Reid Must Stay! At Least Until November Anyway

These comments will continue to be a liability for Reid going forward toward November 4th. Unless he announces his retirement, which is probably the only way that his Party has a shot at retaining his seat, he is doomed to lose anyway. The question is, how many can he take with him?

Pressure from non-elected officials needs to press his insensitive comments so they are not lost in the fast-food attention span of the American public’s political ADD. Those running against Democrat incumbents need to use Reid’s comments and the incumbent’s associations with Reid to political advantage. Reid made shady deals with several Senators to gain cloture for the Senate Death Care bill that he wrote. That ties every single Democrat Senator to Harry Reid and they will not be able to shake the association if we continue to press it.

As Michael Medved put it in his most recent article up at Townhall…

Harry Reid is such an incomparably inept boob, such an easy target for ridicule and criticism, that his withdrawal from the upcoming battles might actually dim Republican prospects.

It is precisely these unshakable associations with this “incomparably inept boob” that will benefit Republicans and introduce enough Senators to an early retirement that makes it worth while to keep him in his place until he is forcibly removed by the voters of Nevada on November 4th.

Personally I don’t give a rat’s ass what that narcoleptic imbecile had to say about Obama in 2008. I don’t care because this nation is too sensitive to non-issues that they lose track of what truly does matter. For example, this Harry Reid smoke screen could actually be defusing Obama’s failures by shifting the focus of the main slime media from what really matters. The economy, war in Afghanistan, the Obama Infestation’s moronic idea to try foreign terrorists captured on the field of battle (legal combatants or not) in civilian courts, unemployment, and his insistence on passing legislation that the American people neither favor or want (Death Care, Cap and Tax, and the Porkulus) for instance.

So let’s keep Sleeping Pill Harry where he is for now. He is pushing Obama’s ultra ~~liberal~~ progressive agenda therefore he’s tied those unpopular decisions like an anchor. And the more he takes to the bottom of the political sea the better it will be for America.

How Safe Are We? Really?

Since the 2006 midterm elections, the leftist political hacks of the Democrat Party made it their goal to do whatever necessary to grab control of the nation from Republicans. This involved a massive campaign that actually began with the news media. It is no secret that the media has been in the pocket of the Democrats for decades. Objectivity went out the window when Walter Cronkite made his famous declaration that the war in Vietnam was lost in 1968.

The American public began to have their opinions about the Bush Administration altered by the news media in 2003 when the bodies of American soldiers who just captured the entire nation of Iraq began to come home. Once the war shifted from a military on military operation to an insurgency suppression mission, the bodies began to pile up and the American public’s stomach for war had turned. The news media began to beat a steady anti-war, anti-Bush drumbeat that culminated in Democrat victories in 2006 and 2008. Their only real battle cry to win popular support? We aren’t Bush.

Well they certainly aren’t Bush. Bush for all his faults did do something right. After we were attacked on September 11, 2001 he took the fight to the enemy. He picked the battlefield and our troops were the only Americans in harm’s way. Our honorable troops. The best trained and best equipped fighting force this planet has ever seen kept us safe at home by confronting the enemy on soil that he claims is his. And because of this, no successful attacks on US soil were able to be carried out.

Fast forward to 2008. Barack Hussein Obama ran on a platform of fancy rhetoric and platitudes that boiled down to one simple message. “I’m not Bush.” Due to the American public’s fatigue of the the Bush Administration largely due to the aforementioned drum beating of the liberal press that the Bush Administration didn’t seem to wish to counter, Barack Hussein Obama won the election and the Democrat Party gain a larger majority in both the House and Senate after having a 2-year majority where nothing got done.

The young new inexperience President decided that a naive apologetic approach was a way to subdue the world’s anti-American sentiment. He reach out with olive branch diplomacy* which only resulted in the President of Iran laughing at his gesture. Attacks against US interests abroad increased and the situation in Afghanistan worsened. Worst of all, 3 separate attacks have been either attempted or carried out on US soil in 2009 alone.

Say what you want about George W. Bush, but his policies did keep us safe for nearly 8 years. Those of us on the right have our own issues with Bush’s brand of social liberalism and fiscal irresponsibility but on terrorism, he knew what to do. The boy President (and aspiring Emperor of the World) hasn’t a clue. We see this when his Infestation makes statements that they later have to retract because he himself says, “we screwed up.”

Many are calling for heads to roll and to be honest, a few should. But not solely due to the failures of the past couple of weeks. Some of these characters are in positions that they are ill-equipped to handle. Including the President himself.

Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano is a complete and utter disaster as head of Homeland Security. Early in this Infestation she made declarations about the war on terrorism that a 5-year old child would call naive. The worst of which was re-naming terrorist attacks “man made disasters”. What?!? If anything is a “man made disaster” it is the Department of Homeland Security under this President and Janet Napolitano.

Another example of her incompetence is declaring that returning veterans and those who oppose the socialist agenda of this President to be domestic terrorists giving the illusion that if you oppose this socialist take over of our country you are worse than those who fly planes into skyscrapers. I’m sorry Janet, but that level of incompetence is what led to the death of an Army Recruiter in Little Rock, AR and the deaths of 13 people at Fr. Hood.

Should heads roll? Damn skippy! Let’s first start with Napolitano. How about Hillary Clinton? The State Department under her watch issued a visa to the panty bomber. How about Leon Penetta? The CIA under his watch failed to identify this guy. What about Michael Leiter who was skiing? If he must go so should Obama. After-all, Leiter didn’t do anything that the President wasn’t doing.

After the incident, Obama played 3 rounds of golf and didn’t say anything about it for 3 days. Talk about failure to perform the duties for which you were elected. Problem is, if Obama goes, we get stuck with that insanely ignorant Joe Biden. A man that couldn’t even win his own state’s primary. Do you think the people of Delaware know something about Big Mouth Joe?

So how safe are we? Under this President, we aren’t. We have in excess of 5,000 miles of largely unguarded boarder. The Infestation is more interested in monitoring Glenn Beck than Islamic Terrorists. Every time this Infestation makes explanations about what happened, they reveal more weaknesses in our system to our enemies.

Others that need to go…

Tim Geithner. How does a tax cheat get to become the head of the Fed in New York let alone Treasury Secretary?
Eric Holder. Anyone who would treat illegal enemy combatants as if they were defendants in a criminal proceeding is a fraud.

What about some in Congress?

Charlie Rangle. Again, how does a tax cheat end up writing tax law?
Christopher Dodd. Countrywide and connections with AIG not to mention an incident involving his best buddy Teddy Kennedy and a “waitress sandwich”? Should we wait for his retirement? He should be run out of the country on a rail.

I could go on but I’m approaching 1,000 words now. But I have 2 final questions before I go.

Obama’s Delay Is Turning Afghanistan Into A Quagmire

On the campaign trail, candidate Obama famously called Afghanistan the “good war”. But the truth of the matter, Afghanistan was the stagnant war. The enemy shifted its focus to Iraq because that is where we chose to fight. The Taliban and al Qaeda where chased out of Afghanistan and into Pakistan and needed to be regrouped. So they called on Islamic “freedom fighters” to engage the mean old United States in its war against Islam in Iraq. Iraq for all the left’s bitching was the front line of the Global War on Terrorism.

Now that the Islamofascists have had their collective asses handed to them in Iraq, the newly reorganized al Qaeda and Taliban are beginning to fight back in Afghanistan. Now that Iraq has been largely turned over to the Iraqis (prematurely or not) US forces are now needed in mass in Afghanistan or all will be lost.

The President hand picked his own commander in Afghanistan. He just happens to be the man who got Saddam Hussein back in 2003. However when his commander asked for an Afghanistan “Surge” as General David Patreus had in Iraq, our paper President is indecisive and soldiers on the ground are dying.

Let me remind you that Obama called Afghanistan the “good war”. Promised to take the fight to Afghanistan. In the grand old tradition of the left during the Bush years, it seems that Obama lied and people are dying.

His indecision has led to a massive increase in the number of casualties.

From My Way News – US forces leave isolated Afghan base after attack

U.S. forces have withdrawn from an isolated base in eastern Afghanistan that insurgents attacked last week in one of the deadliest battles of the war for U.S. troops, the NATO-led coalition said Friday.

The pullout from the Kamdesh outpost near the Pakistani border is likely to embolden insurgent fighters in the region. The Taliban swiftly claimed “victory” for forcing the coalition to leave and said they had raised their flag above the town.

Now in all fairness the withdrawal was planned however, if the President wasn’t dragging his feet about increasing the number of ground troops in Afghanistan, perhaps the pull-out would not have been necessary at all. But Obama, like most Democrat Presidents since the end of World War II is indecisive. He would rather micro-manage from Washington than commit to winning the war on the battlefield using the best information possible – his commanders on the ground. This concern for not losing a battle tends to lead to drawn out conflicts.

Examples – Harry Truman’s inability to win in Korea led to years of stalemate and hundreds of thousands of dead and wounded because the President couldn’t pull the trigger. LBJ’s micro-managing of Vietnam led to hundreds of thousands of names on a granite wall in Arlington, Virginia.

The longer Obama stalls on an Afghan Surge, the more bodies will be coming home either mangled or in bags. This is the stuff that quagmires are made of.

Barack Obama we are told is a smart man. He attended Columbia University and Harvard Law. He lectured Constitutional law at the University of Chicago, but does any of this qualify him to be Commander-in-Chief? The short answer is no. The next question is, why was he elected?

Obama Continues To Reiterate His Weakness to the Muslim World

Immediately after winning the election, Obamaramadingdong signaled his willingness to open dialog with Iran after decades of silence. The Iranians answered with contempt at the President Elect.

Immediately after taking office, Obamaramadingdong sent a note to the Iranian leadership expressing a willingness to ease the tensions between our nations which was answered by ridicule and observations of American weakness under the Obama Infestation.

So what does that Obamaramadingdong do next? He sends a VIDEO to Iranian leadership to which they have replied…

Khamenei’s initial response was not encouraging, but U.S. officials and European diplomats noted that the Iranian leader did not rule out a future breakthrough. A familiar chant of “Death to America” echoed around a religious shrine in the northeastern city of Mashhad as Khamenei complained that Obama had “insulted the Islamic republic of Iran from the first day.”

He added: “If you are right that change has come, where is that change? Make it clear for us what has changed.”

His remarks came as a nuclear powered U.S. submarine — the USS Hartford — collided at sea with an amphibious vessel, the USS New Orleans, off the Straits of Hormuz. Fifteen sailors were injured, but the submarine’s atomic propulsion system was undamaged.

The Iranian leader’s comments followed a striking attempt by Obama to break the deadlock with the country. The president marked the beginning of the Persian new year with conciliatory remarks intended to establish a new commitment to diplomacy after years of bellicose exchanges between Tehran and the administration of former President George W. Bush.

In the video — subtitled in Farsi — Obama pledged to pursue “constructive ties.” The president noted that the process would “not be advanced by threats,” and referred to Iran as an “Islamic republic,” signalling his readiness to deal with the current religious leadership. SOURCE

Einstein said of insanity – “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” So what is Obamaramadingdong trying to prove by repeating the same redundant tactic over and over?

Obamaramadingdong is one of these types that cannot understand why people don’t think the way that he does. He was raised with an idea that America is the ultimate evil in the world and if WE ‘change’ the world will ‘change’ in turn. He thinks that the American people ushered in ‘change’ by his election. That is the only ‘change’ ever promised by him. The election of an African-American is the only positive ‘change’ that you are entitled to.

The theme of his Olive Branch Diplomacy* is, “America has ‘changed’ as evidenced by the election of Me, the Messiah, the first African-American (non-white) to the Presidency. That should be the only proof you need to prove that we have ‘changed’.” His repeated efforts to send this message to the deaf ears of the Iranian Mullahs is proof, if Einstein was correct, that Obamaramadingdong is – in fact – INSANE.

There exists only two (that’s 2 for you morons who voted for this imbecile) ways that the United States and Iran can ever not be adversarial. The first is submission by the United States to Islam as a theocratic philosophy and joining in the Islamic Caliphate that is coming. OR the second, complete military defeat of Iran and all other Islamic theocracies.

Islamic theocratic nations are never going to submit to a world order which brings about the Kumbaya socialist fantasy of the left. There will never be peace in the Middle-East as long as Islam is permitted to control nations. That said however, there is a complete lack of willingness among the nations of the world to rid our planet of Islamic theocracies.

Radical Islam’s war of fear on the world is in fact – succeeding. As long as we give them legitimacy, they will continue to spread their message of hate. It is embedded in western society whether you want to admit it or not – it IS here.

The first step in countering this covert invasion is to counter it EVERYWHERE not just on the battlefield. Obama in his arrogant socialism doesn’t see a problem. Buddy up to them and perhaps they won’t destroy us. This is a mistake. It is weakness and the Mullahs of Iran and radical Sheiks will exploit this weakness.

Putting this weakness out for the world to see openly is a mistake that Obama is using to destroy everything American. It is embedded in his programming. Yes I said programming.

Obama is the Manchurian Candidate among us. His programming started at infancy by his beloved Mommy and her openly socialist parents. It grew under their tutelage and matured under the influence of Frank Marshall Davis. Obama sees his election as an endorsement of the nation that now is the time for socialism. And the Politically Apathetic American Lemmings who voted for this turd made it possible.

Combining his openly socialist upbringing with the ultra leftist bent under which the House of Representatives is run – the United Socialist States of American is in the birthing stage of labor. It is during this birthing stage when radical Islam has its opening to exploit the chaos created by the radical ‘change’ of the leftists and now they can worm their way into control. Obama is weak and his politics are making We The People weaker. And the Main Stream Media is turning a blind eye to what he was, is, and becoming.

What?!? Obama Affirms Detainees in Afganistan Have No Constitutional Rights?!?

THE CHOSEN ONE – THE MESSIAH – THE SAVIOR OF THE HUMAN RACE – the man who campaigned on being the anti-Bush is affirming a Bush Administration policy denying Constitutional rights to detainees being held at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan. It seems the view from the other side of the fence is a lot clearer than the one he had from the cheap seats as the Junior Senator from Illinois. He now suddenly realizes that individuals sworn to destroy all things American including our Constitution being held outside the borders of our nation are not protected by our founding document. Why then close Gitmo?

In a related story posted on FoxNews.com, a report prepared by Adm. Patrick M. Walsh to POTUS Barry Obamaramadingdong concludes that detainees being held at the terrorist detention center Guantanamo Bay Cuba are being treated humanely. This is a stark contrast to the picture that candidate Obama painted of US treatment of these same terrorists at this same detention facility during the ‘08 campaign.

These two stories represent evidence that the American people have bought a bill of goods sold to them, not by the Obamassiah, but the media who hand picked Obama as their candidate. The media’s role in selling Gitmo as a den of torture led to public outcry that Obama then fed upon to draw votes. As I stated above, he is now in a position to see the truth and is in fact agreeing with Bush Administration policies governing these facilities.

Perhaps, we should transfer the campers at the Guantanamo Bay resort and recreation center to the detention facilities at Bagram Air Base. At least if we were to do that we know that Obamaramadingdong won’t try to apply the protections of our Constitution to individuals who are sworn to destroy it and everything it stands for.

Obama Weakens US Strategic Position

After hearing for the past 7 years that it was our failure to “understand” Islamofascism which led to the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon from the libtards who suffer from Bush Derangement Syndrome, Iran finally has given us proof as to which party is failing to understand our enemy. And it isn’t Conservative/Republicans.

During the campaign, candidate Obama made a bold statement that if elected that he would open dialog with the enemies of this nation. Upon hearing that little ditty, the Conservative blogosphere lit up with calls to reject Obama based upon that insanely naive pronouncement. We all made predictions that Iran & co. would see gestures such as this as weakness. BUT, the American voters in their infinite stupidity voted for the moron anyway.

Last week, Obaramadingdong sent a letter to Iran expressing his willingness to open dialog with the rogue nation. Yesterday, the French news agency AFP released a story with the following headline…

Now I really hate to do it, I have a feeling I will be doing it a lot in the next 4 years, but…

Instead of taking this information for what it means, I predict that the Obama Infestation led by that scholar of International Affairs – Hillary Clinton – will continue to put forth olive branches only to get their hands bitten repeatedly. They have an insane nature about them liberals do. They think that just because they will something and they make overt gestures expressing their willingness to do something, everyone else should just roll over and play their game.

Example – Nuclear Disarmament…

The man with the unmentionable middle name Hussein has this ignorant idea that if we announce to the world that we are dismantling our nuclear arsenal and not replacing our strategic weapons as their shelf-life expire, that they will do the same and/or halt their quest to build an arsenal (in the case of Iran). When the truth is, the gesture will weaken the US’s position in the world and allow rogue governments the ability to build said arsenals to which we would then be in a position to not be able to counter.

Example – The Global War on Terrorism…

Mr. Soetoro wants you to believe that if we pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan, reduce the size of our military, and pull the remaining forces back, that the Islamofascists will say to themselves, ‘You know Ahmed, these Americans are alright. We won’t attack them anymore”. What an asinine idea!

What the POTUS doesn’t understand is that these people are like sharks. They sense blood in the water and that is when they attack. Well Obama is causing the United States to hemorrhage and the sharks are preparing said attack.

It is my honest belief that it won’t be long before we have another attack on US soil. And when it happens we are not in a position to defend against it. We have allowed too many of these Islamofascists to integrate into our society. And in some places we have altered our society to accommodate them. Case in point – Dearborn, MI.

The next attack on our soil will be scaled back in one way and expanded in another. It is my belief that they will not attack one or two massive targets on a grand scale because they know we are preparing for that. What I think they are going to do is a widespread series of attacks coordinated to kill as many people as possible in a large number of locations at the same time or in close proximity in time.

I have no doubt that their method of attack will more resemble the Iraqi Insurgency than September 11th. The method of deployment for these attacks will likely not be Arab men. It will likely be women and children delivering explosive devices, possibly small scale WMD attacks and dirty bombs, set off in shopping malls, schools, and other “gun free zones” because they are the ultimate in soft targets.

The facilitator of these operations will be the downsizing of the Global War on Terrorism. If we leave the foreign battlefield our enemies will bring the battlefield to us. And instead of Iraqi civilians being killed by these Islamofascists, it will be American women, children, and elderly who will be the targets of bin Laden’s band of angry men.

So as the character Edward Rooney said in the movie ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’ – “Pucker Up Buttercup” because we are all about to become targets.

I’d like to say one more time…

To all of you who voted for this idiot, THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. Because of morons like you, we are all about to have a great big target on our backs.

Consequences of POTUS Obama/Soetoro/Obama’s First Official Act

Liberals fought through the US federal court system to grant trials to terrorist (note: I do not say suspected or alleged) being held at the terrorist detention center at Guantanamo Bay Cuba. But now, THE BIGGEST Liberal ever elected to public office has signed an executive order as his first official act as POTUS suspending these very trials. Excuse me while I take a moment to ponder the stupidity of his actions.

Ok, I’m back.

Obamaramadingdong has made it perfectly clear that he intends on closing the terrorist detention center. His hope is to introduce these terrorists into the federal court system, extend Constitutional protections to non-citizens hell bent on the destruction of the nation which the Constitution establishes, and allow them the opportunity to be freed on bond or habeas corpus. Free to commit terrorist acts within the continental United States. Can we say ASININE!

This is the reason why attorneys should be barred from public office. But to the contrary, most in public office ARE LAWYERS!

First off, if indeed these terrorists are to be treated as prisoners of war, then we are forbidden from subjecting them to any kind of trial. To do so would open the ability for a future enemy in a future conflict to submit our soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines to kangaroo style prosecutions in the nations which we may be at war with.

I contend however, that these illegal combatants captured on the battlefield without identifying uniforms, without carrying their arms openly, and without complying with the rules of war can be, under those same rules of war, be tried, convicted, and executed as spies through military tribunal. These trials and execution of sentences should be expedited not suspended. Especially if one wanted to close the detention center where they are being held.

If Obama’s first act as President is any indication of how much thought he puts into his positions then we as a nation are doomed. In the next 1093 days (and several hours) of his Infestation this President will likely lead us down paths from which we may never be able to recover. And his “leadership” down the wrong unrecoverable path may doom this nation to ultimate destruction.

Treating terrorists as if they are defendants in a criminal proceeding is NOT the way to keep this nation safe. Perhaps I’ll begin to count the days until a terrorist attack on our nation facilitated by the election of this massively under-qualified moron.

As you know, this is the farce of elections – a person lies and lies to people, just so that they will vote for him, and afterwards, when they say to him, ‘You promised this and that,’ he says: ‘No, this was just elections propaganda.’ This is the farce of democracy for you. He says: ‘This was propaganda, and you thought I was being serious. I was fooling you to get your votes.’

“Allah willing, it will turn out that this was merely elections propaganda. Obama said he would turn Jerusalem into the eternal capital of the Israelis. This indicates that our brother Obama is ignorant of international politics, and is not familiar with the Middle East conflic.”

The lesson we must take from this admission by Gadhafi is that the jury is still out on the genuineness of Obama’s Christian faith. Fact is that his religious preference when documented in Indonesia as a child was Islam a fact that Obama has steadfastly refused to directly explain.

Two other concerns pop out in the context of Gadhafi’s comments…

1) Is the Muslim world funding Obama’s quest for the White House?
2) Is Obama eligible to even run?

The answer to question 1) won’t be answered until the election process completely plays out. Unfortunately the Republican Nominee refuses to to engage Obama on these types of issues. However, the answer to question 2) may be locked in federal court. There is a case currently being heard as to whether or not Barack Hussein Obama is actually a citizen of the United States. His campaign has been ordered to produce his birth records, including any “file copies” that may show that he was actually born at a hospital in Kenya not Hawaii. This same case is also pursuing the case of his Indonesian citizenship. If the court sides with the plaintiff, a Democrat by the way, it could be proven that Obama is not even eligible to be a United States Senator and therefore guilty of election fraud. Hopefully this case will conclude before the November 4th election. Somehow I doubt that Obama’s supporters would be as enthusiastic about voting for Joe Biden as they are about voting for Barack Obama.

A third question is, where is the Main Stream Media’s coverage about Gadhafi’s comments? They are instead relentlessly hounding Joe the Plumber on behalf of their lord and savior Barack Hussein Obama.

On September 11, 2001 life in the United States changed forever. On that day 19 cowardly sons of Allah hijacked 4 US airliners. American flight 11 and United Airlines flight 175 were flown into the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York city. American Airlines flight 77 struck the Pentagon. The 4th airliner, United 93 was either bound for the US Capital or the White House but was forced to crash outside of Shanksville, PA when passengers of that flight attempted to regain control of the plane from the terrorists. This heroic move without question saved hundreds if not thousands of lives on the ground.

Today we remember those who died in the world’s worst terrorist attack even as we discover that there are people in the world who don’t believe this evil act was perpetrated by the evil followers of Mohammad the pedophile. You will find that story here.

What Does the Palin Pick Say About McCain’s Judgement?

To me it says that he recognizes that he cannot get elected to the highest office in the land without us. To me it says that he will keep his promise to appoint judges in the mold of Chief Justice John Roberts and Associate Justice Sam Alito. These are the lasting impact of any President for what is the true legacy? Only federal judge appointments and Supreme Court appointments have the lasting impact. Laws and policy can be overturned by the agenda of a succeeding President. But, the federal judiciary is where a President has his lasting say. We are still dealing with a Ford appointment (John Paul Stevens) who has turned out to be one of THE worst appointments ever in the history of the court.

During the next President’s term, there will likely be 2 vacancies on the Supreme Court. Ginsburg will likely retire and Stevens, if he doesn’t retire, is a fugitive from the graveyard (he’s 88). McCain would have a chance to replace 2 liberals on the court with 2 Conservatives. What an opportunity!

With this appointment, McCain has shown that he will do what he says in the appointment of traditionalist judges. That is what the Palin pick says about McCain’s judgement.
