that deserve careful attention in this draft. The list includes the following five:
Global temperatures have declined – extending the current downtrend to 11 years with a particularly rapid decline in 1907-08 (I believe this was supposed to be dated 2007-08); in addition, the PDO went negative in September, 2007 and the AMO in January, 2009, respectively. At the same time atmospheric CO2 levels have continued to increase and CO2 emissions have accelerated.
The consensus on past, present, and future Atlantic hurricane behavior has changed. Initially, it tilted towards the idea that anthropogenic global warming is leading to (and will lead to) to more frequent and intense storms. Now the consensus is much more neutral, arguing that future Atlantic tropical cyclones will be little different that those in the past.
The idea that the warming temperatures will cause Greenland to rapidly shed its ice has been greatly diminished by new results indicating little evidence for the operation of such processes.
One of the worst economic recessions since World War II has greatly decreased GHG emissions compared to the assumptions made by the IPCC. To the extent that ambient GHG levels are relevant for future global temperatures, these emission reductions should greatly influence the adverse effects of these emissions on public health and welfare. The current draft TSP does not reflect the changes that have already occurred nor those that are likely to occur in the future as a result of the recession. In fact, the topic is not even discussed to our knowledge.
A new 2009 paper finds that the crucial assumption in the GCM models used by the IPCC concerning stongly positive feedback from water vapor is not supported by empirical evidence and that the feedback is actually negative.
A new 2009 paper by Scafetta and West suggests that the IPCC used faulty solar data in dismissing the direct effect of solar variability on global temperatures. Their research suggest that solar variability could account for up to 68% of the increase in the Earth’s global temperatures.
These six developments alone should greatly influence any assessment of “vulnerability, risk, and impacts” of climate change within the U.S. But these are just a few of the new developments since 2006. Therefore, the extensive portions of the EPA’s Endangerment TSD which are based on the old science are no longer appropriate and need to be revisited before a new TSD is issued for comments.
This document is an indictment of the EPA’s complicity in the global conspiracy known as anthropogenic global climate change or as I refer to it as – The Church of Global Warming of Modern Day Idiots.
Failure to release this document prior to the US House vote on Friday for the members to digest prior to voting on legislation which has the potential to destroy the lives of nearly 310 million people borders on the criminal. It is my wish that those within the agency responsible for the suppression of this document to be brought to public light and charged in the court of public opinion.
However, knowing what we know about the current Presidential Infestation, they would more likely get a medal by the Commander-in-Thief.

June 27, 2009 | House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) | Permalink
The American people deserve to know what’s in the legislation their representatives in Congress are voting on. That was the fundamental principle behind House Republican Leader John Boehner’s (R-OH) hour-long speech on the floor of the House last night, in which he read portions of a 300-plus page amendment Democrats added in the dark of night to Speaker Pelosi’s already 1,200-page national energy tax legislation. The legislation is going to raise electricity prices, increase gasoline prices, and ship American jobs overseas to countries like China and India. It also will be a bureaucratic nightmare overseen by a confusing web of government agencies that will take and redistribute trillions of dollars from family budgets and workers’ payrolls. Following is just a sampling of the national media’s coverage of Boehner’s unprecedented speech – and the House GOP’s stand against the Democrats’ costly, jobs-killing national energy tax:
Buffalo News: “Rep. John Boehner, the House Republican leader, used an extraordinary one-hour speech shortly before the final vote to warn of unintended consequences in what he said was a ‘defining bill.’ He called it a ‘bureaucratic nightmare’ that would cost jobs, depress real estate prices and put the government into parts of the economy where it now has no role.”
Associated Press: “‘But when you file a 300-page amendment at 3:09 a.m., the American people have a right to know what’s in this bill,’ [Boehner] intoned.”
Reuters: “House Republican leader John Boehner called the measure ‘the biggest job-killing bill that has ever been on the floor of the House of Representatives.’”
Washington Post: “And then came the fili-Boehner. House tradition allows the speaker, the majority leader and the minority leader to ignore the usual time limits on floor speeches. So, at the end of four hours of debate, Boehner opened a binder containing the 300-page amendment. ‘Don’t you think the American people expect us to understand what’s in this bill before we vote on it?’ Boehner said, to cheers from Republicans. He read numerous passages – highlighting items such as credits for Fannie Mae-financed efficiency measures and plans for grants to study consumer behavior on energy use – and offered critiques.”
Politico: “‘This is the biggest job killing bill that’s ever been on the floor of the House of Representatives. Right here, this bill,’ said House Minority Leader John Boehner. ‘And I don’t think that’s what the American people want.’ Donning reading glasses, Boehner then delayed the roll call vote by reading page-by-page through a 300-page managers’ amendment Democrats added at around 3 a.m. on Friday. Boehner seemed to relish the hour-long stunt, picking out the bill’s most obscure language and then pontificating about what it might – or might not – mean. Republicans laughed along with him and roared with applause when he was done.”
San Francisco Chronicle: “Republican leader John Boehner of Ohio [used] his privileges as a leader to spend more than an hour ridiculing page after page of the bill and delaying the final vote until well into the evening.”
Wall Street Journal: “House Minority Leader John Boehner lambasted the Democratic bill for more than an hour Friday evening before the final vote. He mocked provisions covering everything from energy-efficient loan standards for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to the definition of ‘renewable biomass’ to the establishment of ‘green’ banking centers. “Is there anything we’re not regulating in this bill?’ he said.”
Dow Jones: “Republicans warn it could cripple the economy. ‘This is a tax on anyone who drives a car, buys an American-made product, or flips on a light switch,’ said Minority Leader John Boehner, R-Ohio. ‘It will drive up energy costs and send millions of American jobs to countries like China and India, and place a real heavy burden on rural Americans.’”
Fox News: “Filibusters are not allowed in the House. They’re a province of the Senate. But House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) may have figured out a way to get around that prohibition Friday as the House inched closer to voting on a controversial energy and climate change bill. Overnight, House Democrats tacked onto the bill a 300-page amendment. So when Boehner took his time to speak against the package at the end of the debate, the Ohio Republican then decided to peel through major portions of the bill and read them aloud before his House colleagues. ‘Is there anything we aren’t regulating in this bill?’ Boehner asked, leafing through the pages. He wondered if the community group ACORN qualified for certain grants. He asked why an energy and climate bill was ‘trying to solve the problems with Fannie (Mae) and Freddie (Mac).’”

John Boehner represents Ohio’s 8th District, which includes all of Darke, Miami and Preble counties, most of Butler and Mercer counties, and the northeastern corner of Montgomery County. He was first elected to Congress in 1990.
… Two top GOP contenders for 2012 face personal scandal but who, if anyone, will be the most likely contender to unseat the Man with the Middle Name Hussein? Stay tuned to ‘As The GOP Searches’.
Here are a few things that I do know about the NEEDED candidate for 2012. He (or She) will have to be a fiscal Conservative. First there was Bush who, in the aftermath of September 11th, shed any semblance of fiscal conservatism and began to spend like a Democrat. He failed to reign in spending through his veto pen and allowed the federal government to grow.
Then, in their infinite stupidity, the American people saw fit to follow a spender with an even bigger spender. Barack (Barry) Hussein Obama is spending money like a horn-dog in a strip club. He’s bleeding money out of the private sector at a rate that is unsustainable. As he makes claim after claim that his agenda is geared to create jobs, the states are hemorrhaging jobs daily. The national unemployment rate is nearing 10% and many states like Ohio and Michigan have long since passed that mark.
Yesterday, the US House passed his ‘Cap and Tax’ plan which will shed millions of additional jobs from our economy and raise the cost of living on EVERY SINGLE AMERICAN HOUSEHOLD. So much for only raising taxes on the rich and giving 95% of Americans a tax cut huh Mr. President?!? If this guy had a brain he’d simply be stupid but as he is he’s more dangerous than Kim Jong Mentally Ill, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and even Osama bin Laden.
The man (or woman) that is chosen to replace this destructive “person” (for the lack of a better word) will definitely have to have the knowledge and capability to turn around all of Obama’s harmful initiatives. But who will that be? Your guess is as good as mine.
If America learned anything from the GOP primary in 2008, Mitt Romney has the ability to make lemonade out of lemons. Obama is leaving the American people will little more than said lemons. I would not be surprised in Mr. Romney is called on by the American people to pick up the pieces left by this living, breathing, example of the accuracy of the Peter Principle. Would you?
Peter Principle - Theory that people rise in their career in every hierarchy to the level of their own incompetence; based on the book The Peter Principle and Why Things Always Go Wrong by Lawrence J. Peter. Work in organizations is accomplished by those employees who have not yet reached their level of incompetence. SOURCE
All this being true, the GOP should not be engaged in 2012 speculation. Now, it should be concentrating on taking back a majority in both houses of Congress. After yesterday’s vote in the House on ‘Cap and Tax’, both houses are poised for a dramatic shift. 43 Democrat members of Congress helped secure their re-election possibilities while 8 so-called Republicans shot theirs all to hell. Knowing that had these 8 turn-coats held the line, ‘Cap and Tax’ would have failed the American people may not be willing to forgive those who turned their backs on them. Let us hope not anyway.
In 2010, any Republican who has sided with SanFranNan at any time during this session of Congress should be called out and held accountable by the Party and the People.
The US House of Representatives ignored the American people today and voted 219 – 212 to pass THE largest tax increase in American history. Let’s not mince words. If enacted, this national energy bill will do nothing to spark job creation in the midst of the most punishing recession in more than a generation. On the contrary. It would install massive taxes on the middle class and the poor, put millions out of work, and shift those jobs over-seas where these punitive taxes aren’t imposed. It will do nothing to stem greenhouse gas emissions because these companies will out-source operations to nations which have no emission standards at all. In other words, the United States House of Representatives approved a bill which will shift the US economy (what’s left of it) to India and China.
In all, eight Republicans turned their backs on the American people and sided with the Democrat leadership. They are…
Reichert-Washington–8th District
Bono-California–45th District
Castle-Delaware–
Kirk-Illinois–10th District
Lance-New Jersey–7th District (who has a whole section on his website on how to reduce gas prices!!)
LoBiondo-New Jersey–2nd District
McHugh-New York–23rd District
Smith-New Jersey–4th District
The good news is – and yes there is some (very little but some) good news – 43 Democrats voted against this bill including one of THE most liberal on the Hill. And they are…
Altmire-Pennsylvania
Arcuri-New York
Barrow-Georgia
Berry-Arkansas
Boren-Oklahoma
Bright-Alabama
Carney-Pennsylvania
Childers-Mississippi
Costa-California
Costello-Illinois
Dahlkemper-Pennsylvania

Pomeroy-North Dakota
Rahall-West Virginia
Rodriguez-Texas
Ross-Arkansas
Salazar-Colorado
Stark-California
Tanner-Tennessee
Taylor-Mississippi
Visclosky-Indiana
Wilson-Ohio
The big surprise was Kucinich.
I didn’t think Denny had a brain cell still alive but he has surprised me with his sudden exhibition of lucidity. Way to go Denny.
Let’s face it folks, these 43 Democrats are all up for re-election next year and they don’t want this one bill to sink their chances for re-election. Most of these Dems are from heartland states. States where electricity is delivered via coal fired plans. To vote for this tax would be political suicide for these guys and they know it. What surprises me is that 219 members of Congress who voted for this bill are also up for re-election. And I hope that the people know what they’ve done. Especially those 8 so-called Republicans.
With out these 8 defectors, this bill would have been defeated 220 -211. Their constituents need to hold them accountable. If there is any justice in the world, these 8 will be defeated in next year’s primaries. I certainly hope that there are some prospective candidates in these districts waiting to defeat them – because they will.
Now Cap and Tax moves on to the US Senate where all it will take is enough defections to prevent cloture. Unless Obama and Reid conspire to bypass Senate rules. In which case, if enough Democrats defect as the above 43 have, a simple majority may not be possible.
Let the lobbying of the Senate begin.

House Democrats didn’t want the American people to understand the true impact of Speaker Pelosi’s 1,500-page national energy tax. So House Republican Leader John Boehner took to the House floor and read portions of it to the American people, explaining how it would to raise electricity prices, increase gasoline prices, and ship American jobs overseas to countries like China and India. House Democrats didn’t much like it either, and they tried to shut him down. See what Leader Boehner told House Energy & Commerce Committee Chairman Henry Waxman (D-CA) here:
WAXMAN: I know it’s the custom of the House to give a little extra latitude, is there any outside limit to the amount of time a leader might take? And do we have historical records that might be broken tonight? Or is this an attempt to get some people to leave on a close vote?
CHAIR: The custom of the House is to listen to the Leader’s comments.
BOEHNER: Reclaiming my time. The gentleman has had his 30 years to put this bill together and the House is going to spend a whopping five hours debating the most profound piece of legislation to come to this floor in a hundred years. And the Chairman has the audacity to drop a 300-plus page amendment in the hopper at 3:09 AM this morning, so I would ask my colleagues: Don’t you think the American people expect us to understand what’s in the bill before we vote on it?

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman John Boehner (R-West Chester) issued the following statement today regarding Vice President Biden’s visit to the economically hard-hit Toledo during the same week in which congressional Democrats plan to bring a devastating national energy tax for a vote in the U.S. House that could destroy American manufacturing jobs:
“Vice President Biden’s trip to an area of Ohio that’s been devastated by job losses the same week that congressional Democrats plan to bring a national energy tax up for a vote proves that the Administration and Speaker Pelosi’s House are both sadly out of touch with the American people. The new energy tax is a massive job-killer that will hit Ohio during one of its worst times. With unemployment at a record-breaking 10.8 percent and the state hemorrhaging jobs, the Vice President should tell Ohioans how the Administration plans to stimulate the private sector to create jobs instead of making the federal government bigger and more intrusive.”
NOTE: Vice President Biden is traveling to Toledo for a meeting of the White House Task Force on Middle Class Families. The theme of the meeting is “Promoting American Manufacturing in the 21st Century.” An analysis by the National Black Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) shows that Democrats’ new national energy tax will cost 2.5 million jobs and force consumers, small businesses and other employers to pay higher energy costs. An analysis by U.S. House Agriculture Committee Republicans indicates that ratepayers in the 92 rural electric co-ops in Ohio will pay $37 million more for electricity during the first year of Democrats’ national energy tax; ratepayers in the four rural electric co-ops in Ohio’s 8th Congressional District will pay $2.3 million more in that first year.

The man with no substance, ‘THE ONE’ proclaimed by his rabid supporters during the campaign, may be in store for a HUGE emotional breakdown when the White House explains today’s numbers out of Rasmussen.
It is no secret that when Obama took office in January his approval rating was a lofty 65%. It is understandable that his numbers would drop. That said however, we are talking about a man who crafts his well prepared teleprompter delivered speeches to speak directly to a specific audience each time he speaks. He now has to speak to everybody in the nation at the same time and his campaign tactic no longer works. Each time he speaks he runs the risk of alienating a supporter. And his numbers reflect that.
Rasmussen Reports has as part of its daily tracking poll what they term as a “Presidential Approval Index”. Their explanation of how that works is as follows…
The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve. It is updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern…
So, they take his strongly approve numbers and subtract his strongly disapprove numbers and that reflects his “Presidential Approval Index”. Simple enough if you ask me. But what is today’s “Presidential Approval Index” for Obama? It’s 0.
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 33% of the nation’s voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-three percent (33%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of 0 (see trends).
Contributing to Mr. Obama’s failing numbers is the public’s growing understanding that Mr. Bush isn’t to blame for current conditions. The economy is worse and no matter how much he wants to shift the blame for the worsening economy since January 20th on Bush, he cannot. The people are wise.
It wasn’t George W. Bush who pushed through the $800 billion stimulus which isn’t stimulating anything but pork projects. The stimulus was billed as creating or saving hundreds of thousands of jobs. In reality, more people are out of work since the stimulus than prior to its passage. And the people see that.
What the people also know is that you cannot replace a long-term job making anywhere from $20 – $45 an hour with a short-term road project that will eventually end. At some point that road will be complete and the worker will be back in the unemployment line.
Although Rasmussen’s numbers are low, the telling numbers are coming from Gallup. Gallup’s models are a bit higher than Rasmusssen’s and always have been. The latest numbers are from yesterday’s daily tracker (because today’s won’t be released for another 3 hours). Gallup has Mr. Obama plummeting at a faster pace. Faster in that Obama held onto his lofty numbers according to Gallup’s model a bit longer than in Rasmussen’s.
The most telling of these numbers are the ones on economic outlook. I think that it is significant that 59% of the people polled believe that conditions are getting worse. This is a number that the President cannot shift to his predecessor. He’s worn-out that old chestnut.
If the Man with the Middle Name Hussein’s numbers continue their free-fall, White House Chief of Staff (aka the Man In the Yellow Hat) Rham Emanuel might have to summon a team of Psychiatrists to monitor the egomaniac President. His shoe laces and belt may need to be taken from him. I wonder if the cables to his beloved teleprompter would be as well?
There are people protesting and dying in the streets because they are protesting a rigged election by the thug rulers of Iran. Neda Soltan, standing with her father on the side of the street watching the protests, was shot and killed by Iranian snipers and yet Barack Obama remains silent. No voice of support to the Iranian people in their struggle. Instead, Obama takes his girls to Alexandria for frozen custard.
We don’t have a paper tiger for a President. No – he’s more like a paper lapdog. A lapdog for anyone who has ever expressed displeasure for the United States. His lack of any statement in support of the struggling Iranian people is bordering on criminal. And shall I suggest, a dereliction of duty.
This my friends is the face of the Iranian struggle of 2009…
Rest In Peace – because you weren’t allowed to have any in life.
President Obama reassured a packed house at Cairo University today that the United States is not at war with Mosquitoes.
“There are millions of mosquitoes in America,” said the President, “They are peaceful insects. We have a responsibility not to let the radical views of a few extremist, neck-biting mosquitoes stop progress towards meaningful dialogue.”
The President went on to praise the contributions of mosquitoes to world history and present society.
“Mosquitoes are in part responsible for much of our intellectual advancement over the years,” said Obama, “It was mosquitoes who started the renaissance. It was mosquitoes who brought us the internal combustion engine. It was mosquitoes who crammed aboard the Nina, the Pinta and the Santa Maria to help trail-blaze the foundation of my great country.”
The President also touched on his personal history and connection to mosquitoes.
“Indeed, I descend partly from mosquitoes,” said Obama, “Although I am an endoskeletal being, I cannot forget my origins. Nor can I forget the time I spent in Indonesia, when at the crack of dawn, I heard the familiar buzzing of my mosquito brethren, deeply engaged in their trademark meditations before the daily food procurement.”
An attempt was also made to build an understanding of the history Americans have had with mosquitoes.
“I don’t want mosquitoes to shape their opinions of Americans by the acts of people still sore over malaria and Asiatic flu,” said Obama, “It caused us to do things that we shouldn’t have done. We committed certain atrocities with DDT and rolled-up newspapers. We have eliminated DDT and we are committed to eliminating rolled-up newspapers. In fact, we are trying to eliminate newspapers altogether.”
The President said he looked forward to peace.
“I look forward to peace,” said the President, “That means that both sides will have to be frank and make real concessions. Mosquitoes will have to recognize the rights of mammals to keep blood inside of their bodies. Mammals will have to cut off eight of their fingers and give them to the mosquitoes who so desperately need severed fingers. Until these goals are met, peace is but a dream.”
Finally, the President started throwing money at all of the mosquitoes in attendance.
“Here, have some cash,” said the President, “We’re also going to chip in several billion dollars to help with all your humanitarian causes. We’ve got money to put into your education system, your infrastructure, your security, and those lead-lined proboscises you wanted to help accomplish some goal I don’t quite understand. Take the money. We’ve got tons of it. We printed it ourselves.”
Americans and mosquitoes hailed Obama’s speech as something that needed to be said in order to ease tensions between mosquitoes and mammals.
“I’m so glad the President gave this speech,” said Sally Wainwright of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, “Now mosquitoes are going to start being nice to us. I think I’m going to hug the next one I see!”
