Doubling Down on Death Care

Yesterday the Emperor paraded out a bunch of people in white lab coats – claimed them to be doctors, physicians’ assistants, and nurses – to publicly “instruct” Congress that the time for debate is over. Like a strict father to his petulant children he said (in a nutshell), “the time of tomfoolery is over so get to work and pass my bill.”

Where his clout comes from he hasn’t a clue. But in the opinion of this voting citizen anyone who votes for this sham of a “health care bill” is committing political suicide. I guess he hasn’t noticed but the primary season has begun and at-risk members of the House and Senate are going to be very weary about sticking their necks too far out. They have the fear of a fattened-up turkey on Thanksgiving in their eyes.

He arrogantly touted that this plan has the best aspects of both Democrat and Republican proposals in it. But – it really doesn’t. It has all the destructive aspects of the Progressives in it for sure, but nothing of substance from the right. The American people know this to be true and their Congress-critters know that their constituents aren’t as stupid as the Emperor hopes they are.

Senate Democrats don’t really want any part of using budget reconciliation to placate the far left in the House. Not to mention, they can’t until the House passes the already passed Senate bill which hasn’t a snowball’s chance in Satan’s bedroom of passing in the House.

Harry Reid knows that he’s out of a job come the end of the year so he’s willing to double down with the Emperor. Pelosi, she knows that the libtards in her district are just stupid enough to continue down the road to socialism even as those very policies are destroying their home state. So she’s comfortable in knowing that her job is safe – her job as a US Congress-critter that is. As for being Speaker? In her mind it has been a good 4 years,. But come January, she has to give up her private airline.

Any Senator up for re-election is toast if they sign onto passing this thing under reconciliation. Any Progressive Congress-critter knows that they are toast if they sign on to the Senate bill. Any moderate Congress-critter knows they are as well.

In short, I don’t think this thing has legs. Honestly, I don’t see it passing because too much power is at stake. Too many in Congress will see their political futures go by the wayside with their “yes” vote. The Emperor is still in there punching though. He’s already begun to hand out bribes.

Tonight, Barack Obama will host ten House Democrats who voted against the health care bill in November at the White House; he’s obviously trying to persuade them to switch their votes to yes. One of the ten is Jim Matheson of Utah. The White House just sent out a press release announcing that today President Obama nominated Matheson’s brother Scott M. Matheson, Jr. to the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

Think back dear reader to the 2006 midterms… Remember a term the left used to gain power by appealing to the politically apathetic? The term was “Culture of Corruption”. What do you call a Democrat Leadership in the House, Senate, and White House who buys votes for legislation using political payoffs, appointments, and graft? How about a Party who keeps disgraced members in Committee Chairs in the midst of ethics investigations? What do you call a Presidential Administration who appoints a tax cheat to head the Department of the Treasury? I don’t know about you but to me that defines what a true “Culture of Corruption” is.

It is up to us – WE THE PEOPLE – to do what we have done since they first set a deadline to pass this monstrosity. Make our voices heard on Capital Hill. The message should be loud and clear. Pass this bill and resign because come November – you are out of a job Jack.

The message to the incoming Congress should be just as clear. Repeal EVERYTHING this Congress has passed immediately.

Make no mistake – there is about to be regime change on Capital Hill. It’s going to happen. The question for Democrats is how much control are you willing to give up? The more of you who sign on the greater the Republican majority will be.

So go ahead lefty – sign on to a bill and a process which short circuits the American people. We kind of want you to.

Can Liberal News Media Sustain Itself Without Commercial Advertising?

It is well known that in the war that is cable news, Fox is destroying CNN and literally killing MSNoBodyCares. Evidence of this became overwhelmingly evident as I experienced first hand recently.

In my home the ONLY time MSNoBodyCares is EVER displayed on my television is during the Olympics. Earlier this evening, I was at my wife’s parents’ home and they were watching a couple of apolitical programs on MSNoBodyCares. After a while something began to occur to me. All of the commercials were promos for their own losing leftist political shows. Not one of the ads were for a commercial product or service. As-a-matter-of-fact, some of the promos were running back to back for the same show. How lame can they be?

There were ads for Rachel Mad-cow, Mr. Ed, Keith Olberdouce, and Chris “Thrill Up My Leg” Matthews; but not one single ad for potato chips, diapers, feminine hygiene products, soap, beer, or any other commercial product. How long can a “news” organization survive without commercial advertising? Just ask Error Amerika – the former home of Rachel Mad-cow incidentally. Error Amerika went bankrupt and recently ceased operations because ~~liberal~~ progressive political commentary cannot sell advertising because it cannot draw an audience.

~~Liberalism~~ Progressivism DOES – NOT – SELL. As a political ideology Progressivism is diametrically opposed to business. Progressivism is Marxism Lite. Where Marxism achieves its Communist goal through revolution – most often times violent revolution – Progressivism achieves the same goal through evolution. Evidence – the 20th Century.

During the 20th Century, the United States evolved from a nation of rugged individualism into a nation on the brink of a pseudo-socialist dependency society which is only progressing at an increasingly rapid pace under the current Presidential Infestation with a massive Progressive Democrat majority in both houses of Congress.

MSNoBodyCares – and the whole NBC family in general – has positioned itself to become a de facto propaganda wing of the Obama Infestation. According to their ultra leftist political commentators, the Emperor can do no wrong while anything Republican/Conservative/Libertarian is by definition racist, obstructionist and standing in the way of progress. MSNoBodyCares is populated by on-air talking heads that do not reflect the ethnic diversity of the United States in any way. Mad-cow is Caucasian as is Olberdouce, Matthews, Schultz, and every other political anchor in their lineup. But yet they have the audacity to say the TEA Party movement is made up of sheet wearing racists? Remember what they say about people who live in glass houses…

ABC News has announced that they are cutting their staff significantly. How long do you believe MSNoBodyCares can afford to staff their “news” network if they continue to air programs without commercial sponsorship? General Electric is already attempting to unload the white elephant known as NBC. Could it be that GE’s embracing of ~~liberal~~ progressive politics is beginning to affect the bottom line?

GE and NBC dove head first into the man-made global warming agenda and now perhaps they are rethinking that whole boondoggle. But they cannot out-rightly admit that they were wrong. Oh no – can’t have that! Heads must first roll, management must change, a new owner will be found who will lull the apathetic public into believing that it never happened. And the whole idea that NBC was behind the global push to indoctrinate will be conveniently forgotten. But as of right now, they have no advertising. At least for their cable “news” channel. And without a revenue stream it is only a matter of time before GE decides to dump the left wing cable news channel. Or at least consider a realignment.

Dems Following the Emperor Into Political Obscurity [UPDATED]

This week’s “health care summit” is nothing more than a PR opportunity for the Emperor in that it will give him face time on TV portraying a facade of “bipartisanship”. It is his way to truly show the Republicans as the “party of NO” when they reject his ultimatum. Because that is what this is. “Either you play ball or I’ll use my bully pulpit to portray you as standing in the way.” That’s the real message to Republicans on Thursday.

The Infestation and the Democrat Politburo aim to use political chicanery to muscle through legislation which has already passed one house – the Senate. A bill that even Democrats do not like incidentally. They will then make “adjustments” to the Senate bill through budget reconciliation. Problem – the bill itself.

The bill is filled with unconstitutional provisions including, but not limited to, the health insurance mandate. Also included is a provision which basically says that it cannot be repealed by subsequent Congresses. How absurd! Even the Constitution has a method of modification built into it.

This is nothing more than the Emperor dictating and his Politburo complying.

Some on the left make the case that if the Emperor does not force this through it will mean disaster for Democrats in November and beyond. Actually, the opposite is true.

Every single Democrat who votes to pass this turkey will be doing so at his/her own political peril. The people do not want it. A New York Times/CBS poll shows the American public is more concerned with jobs than health insurance.

Which is a bigger concern to you personally–the economy and jobs or health insurance and health care costs?[1]

Economy and jobs 59%

Health insurance and costs 27%

Neither (Vol.) 1%

Speaking of poll numbers, Obama’s latest 2 Rasmussen Reports Presidential Approval Indexes have signaled terrible news for the Emperor. His index is down to its lowest point ever at -19 with a measly 22% of those polled saying they strongly support the President and 41% saying they strongly oppose. His overall numbers in the dumper as well. According to the index, Obama has an approval rating of 45% with 54% opposed.[2]

If Democrat House members actually believe that following this moron is the way to keep their jobs then they are going to have the shock of their lives come November. The smart money is on killing this bill forever and always.

The job of the Conservative blogosphere, talk radio, every single elected Republican and their combined staffs over the next 9 months is to continually remind the American people of who is responsible for this bill. Who wrote it and who voted for it in its various forms. Any ‘yes’ votes on this turkey should be portrayed as the political “kiss of death”.

OH – and Democrats…

By all means parade your increasingly unpopular Emperor in front of your constituents. The more he campaigns the more Republicans will win. When his Infestation is done on January 20, 2013, he will be known throughout American history as the worst Chief Executive ever to hold the mantle of leadership in the Republic. Anyone who follows his “leadership” will be forever pinned to that legacy. So by all means – GO AHEAD.

The Emperor and the entire left has been spewing a falsehood that the GOP hasn’t offered any solutions. Sorry to inform you but yes they have. GOP’s solutions…

Number one: let families and businesses buy health insurance across state lines.
Number two: allow individuals, small businesses, and trade associations to pool together and acquire health insurance at lower prices, the same way large corporations and labor unions do.
Number three: give states the tools to create their own innovative reforms that lower health care costs.
Number four: end junk lawsuits that contribute to higher health care costs by increasing the number of tests and procedures that physicians sometimes order not because they think it’s good medicine, but because they are afraid of being sued.

The truth is that the left and their President are not interested in alternative solutions. They only see one solution. Socialism. Anything that is not part of their socialist take over of America is not a consideration. Their goal is not the health and welfare of the people their goal is control of the people. The GOP’s plan leaves the people in charge and that is something the left can not allow to happen.

If Obama is awake – he’s lying. If Pelosi or Reid have heartbeats – they are lying.

It has occurred to me that the Emperor has an unhealthy infatuation with failure. Why do I say that you ask? He seems to favor European Socialism and every single item on his agenda follows the European model which we all can see is a complete and utter failure. Case in point: Greece.

Instead of running away from proven failure, Obama is rushing head-on into it. That is, unless the new found power of the minority and the American people find a way to stop him.

In Greece the national deficit is in excess of 12% of GDP. In the United States the federal budget deficit is nearing 10% of GDP. Excuse me but – DOESN’T ANYONE ELSE SEE A PROBLEM HERE?!?

In Greece the size of their national government encompasses nearly 30% of their labor force. Here in the States, the only sector of the economy that is growing is the public sector (the government). DANGER WILL ROBINSON, DANGER – DANGER – DANGER. DANGER WILL ROBINSON …

So the major question is why? It is part of the plan. Destroy America as we know it and rebuild it into the unachievable socialist utopia that ~~Progressives~~ ~~Liberals~~ ~~Progressives~~ Populists have been attempting to “progress” toward for over a hundred years. Or make us subservient to a world governmental body. Either way, it isn’t good.

Ineptitude – The Obama Legacy

The Imperial mouthpieces sent out among the jackals of the Sunday talk shows, seem to have neglected to convene a little meeting prior to their appearances in order to coordinate the official lie. Normally they would probably not worry about such a meeting because the differing subject matter they would normally be discussing during their various appearances would be dealing with seemingly unrelated topics. However the Emperor has been sending forth his non-thinking minions to the Infestation’s official propaganda corps to bend the truth (see also: spin) about the same thing – the success of the American Robbery and Redistribution Act of 2009 (aka: The Porkulus).

The Emperor and his minions can’t seem to get together and decide how many jobs the Redistribution Act has “created or saved”. The Emperor’s moronic mouthpieces have brought forth three different numbers on three different talk shows on the same day; followed just three days later by the Emperor himself lying to a joint session of Congress spewing forth a completely different number. In my opinion, if they truly think the American people are buying their lies they are all fugitives from the booby hatch.

No one is being fooled. With that in mind, one must ask the question “why is it they continue with the charade?”

The answer is simple.

In the 1962 version of ‘The Manchurian Candidate’ Senator Iselin (James Gregory), after barking off various numbers of “card-carrying communists in the defense department” before the press, is attempting to get his wife (Angela Lansbury) to give him one simple number that he can remember so that he doesn’t look like a fool. A small argument ensues and Mrs. Iselin mentions that people aren’t asking “IF” there are any communists in the defense department, they are asking “HOW MANY” communists are in the defense department. In this example we see a perfect text-book case of smoke and mirrors played out before us in a fictional story. When you have no evidence of your position, arrange the argument so that certain aspects of your unproven position are assumed to be factual. In this way you avoid the conflict of proving your case.

Obama and his Infestation cannot prove a single job was either “saved or created”. So they get the public to focus on a number instead of arguing about whether or not the program was even successful at all.

The problem with Obama is that the public is developing a picture of his Infestation as a brood of ineptitude. No one seems to know what is going on including the Emperor. The Obama Infestation looks to the casual observer to be a rudderless ship aimlessly drifting as Obama and his crew focus on meaningless legislation that has no hope of achieving any of its goals. Legislation I might add that has no hope of passing on its merits.

As the private sector continues to lose jobs, the federal government is growing at a rate that no steroid can achieve. Steady injections of Obama-ism and its deficit spending is causing that pig to fatten up as the only jobs being “created or saved” are government sector jobs.

The mouthpieces all brag about “saving” teachers’ jobs or police jobs as if every single teacher and cop would have been pink slipped if the Redistribution Act hadn’t passed. Even if we were to assume they would have been, what is going to happen once the Redistribution Act grant money is exhausted? Will we see Redistribution Act II?!? Apparently as the Emperor has proposed another ~~stimulus~~ “jobs bill”.

Government cannot create or save anything. Government is the reason why the private sector is losing jobs. Over-regulation and mandates from the government make doing business in the United States an increasingly expensive operation. The Infestation pinheads cannot fathom the idea that those whom they have been demonizing for years are the very people who create jobs for us underlings. By taxing them into bankruptcy, the government is destroying job opportunities for the very class of people they give the illusion of working for. All we need now is another ~~stimulus~~ “jobs bill” to drive up the national unemployment numbers another 5% like the first one did.

With each new government spending fix, the economy gets worse. If our economy continues to tank, how is it we will ever make a dent in that nearly $13 Trillion national debt? Short answer: We Can’t!

Scenario: You just lost your job, you can’t pay your bills, now what do you do? Do you go to the bank and say, “hey, I need to borrow $1.9 Trillion to pay my bills?”

You’d be laughed out of the office. Why then do we continue to allow our government to spend beyond its means?

This President and his administration are nothing but a bunch of bumbling idiots. The legacy of the Obama Infestation I predict will be worse than the Carter Infestation. Compared to both of them, that total idiot Clinton looks brilliant.

Let’s all make a pact. The entire voting public of this nation must agree, NO MORE POLITICIANS WITH DOCTORATES. They may be book smart, but they are completely clueless in the real world. And that makes them dangerous.

Boehner Responds to Obama’s Ohio Libtard Pep-Talk

In response to the Emperor’s appearance, House Minority Leader John Boehner (R OH-8) had a few choice words…

“When he last visited Elyria, candidate Obama promised that as President he would enact a ‘job creation agenda.’ Yet for the past year, Ohioans have watched anxiously as Washington Democrats’, with the approval of President Obama, have pushed a job-killing agenda that includes a ‘stimulus’ that isn’t working, a government takeover of health care that will raise taxes, increase premiums and cut Medicare for seniors, and a ‘cap and trade’
national energy tax that will devastate Ohio’s economy and kill jobs at a time we can least afford it.

“Ohio’s unemployment report released this morning marks nine straight months of double-digit unemployment in our state. Tens-of-thousands have lost their jobs since the ‘stimulus’ was enacted. Ohioans fed up with Washington Democrats’ job-killing agenda are asking ‘where are the jobs?’

“A jobless recovery is a far cry from what Ohio’s hard-working families were promised. In Elyria today, Ohioans will be looking for the president to signal he will scrap the job-killing policies that are freezing employers large and small from hiring, and work with Republicans on a true job creation agenda built on common-sense solutions to help small businesses create jobs and put Americans back to work.”

Today the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services released December’s unemployment numbers for our state. Ohio’s unemployment rate jumped from 10.6% in November to 10.9% in December.

The Obama Infestation continues to tout his phantom job creation, none of those jobs apparently are in the Buckeye state. During the same period, the national unemployment rate has fallen from 10.5% in October to 10.3% in November and finally 10.0% in December. That is according to the Obama Infestation which has a vested interest in releasing numbers that looks good for the increasingly unpopular Emperor.

Obama came face to face with reality on Tuesday when the voters of Massachusetts rebuked the Obama plan by elected a Republican to a seat that Ted Kennedy held for 47 years. A seat previously occupied by Kennedy’s brother Bobby and before that his brother John. How can it be that this moron saw this as a sign to redouble his efforts to shove through his very unpopular Death Care bill?

Obama told George Stephanopoulos in an interview this week…

“We lost a sense – of – ah… speaking to the American people about what their core values are.”

Look at the wording… He actually said “… speaking TO” not speaking with. To me that spoke volumes about what his true goal is. His goal is to control all of us.

Any sane person looking at that quote would come to the same conclusion. He said that he didn’t speak TO us enough to define for us what our “core values” are supposed to be as defined by him. You’d have to be blind not to see the meaning in his own words.

If he had said “… speaking with” that would imply a discussion. But he didn’t. He said, “… speaking to”.

Later, I will be releasing a post identifying Obama’s destruction of the US economy. He cannot continue to blame our problems on his predecessor.

SF Chronicle is Delusional

The San Francisco Chronicle asked its readers a rhetorical question to which they have no desire to entertain the real answer. They asked…

If the late Edward Kennedy’s Massachusetts Senate seat isn’t safe for Democrats, is Nancy Pelosi’s speakership of the House safe?

The answer to their own question?

The answer is yes, unless there’s a Republican landslide in November.

Her ability to maintain the “speakership” (btw, that isn’t even a real word), is a bit more in doubt than they are allowing their brain dead libtarded readers to think. They erroneously suggest that Republicans need more than a 40 vote swing. Problem – it is actually now 39. Let us not forget that Rep. Parker Griffith has switched teams.

That error aside, let’s for a moment discuss the ramshackled way in which this Speaker, her Senate counterpart, and her President have approached the advancement of their agenda.

They promised transparency. That hasn’t happened. They are making deals in back rooms to buy votes from their own Party members. The whole C-SPAN promise was conveniently ignored by the Emperor, Pelosi, and Reid. They plowed ahead with their socialist fantasy they dubbed ‘health care’ which has nothing to do with improving the health of this nation and everything to do with government control.

People do not wish to live an Orwellian nightmare. We don’t want to live in a society that needs ‘Big Bro’s’ permission for anything. We don’t want him looking over our shoulders and we definitely do not want him looking over our doctor’s shoulder. We don’t want a ‘framework’ in place that would make a single-payer health care system possible. We’ve seen what that kind of system produces in Canada, the UK, and elsewhere. It requires massive economic resources from the government and creates waiting periods for treatment. Often times by the time treatment is approved it is too late to be of any good. Babies are being born in hallways, lavatories, and in the streets as women are turned away due to over crowding. Cancer patients are denied life saving treatments solely based on cost. WE DON’T WANT IT!

The people are tired of political payoffs which seem to be all the rage in Washington under this Speaker and this President. The $787 Trillion dollar stimulus was nothing more than political graft. In the Death Care bill, the Emperor backs the tax on so-called ‘Cadillac’ health plans of 40%. Unless of course, you belong to a union; a clear payoff to big labor for their political support. Contracts for infrastructure, which the stimulus was supposed to be all about even though infrastructure improvements represented a small fraction of the stimulus spending, were only to be granted to firms hiring union workers or paying union wages. More union payoffs.

The promises of ending the politics of cronyism were nothing more than empty words designed to enthrall the masses to empower an agent of ‘change’. Obama has more of his political buddies in his Infestation than any other I can recall. Valerie Jarrett, Anita Dunn (make no mistake, she’s still around), Cass Sunstein, and others. They are all his cronies. Remember the failure to detect gate crashers at the state dinner for India? The woman in charge? Yeah, she’s a pal of Michelle’s.

Speaking of ‘change’, during the campaign we asked, “a ‘change’ from what to what?” A question that went unanswered until the current President took office and began to show the path in which he would proceed.

In the beginning of the 20th Century, a political ideology began to grow called the Progressive Movement. It encompassed not just one of the dominant political parties, but elements of both. Teddy Roosevelt, a Republican, was entranced by this new way of thinking as was Woodrow Wilson and Franklin D. Roosevelt (both Democrats).

Progressivism is a way of thinking that is governed by a progression toward another political ideology that lies in wait. A cancer willing to corrupt all that is good in order to replace it with an evil so great that it threatened to encompass the world. Some call it Socialism, others Communism, but at the heart of it all is Marxism.

The Marxist/Socialist/Communist ideology is all one in the same. It has been the cause of more death and destruction on this planet than any other ideology in the history of the world. At its heart, is control. Because the only way to make everyone truly equal, man’s inherent free-will must be removed. The President’s Death Care bill installs a ‘framework’ to do just that.

Obama, Pelosi, and Reid are Progressives. They are not by any stretch of the imagination Democratic. They and their kind have infiltrated the Democrat Party, taken up residence, and now dominate their agenda. The Democrat Party in the past couple of decades have adopted the platform of the Progressive movement and is now, due to their overwhelming majorities in both houses of Congress and the Presidency, poised to implement all that they need to take total control.

But the American people have at last caught on. They have risen up and begun to speak. They are putting Progressives in both political Parties on notice. “We reject your agenda!”

The complaint main stream media, the literal propaganda machine for this President and his Progressive agenda, attempted to mask the importance of the popular uprising of 2009. The Tea Party Movement sent shock-waves through the political spectrum and many in the Republican Party took notice. Some are still clinging to their own brand of Progressivism but most have been awakened to the Will of The People.

The People reject the fiscal irresponsibility that is being utilized by the Progressives to destroy the economy of the United States. The Progressives need the economy to collapse in order to respond to the emergency. The Cloward-Piven Strategy to implement Socialist Revolution.

Cloward-Piven is a strategy for forcing political change through orchestrated crisis.

They don’t even attempt to hide it any longer. Every action that this Infestation, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid go forward with (Progress) is in direct adherence to the strategy outlined by Cloward and Piven.

First proposed in 1966 and named after Columbia University sociologists Richard Andrew Cloward and his wife Frances Fox Piven (today Piven is an honorary chair for the Democratic Socialists of America), the “Cloward-Piven Strategy” seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.

This has been exposed and The People are wise. We recognize the “trojan horse” named Obama and we do not like what he’s attempting to do. This caused a rise in The People that the msm attempted to categorize as a “right wing” racist astroturfed political campaign when in actuality many life-long Democrats, Independents, and (and this really kills them) MINORITIES are taking part.

So no San Francisco Chronicle, Pelosi’s “speakership” is not safe. She will more than likely not be returning to the big chair come January, 2011 because the people are on the cusp of revolution. Not the revolution outlined by those two monsters Cloward and Piven but a second American Revolution. And the weapons of this revolution are the ballot boxes. We saw that in Massachusetts with the election of Scott Brown.

How can a Republican win the seat held by a life-long Progressive for over 40 years? And do so when his Party only represents 12% of registered voters in his state? The only answer is revolution. Republicans, Democrats, and (more importantly) Independents at the local and state levels are going to lead this revolution and those who do not adhere to the wishes of the electorate will be finding themselves drifting in the abyss of political irrelevancy.

America wants a return to the principles upon which this nation was founded. Americans of all walks of life understand that the federal government is too big and doomed to failure should it continue to grow as the Cloward-Piven Progressives in charge are directing. The American People understand that there is only 1 corporation that is “too big to fail” and that corporation is the United States of America. And we are all stockholders.

The only question remains is, can the Republicans do any better with The People’s trust? They certainly cannot do any worse.

Sen. Brown Means Death Care Reconciliation – How Will “Moderate” Dems React?

Harry Reid is threatening the use of budget reconciliation for the Death Care bill should Scott Brown prevail tomorrow in the Massachusetts special election. Ok… But how will Moderate Dems in the Senate react to that maneuver? How will the Senate’s 2 Independents react? Sanders will likely vote with the majority but what about Joe Lieberman? Will Ben Nelson fall in line? How about Mary Landrieu? Will their sweetheart deals hold up?

Lets face it campers, the American people do not like political tactics and Reid’s use of reconciliation is just that – a tactic. There will be a voter revolt come November should Reid et al attempt this stunt even if it were to fail. Yes I said fail.

Reid had better hope that he definitely has 51 votes for passage if he uses reconciliation. It is my opinion that many of those who would vote for the bill if brought to the full Senate in regular fashion would not support the bill in reconciliation. And what about the House?

Rep. Charlie Rangel has already publicly stated that negotiating with the Senate is like negotiating with a gun to their heads. The use of budget reconciliation restricts what can be in the bill. Is it likely that all of the points required by House members will make it into a reconciliation bill? I doubt it. So not only will negotiating with the Senate feel like negotiating with a gun to their heads but they will be blind folded, gagged, and restrained. So can an agreement which could pass the Senate in reconciliation pass the House? And if it could squeek by the House can it actually get 51 votes in the Senate?

A New York Congressman is predicting more political shenanigans to pass Death Care. How about a slow count in Massachusetts for starters?

The tell us that it takes 10 days to count the vote in Massachusetts, so I’m sure they’ll be doing a very slow count.

The American people have spoken numerous times about the political maneuvering that those entrenched in Washington’s power frequently use is no longer acceptable. Maybe it would go over in previous decades but in the new information environment they cannot hide from their own words or their own deeds.

If the Senate uses this political maneuver to get this passed in direct contradiction to the wishes of the American people, even more previously thought secure seats for the Democrats will be in danger. Don’t think for one moment that those Democrats who have been firmly cemented in their seats are willing to follow Harry Reid down into the abyss of political irrelevancy. Many of them do not already have deals to become members of the Obama Infestation after their life in Congress. Nor do any of them have deals that would bring them to lobbying firms because they expected to be in their seats for a few more terms.

Reid is going to lose his seat and everybody except Reid understands that. Boxer is in danger in the very blue state of California. Dodd’s seat in Connecticut, another extremely blue state, is in no way shape or form a certainty for anyone let alone a Democrat at this point.

CNN is reporting that the Emperor’s advisers are even finding ways for him to cover his political arse. Failure in Massachusetts marks the 4th major political failure of his rule. He failed in Copenhagen twice. He failed campaigning for Corzine in New Jersey, and now he’s failed in Massachusetts.

Multiple advisers to President Obama have privately told party officials that they believe Democrat Martha Coakley is going to lose Tuesday’s special election to fill the Massachusetts Senate seat held by the late Ted Kennedy for more than 40 years, several Democratic sources told CNN Sunday.

The sources added that the advisers are still hopeful that Obama’s visit to Massachusetts on Sunday – coupled with a late push by Democratic activists – could help Coakley pull out a narrow victory in an increasingly tight race against Republican state Sen. Scott Brown.

However, the presidential advisers have grown increasingly pessimistic in the last three days about Coakley’s chances after a series of missteps by the candidate, sources said.

Real Clear Politics has video of the Emperor being heckled at the Coakley rally yesterday. You can’t make out what the heckler is shouting but it was enough to irritate Coakley supporters and take Barry out of his rhythm.

If anyone actually believes that “Marsha” Coakley (as Rep. Patrick Kennedy calls her) has a snowball’s chance (in Al Gore’s politically motivated global apocalyptic nightmares) of pulling out a victory, they need some heavy medication.

Equally, if anyone believes that Reid’s scorched earth style political tactic to pass this bill in spite of overwhelming opposition to it among the American people is the right path toward maintaining political power, they need locked up.

Sharrod Brown – The Harry Reid of Ohio

This morning I received an email “newsletter” type correspondence from one of my Senators. I say “my” Senators with a bit of jest because neither of them fully represent my interests OR the interests of Ohio. Voinovich is a spinless RINO and Brown – well let us just say that Sharrod Brown is Harry Reid’s vote in Ohio. What Harry wants, Brown will be there to supply.

Michael Medved wrote in an article that he authored for Townhall.com earlier in the week…

Sharrod Brown is such an incomparably inept boob, such an easy target for ridicule and criticism, that he invites said ridicule by being functionally unable to think for himself. He is a lemming willing to sacrifice his political career by following those whom he believes to be smarter than he into the abyss of political irrelevancy and sacrificing the people of Ohio in the process.

Brown, like Emperor Obama and the rest of the ultra left, has read Robert Creamer’s prison tome, ‘Stand Up Straight: How Progressives Can Win’, which not only outlined how liberals could infest all aspects of government, but outlined the current Death Care bill being pushed through on The Hill.

Creamer actually said on April 25, 2008:

We need to reduce the credibility of the private insurance industry… This is a political campaign. We need to bring down the positives and bring up the negatives of our opponents. And the private insurance industry is our opponent in this battle. [1]

Universal, single-payer, health care is their way to control you and me. With it, they have everything in place to completely orchestrate how we live our lives. Because they would be the financier of public health, they can then tell the public how to live in order to remain healthy. Salt – no good. Transfats – no good. If it’s no good it will become illegal. An Orwellian nightmare to say the least.

Some may say, ‘but this bill isn’t single-payer.’ No it isn’t. Not yet anyway. But it can become single-payer over time and that is the true goal. Pay attention to the words used by those advocating its passage. They will use a keyword “framework”.

“Framework” is the instrument to install a single-payer system. Let me remind you that single-payer systems around the world are failing. They are a HUGE expenditure to the public treasury in the nations where it is implemented and services are often times denied or delayed in such a fashion that they become irrelevant and people die do to inaction.

Progressives have been working toward this for over 100 years. Wilson wanted this, Roosevelt wanted this, Johnson wanted this, Clinton wanted this, and now Obama is going to force it because he has stooges like Sharrod Brown in place to vote for it no matter the costs to his personal political career.

Sarah Palin coined a phrase last summer that was largely misunderstood. She said that this bill would install death panels. Taken out of context, liberals pounced on her for erroneously saying that the Emperor’s plan to have advisory meetings with seniors about end of life decisions were not a “death panel”. But that isn’t what she meant.

The death panels that Palin warned about isn’t the end of life counseling, it is the rationing body that necessarily must be set up to decide who gets what treatment at what cost. But even Sarah was wrong about its “framework”. That doesn’t exist in the Death Care bill. It actually was in the Porkulus bill.

That’s right. The authority for the rationing board actually has already passed. They concealed it within another bill so that when this debate came about they could honestly say, “there is no rationing body in this bill.” Also concealed in the Porkulus was a provision requiring all hospitals computerize all medical records and make them available to the above mentioned rationing body for review and payment. And Sharrod Brown voted for the Porkulus.

I know that this is 2010 and Brown’s seat isn’t up for re-election until 2012. I also know that there is an existing seat up in my state that is in contention. Voinovich is retiring – Thanks be to GOD – and Rob Portman is running for the seat. But we cannot advance as a nation or as a state if we allow Brown to remain a second longer than necessary. He was a bumbling moron as a Congressman and he’s nothing more than Harry Reid’s ‘yes man’ in the Senate.

Ohio needs to identify the man or woman who will remove that imbecile from his seat in 2012. The nation requires it of us as Ohioans to be responsible for who we send to the Senate. We mustn’t get caught up in who is going to replace the Emperor and lose sight of the bigger picture. We need good men and women to take the reigns of the House and the Senate as well. And don’t forget about the State Houses.

We have Portman who will in all likelihood defeat whichever bumbling boob the Democrats nominate to replace Voinovich and we have John Kasich and Mary Taylor to fill the top spots in the state.

But who will we have to fill our Congressional Districts? Are they for government health care? Jim Jordan is not and I’m glad of that. Jordan will be returned to Congress for another term that is no question. But what of your Congresscritter? Have they voted for the leftist agenda while in Congress? If so it’s time for forced retirement.

The current Congress (House and Senate) is spending this nation into the proverbial poor house. The national debt is approaching $13 Trillion with unfunded liabilities in excess of $120 Trillion. If your Congresscritter or Senator isn’t voting this new spending down, he/she is part of the problem and must go. If your Congresscritter and Senators are voting to reject this new spending, we need more like them.

But be careful. In as much as we need a change from the current tax and spend mentality, we do not need fiscally irresponsible Republicans either. If we are going to be ruled by liberals we may as well have the genuine article.

Brown Overtakes Coakley In Latest Polls

The NBC affiliate in Boston, WHDH7, is reporting that Brown is leading the race with 50% of the vote compared to Coakley’s 46%. Keep in mind that Independent Joe Kennedy [1] is also getting 3% in that poll with 1% undecided.

Our exclusive 7NEWS/Suffolk University Poll shows Brown, with 50%, in front of Coakley with 46%. Independent Joe Kennedy gets 3% and just 1% is still undecided.

How quickly has this race turned around?

In November, Coakley was beating Brown by 31 percentage points. Now, Brown is up by 4% — a change of 35% in two months.

Suffolk Poll University pollster David Paleologos said, “Here’s how the race breaks down. Scott Brown wins among men, Martha Coakley among women. Democrats: Coakley. Republicans and Independents: Brown, by a wide, wide margin.”

One reason for Coakley’s collapse is her performance in debates. Nearly half of likely voters say they’ve seen one and asked who won — 41% say Brown, 25% Coakley.

And Coakley is not being helped by her pledge to help pass the Democrat’s national health care bill. Fifty-one percent of likely voters here say no to it while 36% say yes. Sixty-one percent think Washington can’t afford it.

Another surprise — The Kennedy family’s endorsement may have actually hurt Coakley. With 27% said it makes them less likely to vote for her… 20% more likely.

The Associated Press is also reporting the same polling numbers.

Pajamas Media on the other hand is reporting that Brown is up by 15 points in their independent polling. [2]

A new poll taken Thursday evening for Pajamas Media by CrossTarget – an Alexandria VA survey research firm – shows Scott Brown, a Republican, leading Martha Coakley, a Democrat, by 15.4% in Tuesday’s special election for the open Massachusetts US Senate seat. The poll of 946 likely voters was conducted by telephone using interactive voice technology (IVR) and has a margin of error of +/- 3.19%.

Some latest comments from Coakley probably are not helping matters. An estimated 39% of Massachusetts voters are Roman Catholic and as a Catholic myself, I can tell you that there are certain matters of current social policy that are in violation of what the Church teaches. Issues such as artificial birth control and abortion are first and foremost in my mind. Enter Martha Coakley’s personal stupidity…

Responding to a question about hospital workers opting out of taking part in certain procedures or counseling on artificial birth control Coakley had this to say when asked on a local radio program aired on WBSM AM1420…

You can have religious freedom but you probably shouldn’t work in the emergency room.

The fact remains that Coakley is not the eloquent speaker Barack Obama is. Nor does it appear that she has any couth. She has stated that she would be the 60th vote for cloture if elected on a bill that a clear majority of Massachusetts voters reject. She has effectively alienated 39% of the voters of her state with her comments about not working in emergency rooms if they want to have their religious freedoms; a move that is sure to cause her to molt another several percentage points. I’m sure the voters of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts don’t feel too at ease electing someone to the United States Senate who believes a person’s 1st Amendment freedom of religion is curtailed should they take a job working in a hospital’s emergency room.

As for the Emperor’s planned appearance on Sunday? Go for it Barry! I doubt you can help at this point. Another failure will show just how much weight your coat-tails are worth.

Making an appearance on a Sunday is risky enough. But the Sunday before Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, which happens to be the Sunday the NFL Divisional Playoff games are being held? Not a wise idea in my opinion. He failed in Copenhagen in his attempt to influence the International Olympic Committee to bring the games to Chicago. He failed in Copenhagen during a second trip to get an agreement on Global Warming. His economic policies are being proven every day to be a continuing failure. His Death Care bill is in danger of failure. Cap and Trade is on hold. The Porkulus which was supposed to keep unemployment from topping 8% allowed unemployment to top 10%. Nothing this guy has done, with the exception of his election, has succeeded.

So, GO FOR IT BARRY!
