December 21, 2009 Marks The Death of the Constitution

The title of this post may be a bit dramatic but it is none-the-less accurate as hell. Never before in the history of the Republic has one single piece of legislation been so damaging to our way of life as the Reid Death Care bill. In approximately 20 minutes (from the time of this writing) the US Senate will vote to end debate on a bill which violates the United States Constitution in a manner so blatant that those who are passing it don’t even deny. No where in the 7 Articles or 27 Amendments does the Constitution grant the authority to oversee or regulate the health care industry to the federal government, but yet, the United States Senate is voting to expand the reach of the federal government to do just that. This my friends is a clear violation of Amendment X.

The powers not granted to the federal government by the Constitution nor prohibited by it to the states are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.

In as much as the United States Supreme Court dealt the Constitution a near fatal blow in 1972 with the Roe v Wade decision (another Unconstitutional encroachment), this bill represents the end of this Republic.

Since it is obvious that those running the show in this country are so fundamentally opposed to what Americanism is that their goal (according to the President) is to “fundamentally transform Amerika” perhaps we should call this relationship at an end. Tonight’s actions may have done just that.

I predict that Texas is going to have a population boon.
