Obama Declares War on Matt Drudge
Instead of owning-up to your own words what do you do as President when you are caught in a lie? That’s right. You go on the offensive and claim that the words you’ve chosen in the past were “taken out of context”.
From Yahoo News:
The White House is turning to the Internet to hit back at a Web posting that claims to show President Barack Obama explaining how his health care reform plans eventually would eliminate private insurance.
The three-minute White House video features Linda Douglass, a former network television correspondent and now White House Office of Health Reform communications director, sitting in front of a computer screen showing the Drudge Report Web site. That site carries a series of video clips from another blogger who strings together selected Obama statements on health care to make it appear he wants to eliminate the private health insurance business.
In the video Douglas says the site is “taking sentences and phrases out of context, and they’re cobbling them together to leave a very false impression.” – Associated Press
The White House is now taking on Matt Drudge over his site’s listing of a link that leads to a video in which Mr. Obama uses words like…
“I don’t think we can eliminate employer coverage immediately. There’s going to be potentially some transition process, I can envision a decade out or 15 years out or 20 years out.”
He says that he “don’t think we can eliminate employer coverage immediately” so mater-of-factly that it seems impossible to me for it to be taken out of context. It sounds and reads to me as if this is his goal but it’s accomplishment will take some time to implement. He also says…
” I happen to be a proponent of single-payer universal health care. A single payer universal health care plan, that’s what I’d like to see.”
Now how can it be argued that Mr. Obama’s words are being twisted and used out of context when these are his exact words that he chose to use before one of his largest political supporters? You know, one of those special interests that he claimed that he was going to stand up to in Washington but in reality is nothing more than a lap-dog for.
No – the tactic is lie and deny. The words are his. The voice on the video is his. They are in context no matter what his former “journalist” mouth piece says. But of course the AP had to be all over it.
I have noticed ever since his mythical story book campaign that unless you are frothing at the mouth to become Herr Obama’s Ministry of Propaganda, ‘The Chosen One’ refuses to give your outlet any play. As-a-matter-of-fact, he tends to take you on.
Matt Drudge dared to print a link to video that calls him out on one of his lies directly therefore Matt Drudge is an enemy of the current White House. FoxNews flat out refuses to be in lust with him so they get no interviews. He’s called out Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity on several occasions because they dare to challenge him on his worn out socialist ideas. Ideas which have failed miserably every time they have ever been attempted.
I thought the turd was supposed to be “progressive”. There is nothing “progressive” about parading out tired old Karl Marx mid-19th century ideas that fail. Liberals should call themselves “regressives” because they regress back to 1860’s Germany and 1917 Russia for their “progressive” ideas.
Oh please Mr. Obama, put me on your enemies list because I don’t want to be seen in history as ever supporting your failure.
[UPDATE 1429]
Unedited Video of Obama’s Single-Payer Dream from 2003…
It has been pointed out that the White House wants you to inform on people like me who oppose this socialist health care scheme.
From the White House website…
There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.
We’ve been telling you that Obama more resembles Hitler than any “fascist right winger” in history. My question is now, who is Obama’s Himmler? They have the system in place for citizens to inform on other citizens as happened in 1930’s and 1940’s Nazi Germany. So who is their Himmler?

Oh I hope I end up on the White House “enemies list”. It would be a source of pride for me.
