The Presidency and religion is something the American voter has been wrestling with since the 1960 Presidential campaign when many questioned whether John F. Kennedy would hold a greater allegiance to the Constitution (the American people) or to the Pope. The question itself showed a complete lack of knowledge of Catholicism.

His Holiness the Pope, in this case John XXIII, had no direct influence over the political inter-workings of any nation. Popes by definition are the successors of Peter (Christ’s right hand man so to speak) and not a politician or king. Allegiance to the Bishop of Rome is limited to the theological teachings within the Church. The degree in which those teachings spill out into public policy is rather subjective depending upon the level of devotion a President has to his chosen faith. A more devout and “conservative” Catholic would subject his policy decisions to the scrutiny of his faith. For example: a devout Catholic as President today would be compelled to seek out a way to strike down Roe v. Wade and limit the cold-blooded murder of the unborn. However, if the person infesting 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. N.W. happens to be Nancy Pelosi, there isn’t much chance of that happening.

My point is this: when considering the religious beliefs of a potential or sitting President of the United States, it is important to understand what those beliefs are. In the case of John F. Kennedy and Catholicism, there existed no conflict with public policy. Right was right and wrong was wrong. However, when you do not understand the religious beliefs held by the sitting President, there is a conflict. He/she can impose a hidden theological agenda on the nation stealthily and the American people would have no chance to defend the nation against that agenda.

With regard to Barack Obama, nearly 25% of this nation believes he hasn’t been honest in declaring his religious preference. Many will say that he has declared himself to be a Christian, but his actions do not seem to mirror that declaration. He has made speeches apologizing for “America’s arrogance” in the Muslim world. He has, on at least one occasion while in Saudi Arabia, quoted many verses of the Qu’ran calling it “the Holy Qu’ran”. In contrast, he has mocked the Holy Bible on many occasions. He has told an American reporter in an interview that he sees Jesus as a “man of history”. What?!? No Christian of any true Christian denomination would EVER refer to the Son of God as a “man of history”. Strike one against the claims of Christianity.

Obama attended Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago for 25 years. He has claimed to have been baptized in that church. What does that mean?

Trinity United Church of Christ is led by the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Jr. Rev. Wright is a teacher of Black Liberation Theology which is a hybrid of Liberation Theology which itself has its origins in Latin America and the brain child of Catholic Priests. It has been denounced by the Vatican because it has Marxism as its core. To understand the appeal of this church’s teachings in Obama’s mind you must first understand the man and his history.

From the socialism seeking itinerant upbringing of his mother to his father’s denouncing of his Islamic faith, young Barack Hussein Obama was doomed to a life of confusion. He was abandoned by his father in favor of a graduate degree from Harvard and the goal of returning to Kenya to enter politics. He was then abandoned by his mother as she pursued her career. Young Barack was sent back to his grandparents in Hawaii and exposed to some of the most radical Marxist teachings at the hands of Frank Marshall Davis.

According to Obama, as he wrote in his book Dreams of My Father, he sought out Radicals and Marxists in college. He, like his father, attended Harvard for Graduate School to earn his law degree. I believe that I must remind you that Harvard was the transmission point for Fabian Socialism into academia.

According to Islamic (Sharia) Law, a child born of a Muslim father is Muslim and the faith of the mother is immaterial. Sharia doesn’t recognize conversion from Islam into any other faith. Barack Obama, since he has exhibited a keen knowledge of the Qu’ran, must surely understand this fact and yet he claims he is Christian.

While living in Indonesia, young Barack was registered in public school even though only the children of citizens are eligible to attend. On the registration documentation, his name is listed as Barry Soetoro, son of Lolo Soetoro – a Muslim. Incidentally, young Barry Soetoro’s religion was listed as Islam and yet he claims to be Christian.

At this point, I’m going to divert from religion to eligibility to be President of the United States. Many who claim Obama is ineligible are attempting to make the case on the ambiguity surrounding the place of his birth. Because the matter of the location of his birth seems to be impossible to prove, I say we should concentrate on making the case based on what we know to be true.

Barack Hussein Obama was registered in public school in Indonesia under the name Barry Soetoro. Obama does not deny this.
Indonesia at the time required Indonesian citizenship to attend public school.
Indonesia at the time did not recognize dual citizenship.

It is my contention that these three facts speak to Obama’s ineligibility alone. To be President of the United States you must be a natural born citizen. Even if we were to stipulate to that fact, it can be, and should be, argued that he was voluntarily expatriated by his mother and step-father when they registered him in public school in Indonesia. As such, if he never applied for citizenship upon his return to the United States he is in fact an illegal alien. If he had applied for citizenship and it was granted, he is no longer an natural born citizen but rather a naturalized citizen and ineligible to serve as President.

If you understand that Barack Obama is the child of a socialist and a marxist, raised in various parts of the world, sought out socialists and radical thought throughout his formative years, it is reasonable to understand why he would adopt such a radical theology when seeking out a church. Trinity United Church of Christ was identified as a stepping stone for black politics in Chicago. After all, Oprah Winfrey attended that same church and an endorsement from her would carry a young politician a long way.

I submit to you, that his “Christian” faith is a sham which he has used as a political tool to get him where he is. Sure he closely identifies with many of that church’s teachings because they conform to his Marxist roots, but that does not make him Christian.

On the topic of Liberation Theology which Black Liberation Theology is based upon, one must understand the reasons why the Catholic Church rejected that teaching…

His error lay deeper. He forgot that man always remains man. He forgot man and he forgot man’s freedom. He forgot that freedom always remains also freedom for evil. He thought that once the economy had been put right, everything would automatically be put right. His real error is materialism: man, in fact, is not merely the product of economic conditions, and it is not possible to redeem him purely from the outside by creating a favourable economic environment.

Because Liberation Theology has Marxism at its roots, it is impossible for any Catholic, and by association any Christian, to adhere to such a teaching because it is inherently anti-Christian. Marx wrote that religion is “the opiate of the masses”. Teachers of Liberation Theology are less concerned with the teachings of Christ than those of Marx. This is heresy.

In conclusion, at best Obama is a shadow Muslim. At worst, and what I believe is actually the truth, Obama is a Marxist who wears Christianity as a cloak like all followers of Black Liberation Theology; using his faith as a conduit to achieve the goal of advancing socialism in this country. He has succeeded because those who cast votes for him failed to understand who he was and is.

Those behind the Ground Zero Mosque are being deceptive when they say that its purpose is to build understanding. The truth is they wish to project an aura of dominance over the Infidel Society that they refer to as “The Great Satan” – The United States.

The Ground Zero Mosque project, affectionately called “Cordoba House” by Jihadis in honor of the conquering of Cordoba Spain in the name of Allah. In 711 A.D., Cordoba Spain was conquered by an Islamic army and became the provincial capital of the Caliphate of Damascus. The Arabic name for Cordoba was قرطبة (Qurṭuba). In 716, Cordoba was elected to become the capital of an independent Emirate known as al-Andalus. Not long after, it became it’s own Caliphate.

I submit to you that any talk of “building understanding” is nice talk to worm their way into our society in order to lay a “framework” to conquer us from within. Jihadis no longer attack with armies. They stealthily infiltrate their opponents and conquer from within like cancer does to the human body. If we allow this mosque to be built in the name of our Constitution and in the name of religious freedom, they will use this mistaken tolerance against us and soon, there will be no religious freedom left. You will submit to Islam or you will die. That is the ONLY reason for calling this Jihadi Citadel “Cordoba House” and building it in the heart of our financial center. Allowing it to be built will complete the work of the 9/11 terrorists.

The planners are running into an obstacle they hadn’t counted on – workers.

According to a report in the New York Daily News…

A growing number of New York construction workers are vowing not to work on the mosque planned near Ground Zero.

The grass-roots movement is gaining momentum on the Internet. One construction worker created the “Hard Hat Pledge” on his blog and asked others to vow not to work on the project if it stays on Park Place.

It would be difficult to have a mosque that builders refuse to build.

However, the planners are getting aid from the Progressive State Controlled Media (to use a Rushism).

The Associated Press is encouraging news reporters, especially those who contribute to the AP, to refrain from using the term ‘Ground Zero Mosque’.

Here is some guidance on covering the NYC mosque story, with assists from Chad Roedemeier in the NYC bureau and Terry Hunt in Washington:

1. We should continue to avoid the phrase “ground zero mosque” or “mosque at ground zero” on all platforms. (We’ve very rarely used this wording, except in slugs, though we sometimes see other news sources using the term.) The site of the proposed Islamic center and mosque is not at ground zero, but two blocks away in a busy commercial area. We should continue to say it’s “near” ground zero, or two blocks away.

WE WILL CHANGE OUR SLUG ON THIS STORY LATER TODAY from “BC-Ground Zero Mosque” to “BC-NYC Mosque.”

In short headlines, some ways to refer to the project include:

_ mosque 2 blocks from WTC site
_ Muslim (or Islamic) center near WTC site
_ mosque near ground zero
_ mosque near WTC site

We can refer to the project as a mosque, or as a proposed Islamic center that includes a mosque.

It may be useful in some stories to note that Muslim prayer services have been held since 2009 in the building that the new project will replace. The proposal is to create a new, larger Islamic community center that would include a mosque, a swimming pool, gym, auditorium and other facilities.

2. Here is a succinct summary of President Obama’s position:

Obama has said he believes Muslims have the right to build an Islamic center in New York as a matter of religious freedom, though he’s also said he won’t take a position on whether they should actually build it.

You know, I think I’ve read about a society which changes their modes of speech and their memories of history based solely on political necessity. What was that… ? I can’t remember what… Oh yeah! It was George Orwell’s ’1984′!

To all of you who said that I’m barking up the wrong tree or I’m some sort of tin-foil hat wearing conspiracy theorist for comparing Obama to Orwell’s antagonist Big Brother perhaps you need to wake up and hear the suicide bombers. They are telling us in plain terms what they are doing! You need to pay attention!

Obama wants to advance the Progressive agenda and the Progressive agenda is total control. However, what they do not realize is that by allowing Jihadis to build mosques of this type on US soil will short-circuit that agenda. For my part, I reject both as an option. They are both entirely anti-American and they are perverting our Constitution in order to wage war against it.

Those entering our armed forces take an oath as does the President of the United States and all other members of our government. And although they each have wording that differs slightly from the others, the basic concept and basic pledge is exactly the same…

I [state your name], do solemnly swear (or affirm), that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States, against all enemies, foreign or domestic, and that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same…

Nothing that this Infestation is doing is supporting, defending or bearing true faith and allegiance to the US Constitution. In fact, it is attempting to tear it up with every new bill signed into law and every new regulation put into place through executive order or bureaucratic edict. The Obama Infestation and, dare I say the entire Democrat Leadership apparatus, is focused on a “fundamental transformation of the United States”. We should all fear what that “transformation” entails because I fear it won’t be anything resembling freedom.

It’s no wonder 18-24% of the American people believe Obama is a Muslim. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck…

Obama’s MSM Shill, Questioning His Muslim Heritage, and Journalistic Malpractice

Amid the fresh controversy created by the recent release of the results of two polls showing an increasing number of Americans believe Barack Hussein Obama is Muslim, a headline on The Drudge Report caught my eye. It involves some items printed in that bastion of legitimate news, The New York Times (all the news that is fit to wrap fish in; or line bird cages for that matter).

On May 12, 2008, the NYT asked the question – President Apostate? The Times actually had the audacity to ask the questions that needed to be asked, however, they failed to deliver an answer.

From the NYT:

One danger of such charisma, however, is that it can evoke unrealistic hopes of what a candidate could actually accomplish in office regardless of his own personal abilities. Case in point is the oft-made claim that an Obama presidency would be welcomed by the Muslim world.

This idea often goes hand in hand with the altogether more plausible argument that Mr. Obama’s election would raise America’s esteem in Africa — indeed, he already arouses much enthusiasm in his father’s native Kenya and to a degree elsewhere on the continent.

But it is a mistake to conflate his African identity with his Muslim heritage. Senator Obama is half African by birth and Africans can understandably identify with him. In Islam, however, there is no such thing as a half-Muslim. Like all monotheistic religions, Islam is an exclusive faith.

As the son of the Muslim father, Senator Obama was born a Muslim under Muslim law as it is universally understood. It makes no difference that, as Senator Obama has written, his father said he renounced his religion. Likewise, under Muslim law based on the Koran his mother’s Christian background is irrelevant. – emphasis mine

The Times never went beyond this statement of reality. Instead they chose to point to his “chosen Christian faith”.

Since asking the question back in May 2008, the NYT and other “legitimate” news sources have conveniently avoided revisiting the question of Obama’s faith. However, in the dust-up created by the proposed Ground Zero Mosque (the so-called Cordoba House), questions of Obama’s faith has once again entered the American discussion.

A Pew Research poll revealed that 1-in-5 Americans believe Barack Hussein Obama to be a submissive of Muhammad’s delusional visions and rantings. A Time poll on the same subject revealed that 1-in-4 believe Obama is a Muslim. Given that Obama has hosted a Ramadan celebration at the White House, snubbed the Boy Scouts of America by not attending their prayer breakfast, and making statements supporting the planned Cordoba House, the American people are beginning to look more closely at the man with the middle name Hussein. But where is the press?

While we again wait for the main stream media to catch-up to the American people and ask the tough questions they should have asked prior to November 4, 2008, perhaps we should move on as if they will choose to continue to ignore their responsibilities in favor of being Mr. Obama’s dissemination of propaganda conduit. Although I think that is beginning to wear on the media as well. After-all, who can glean any information out of Robert Gibbs? The man stutters more than Mel Tillis.

As for the Emperor… What I can’t understand is the love affair that American academics have with the moron. I mean, who takes a teleprompter on vacation? Obama, that’s who. For someone who was to be a great departure from the poor rhetorical skills of George W. Bush he seems to be extremely dependent upon prepared remarks. Bush was best when he diverted from the prepared statements. Obama on the other hand can’t function without his teleprompter. Off-the-cuff Obama is a stammering idiot. No wonder he keeps Gibbs. Birds of a feather etc…

And what is with that smug Leninist posing? It’s like he has a need to show that he is superior to everyone else staring off into the distance in an attempt to show he’s a visionary. It’s called arrogance – a disease of the elite.

The American press has failed the American people. To get honest reporting about the Obama Infestation one has to read news sources in the UK. This fact alone should be proof positive of the journalistic malpractice being committed by the American dead trees and alphabets. Save FoxNews, America’s journalistic community is devoid of any integrity as they actively shill for the Progressive Utopian Emperor. And they aren’t even attempting to hide it anymore.

The White House addressed the latest questioning of Obama’s faith by having a Communications underling tell the White House Press Pool that Obama is Christian and he prays everyday. The fact that he prays everyday isn’t the concern of the people. What the people want to know is if he finds the need to orient his body towards Mecca when he does. “He prays everyday” what kind of fools do they think the people are? Muslims pray everyday as well – 5 times!

I don’t give a rat’s ass if he’s a Muslim unless he wants to be President. If he’s the President of the United States, in a time of war, against an enemy that is waging a war in the name of their religion, and that religion is the same one that the President is accused of being a member of, there are questions that need to be answered.

In 1960, many Protestant Americans worried that John F. Kennedy’s Catholic faith would be an impediment to his ability to govern. After-all, who would he be loyal to, the US Constitution which translates into the American people or the Pope. The same should be asked of Obama. Who is he loyal to? The Constitution – which he has a track record of downplaying as a contract of negative liberties – or is he a submissive to Islam? I fear the truth may be that he is a submissive follower of Islam. Especially when he refers to Muhammad’s horror novel as “the holy Qu’ran” and greets Muslims in perfect Arabic.

In 1960, the American press asked the questions and answers were given. John Kennedy WAS elected President and by all accounts his faith never played a direct roll in his governance. However in 2010, nearly 2 years into the Obama Infestation and the American people are still asking the same questions of Barack Hussein Obama. And like all the other questioning of Obama’s past, it gets avoided. Why is it so important for him to shield the American people from his past? Perhaps it is because he’s on a mission that he’s already explained to the American people at $20 a copy. His book “Dreams from My Father” outlines what his father dreamed of for Kenya. Perhaps Junior is following in his absent daddy’s footsteps and wishes to carry on his pappy’s dream in the United States. It’s called Communism.

At a time when the socialist societies of the world are beginning to downsize their governments, Barry O is expanding ours. Why? It fulfills the strategy of instituting socialism outlined by Columbia Professors Richard Cloward and Francis Fox Piven. The Cloward-Piven Strategy to Implement Socialist Revolution was written in 1966 at the height of civil unrest in the United States. Progressives and Socialists believed they could force revolution. The strategy was then and is now to overwhelm the system and cause it to collapse. It’s on its way thanks to Obama’s Keynesian economic policies.

But where is the press?

A Vote for ANY Dem in November is Approval of the Obama Destruction Agenda

The Emperor is on the campaign trail, well sort of as he has been asked to stay clear of those wishing to actually win their seats. Anyway, he’s attempting to convince the American people to keep Democrats in power. His reasoning? Giving the GOP power will return the country back to the policies of George W. Bush. But is this accurate? No. This reasoning is so inaccurate let me count the ways….

First, Obama is President (like it or not) and he is who sets policy not Congress.

Second, George W. Bush couldn’t win in this political environment. Bush is not seen by Conservatives and Libertarians as someone who reflects the common desires of a smaller, less intrusive government. It was the spending of the 109th Congress under the direction of then policy maker George W. Bush which led to the disaster of the 2006 midterms and a repeat of that disaster in 2008 and the election of Obamaramadingdong. Remember the reasoning why every gullible voter was willing to vote for a vague empty suit. The promise of changing the status quo was too much to resist especially when that promise of change is masked by a cloud of ambiguity.

The election of Barack Hussein Obama was a precursor to a statement made by Nancy Pelosi in the days leading up to the approval of the Death Care bill. Remember when she said, “we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what’s in it”? Yeah that statement. Well in relation to the 2008 Presidential election Obama failed to identify what he wanted to change and what he wanted to change it into. He also failed to define in whom or what we should have hope. It was a calculated effort to keep the American voter away from details because if they knew the agenda prior to his election, he would never have gotten elected.

With Death Care the bill got passed so we could find out what was in it and the people do not approve. Likewise, we now know Obama’s change agenda and it too is not approved of.

Progressivism took a 100 year approach to getting their political will which culminated with the election of Obama. His aggressive agenda has alienated the American people who were looking for fiscal responsibility and freedom. Its far reaching intrusion into the lives of the American people are responsible for the creation of the TEA Party.

Speaking of the TEA Party, isn’t it ironic that the largest threat to the Progressive agenda was born out of said agenda? After-all, what exactly IS the TEA Party? Broadly, it is a rejection of Obama Progressivism and its policies.

Congress is polling at 11% which translates into only 11% of the American people believe that the agenda being forwarded by the Congress is in their best interests. The GOP has been out of power for nearly 4 years. The agenda from January 2007 to present has been a Democrat agenda [Read also: that includes the last 2 years of the Bush Administration] not the agenda of the Republican Party.

The GOP has been attempting to reassure the American people and in particular the Conservative “base” of the Party that they have learned their lesson. That remains to be seen. However, compared to the spendaholic ways of the 110th & 111th Congresses, the spending spree of the 109th seems like a spending binge. Sort of like a weekend spending bender that ends on Sunday morning with a hangover that produces promises of reform whereas the spending ways of the current Congress is better explained as being in a state of perpetual spending intoxication. They avoid the impact of the morning after by staying drunk from the night before. No sobering realization of self destruction, no promises of reform. While the GOP has been forced by the American people into a figurative SA (spending anonymous) 12-step program, the Progressive Democrats have no intention of giving up their drug of choice.

As the Emperor is out on the “campaign trail” remember that he only wants you to keep his party in power so they can spend more, tax more, and pass more legislation which erodes even more of your individual liberties. Also remember, he understands that come January 2011, his party’s majority is gone. He is also well aware of the fact that his Presidency is going to be restricted to 1 term. That is the price he was willing to pay for progressing the Progressive agenda.

Q: Will Barack Obama be a one-term president?

A: Yes, he might last that long.

Honest to goodness, the man just does not get it. He might be forced to pull a Palin and resign before his first term is over. He could go off and write his memoirs and build his presidential library. (Both would be half-size, of course.)

The visions of the Fabian Socialists who invaded American academia in the early 20th century have their chance. It is Barack Hussein Obama. If he can’t close the deal before he’s tossed out of office and designated along with Jimmy Carter in the pit known as “the worst US Presidents in US history”, he will have certainly gotten them closer than ever to achieving their ultimate goal in the US, turning it into a full-blown socialist nightmare.

Failing to understand who Obama was in 2008 has resulted in what is occurring now. He can blame Bush all he wants but the truth of the matter is the American people understand that this economy is owned by Barack Hussein Obama and the Progressive leadership of the 111th Congress. No matter how much he tries to re-paint and revise that simple and undeniable truth into “this is all Bush’s fault”, this is his mess and it is getting worse not better due to his neo-socialist/neo-marxist ways.

It is now 2 years later and some of the damage can be controlled if only Congress were controlled by the opposition Party. Perhaps aggressive action can be made by a Republican Congress to curtail some of the more harmful items on the Obama agenda through its power of the purse. But in truth, the Obama years will take at least 18 more years to reverse. Giving Obama and Democrats another 2 years to do more damage double that time frame.

Consequently, if you cast a vote for a Democrat for any office this fall, it will translate into your personal approval of what Obama is doing to this nation. If you cast a vote for anyone, and I mean anyone including Dog Catcher, you are endorsing the complete and utter destruction of the greatest nation this planet has ever experienced. If you think that statement is far fetched, remember what Obama said about the election so Scott Brown. He made the case that it was the same angst with the status quo that swept himself into office which then elected Brown to a traditionally held Democrat seat.

In other words, a Democrat being elected Dog Catcher of your little hamlet will somehow be made to reflect the American people’s endorsement of Democrat policy. So short-circuit that by making sure every Democrat is relegated to political irrelevancy.

Will Annual ‘Teacher Bailout’ Be The Next Federal Entitlement?

According to a well-known Chinese proverb, “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” The Federal government has so usurped the sovereignty of the various states that they have become dependent upon mother government for their very existence. This is the reason why the United States House of Representatives found itself in session today. That and to give Charlie Rangel an opportunity to whine on the House floor about his persecution at the hands of the Ethics Committee.

The White House and Congressional Democrats were all in a tither about getting a $26 Billion state aid packaged passed that Nancy Pelosi felt compelled to call the House back into session during the August recess. The emergency? To get the legislation passed before the school year begins. Why? So those reliable Democrat votes (teachers) don’t lose their jobs.

Is this going to be an annual event? I mean, is this setting the standard for years to come? Will the House and Senate be recalled from their “much needed” summer recess in order to pass “emergency” legislation so that teachers don’t lose their jobs every August from now until the fall of the Republic? 47 of the 50 states are running budget deficits thanks to mismanagement at the state level and federal intrusion. Unfunded mandates from the federal government and federal aid has made the states dependent upon the feds for funding of all aspects of governance. This is NOT how this nation is supposed to work. If anything, it should be reversed. At least that was the intention of the founders.

Education has become the latest dependency class. Soon to follow will be police and fire departments. Although, the aid package passed this afternoon by the House is a general aid package for states that includes funding for police and fire.

Glenn Beck warned several weeks ago that soon we will have a national police force. He went on to say that it won’t be named as such but follow the money trail.

If the Cleveland Police Department accepts federal funding you should fell safe to bet the farm that the feds will have a dominant say in how the CPD conducts its business. The same can be said of the fire departments AND – Teachers.

Conservative pundits – myself included – understand that this is nothing more than another veiled payoff to a major labor union. Employed teachers equal votes for the Democrat majority. Verbose urging from the Emperor increases his popularity among his base, but only his base.

What isn’t widely known about this bill is that it steals money from another federal program in order for it to be paid for. Beginning in 2014, the federal food stamp program will have a reduction in its planned annual increase in order to keep under-performing and junior teachers in their positions for the 2010-2011 school year. When 2014 rolls around, Progressives around the country will be screaming for additional funding for the food stamp program because this bill gutted the planning increase in funding.

What I find interesting is the choice of which federal spending program to raid in order to keep these under-performing and junior liberal teachers working. The food stamp program. A recent report showed that a record number of Americans are receiving benefits from that very program. Approximately 40.5 million to be exact.

What also hasn’t been discussed in public is the fact that funding for these teachers is already in place. Nearly half of the American Robbery and Redistribution Act funds have yet to be spent. It included funding for teachers, police, and fire but yet the Congress of the United States (House and Senate) with urging from the President, thought that new legislation with an additional funding source needed to be passed now – urgently – before the beginning of the school year so that more liberals turn out to the polls on November 2nd to vote for Democrats. There is no other explanation.

Why use existing funding when they can seem to be taking action by passing new legislation. As I said in another post, it’s a shell game.

I predict that next year there will be a push from the White House to bailout the states again. The cries will be that our school children need these teachers in class when in reality Obama needs their votes.

Dems Poised to Feel Wrath of Voters in ’10 Just As GOP Did in ’06 & ’08

Democrats haven’t learned anything from the failures of the GOP in 2006 and 2008. They have consistently gotten it wrong over the last two election cycles. Democrats falsely believed that the rejection of GOP candidates in the past two election cycles were a rejection of policy. They ran on the mantra of the “Culture of Corruption” and won an unstoppable majority.

Was there corruption in the GOP? Yes there was. Many were beginning to get corrupted by the power that Washington D.C. infects. Many were using their offices to gain personally and others were using legislation to insure re-election. The Pork being enjoyed by many Republican members of Congress in the latter years of the Bush Administration led to the downfall of the GOP.

In 2006 Conservative voters had no one to vote for so they stayed home. In the 2008 Presidential race, the choice was between a Progressive Democrat and a Progressive Republican – Socialist or Socialist Lite. Identity politics played a larger roll than ever before in American politics. The euphoria created by the possibility of electing a minority candidate to the Presidency won over voters and rationale lost.

The GOP’s candidate was selected by the progressive main stream media because they all knew that if given the choice between a Democrat and a Liberal Republican, Conservative voters would bail on the Republican as they did in 2006.

Voter intimidation and fraud did play a roll in the 2008 races as well. But yet, the Obama Infestation doesn’t have any interest in making sure those crimes are never again repeated. After-all, they benefited from those crimes.

Since taking office, Obama and Nancy Pelosi have led their party to the far left. The sheer growth of the federal government and the near Imperial powers now granted to the President by this Congress must have the founding fathers rolling in their graves. The result of all this growth in government is record high deficits which are 4 times the size of those that led to the downfall of the GOP in 2006.

The $427 Billion deficit racked up by the Bush Administration in 2005 pales in comparison to $1.42 Trillion 2009 short-fall and seem like nothing in comparison to the projected 2010 deficit of $1.75 Trillion. To put the Bush deficits into context, during his 8 years in office, Bush added $4.9 Trillion to the national debt. If you just take the past two years in to account, Obama has already added $3.17 Trillion. If left unchecked with a hypothetical returning Democrat majority for the next 2 years, Obama’s contribution to the national debt over 4 years in office would be an estimated $6.34 Trillion and likely more.

Debt and corruption were the GOP’s undoing in 2006 and 2008. Now, the Democrats are facing 4 times the debt and double the corruption. The current Treasury Secretary is a known tax cheat. The former Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee is as well as evidenced by his 13 ethics violations and pending criminal indictment (because we all know there is an indictment in the works). Another Democrat member of Congress faces an ethics battle. Pelosi has failed to “drain the swamp” and seems to have encouraged her members to seek out ways to exploit the earmark process.

Nancy Pelosi’s most ethical and most transparent Congress in history is about to fall flat under the weight of its ethics violations and shady back-room deals. Remember what she said about the Death Care bill?

“We have to pass the bill so you can find out what’s in it.”

How about that transparency Nancy?

I won’t hold my breath waiting for her to answer.

Now Pelosi has another shell game in the works. As the school year is about to begin and the financially strapped states have less money to dole out for education, SanFran Nan and her band of miscreants are calling the House back into session in the middle of the August recess in order to pass “emergency” legislation totaling an additional $26 Billion in spending for teachers. Ask the question “why?” since nearly half of the American Robbery and Redistribution Act money is still unspent. After-all, wasn’t that supposed to fund police, firemen, and – umm, who else… that’s right – TEACHERS so they wouldn’t lose their jobs?

People this is nothing more than as cheap game of 3-card Monty. Chase the red queen but there is no queen on the table. It’s a ploy for votes and nothing more. The funds are already allocated to save teachers’ jobs if the Infestation wished to use it; but they don’t. They’d rather Pelosi do a little grand standing in order to buy some more votes and in the process increase the debt a little bit more in order to justify more tax increases in the future. You see if they use already appropriated funding to “save teaching jobs” it doesn’t make headlines. No headlines, no votes.

Before you go to vote on November 2nd remember a couple of very important items.

Obama promised that if the “stimulus” (aka the American Robbery and Redistribution Act) were passed unemployment wouldn’t go any higher than 8%. How’s that 9.5% unemployment feeling America? Or how about the estimated 17% – 24% underemployment for that matter?
Pelosi promised to drain the swamp and yet one Congressman has been sent to prison for taking bribes, and two more are under Ethics Committee investigations and expected to be expelled.
Democrats rode a wave of discontent over Republican deficits in 2006 and 2008 but the current budget deficit is 4 times higher.

And finally I want you to ask yourself a question…

Is your family better off today than you were in 2006?

OH.. before I go. I have a little misconception to clear up.

That surplus that all you Clintonian drones like to point to that Bush destroyed with his deficit spending… That was the brain child of a Republican. Rep. John Kasich of Ohio wrote the budget that created that surplus. Kasich is currently running for Governor of Ohio. And much to the dismay of Obama and Uncle Ted (Strickland), he’s leading in that race. And for the record… Uncle Ted rode that anti-GOP wave in 2006. Remember the quote at the top Uncle Ted.

The Obama’s, Living the High Life as America Sinks Further Into Institutionalized Poverty

On a day when a story in the Boston Globe brings attention to the rising number of Americans living on food stamps, we also see that the First Lady is enjoying a “mother/daughter” trip to Spain’s Riviera. Not only that, but the State Department had to remove a warning to African-Americans about traveling in Spain just as Obama’s plane hit the runway in Spain.

Michelle, her daughter, entourage, and security are taking nearly half a of a 5-star resort over as 40.5 million Americans now are dependent upon the Department of Agriculture to eat. The round-trip flight to Spain is estimated to cost in excess of $148,000. That figure does not include the cost of 60 rooms in the Hotel Villa Padierna in Marbella, meals, ground transportation, or the costs of the security detail. The hotel only has 129 rooms and yet the smallish Obama entourage is using 60 of them.

The Hotel Villa Padierna in Marbella is rated as one of the world’s top 30 hotels. I wonder how well those who have lost their jobs on the Gulf Coast due to her husband’s oil drilling moratorium are living these days? Are they living in conditions that Michelle Obama is enjoying this week? Somehow I sincerely doubt it.

Also announced today is a rise in new jobless benefits claims. That’s right, more people than expected filed for new benefits this past week. Approximately 479,000 people have found themselves out of work over the past week and the First Lady is living the high life as 479,000 people join the ranks of the unemployed (nearly 10%) and under-employed (estimated between 17 and 24%).

What surprises me is that the article outlining the increase in new jobless claims indicates that the rise in unemployment was a surprise. What? We have a President who is doing his level best at destroying the private sector and someone is actually surprised?!?

The best passage in the article was…

On Friday, the Labor Department will issue the July jobs report and economists expect it will show the nation lost a net total of 65,000 jobs. That includes the end of about 150,000 temporary census jobs.

Umm… how can there be a net loss of 65k jobs when the government automatically lost 150k census jobs? [confused look]

The next paragraph (a single sentence) of the article attempts to clear the discrepancy up a bit, however the numbers do not add up…

Excluding government employment, private companies are expected to add a net total of 90,000 jobs.

Ok, the government expects the private sector to cover most of the government jobs they are shedding. Where? I thought it was government who had the power to solve all of our problems. [another confused look]

Further into the article we learn that their estimates are based on the “back to school” season which then leads into the holiday shopping season. Ok… We are supposed to think that low paying retail jobs are going to sustain our economy? In whose fantasy?

The truth is this country is shedding many established higher paying jobs directly due to this President and his Infestation’s war on wealth. His do as I say not as I do mentality when it comes to the word sacrifice and his love affair with high taxes are driving this nation’s economy into the ground faster than the ValuJet Flight 592 crash in Florida in 1996. And while he personally does his best to destroy America, his wife is enjoying an all-expenses paid trip to a resort in paradise.

And where is Barry? He’s celebrating his 49th birthday “alone” at the family’s Chicago home. Yeah, I believe that one. Perhaps he’s trolling the streets of Chicago for some assistance in some of his more lurid vices as previously rumored. Why else would he be “ok” with his ENTIRE family being away from him on his birthday. After-all, he has assumed the office of the President (legitimately or illegitimately).

Democrats are right. There IS two Americas. But it isn’t rich versus poor. It’s actually the Ruling Class versus the Proletariat. As Michelle figuratively says, “let them eat cake”, she’s dining on fresh sea food in a Mediterranean resort with a few of her closest friends. What better example of the Ruling Class living off the backs of the Proletariat can we ever possibly have?

Progressivism’s Failures Mean Long-Term Consequences for the USA

We tried to warn you. Bloggers like myself, talk radio (Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Michael Medved, Laura Ingraham, and others), and Conservative politicians all tried to warn the American voters not to put Barry O in charge of this country. We told you that he was the most liberal member of the Senate, yet you voted for him. We told you about his associations with Rev. Wright, but you still pulled the lever, marked the circle, or punched the card for Barry and Joey. We told you what their agenda was even though they avoided discussing their agenda, and you still cast that vote. Do you want it back?

After his election, many on my side of the fence looked at it through rose colored glasses. Perhaps an Obama Presidency would be the final nail in the coffin of Progressivism. This glass-half-full mentality has gotten us into trouble before. Need I remind you of Jimmy Carter? Yet this country then elected Bill Clinton to two terms and then went one step further down the neo-Socialist Progressive path and elected Barack Obama. I am convinced that the American voter doesn’t have the ability to think beyond the moment to see past the glitz and glitter of the made-up pig known as the Progressive Democrat.

Barack Obama got elected by being vague and spewing platitudes. The words “hope” and “change” were heard so much that you should have begun to question their relevance. But you didn’t. That same group who were warning you not to vote for this snake oil salesman tried to question his use of these words. “Hope” in what? “Change” what from what and to what? But neither you nor the charlatan you eventually voted for cared to answer the question. But now we know.

He wants to “change” a once thriving American economy into an Orwellian nightmare. He’s a student the Cloward-Piven strategy for effecting “change”. You must destroy the economic system of the United States in order to create an emergency by which you make the “change”. You do this by overwhelming the system and allowing it to collapse. Once it is in a free fall, you sell yourself as the only “hope” of restoring stability. The answer? Socialism. Complete with its Big Brother paranoia, class envy, and massive poverty and despair. You create a religion of government and remove the need or legality of private worship of any other god. – Enter the Greek Columns and speeches about making the oceans recede.

Problem with Progressivism and the utilization of a Cloward-Piven strategy is there can be no half measures. Cloward-Piven requires a sharp increase in the number of people in the dependency class, swamping the system in order to facilitate its collapse.

The first step for Obama was the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (aka: Porkulus) -which I affectionately call the American Robbery and Redistribution Act because that would actually be truth in advertising.

The Recovery Act put forward a fraud of epic proportions. It claimed to be a jobs creating bill which would repair America’s crumbling infrastructure by “saving” or “creating” much needed jobs during the economic downturn. Problem, it hasn’t “saved” or “created” anything. It has in fact, put several companies out of business or influenced them to move from their established locations to other cities or states. Case in point, NCR relocated from Dayton, Ohio to South Carolina because of incentives embedded in the Porkulus. How on earth can anyone say with a straight face that prompting NCR to relocated “saved” or “created” anything but more poverty in Dayton, OH? - A city which Obama carried heavily in 2008 incidentally.

Aside from being fraudulent on its face, the Recovery Act also included massive payoffs to Democrat supporters in Organized Labor as did the Chrysler and GM bailouts, the health care legislation, and Cap and Trade (which is still stalled in the Senate). Andy Stern former President of the Service Employees International Union still holds the record for being the most frequent visitor to the Obama White House visiting the executive mansion more times than any other non-Administration official. Why?

It is my belief that after the collapse, the only way you will be able to find meaningful employment will be to join one of Obama’s favorite unions. Being a union worker will make you a Party worker. Party workers keep the Party in power especially when only Party workers are earning anything to contribute to the Party.

Democrats like to separate the American people into classes. They do this so that they can foster class envy which empowers them. If they can pit those who are impoverished against those who have wealth, they benefit by playing to the masses whom they’ve co-opted. Obama did this during his campaign by saying that if you earn less than $250k or less than $200k or – I don’t know, he kept changing the number – that “your taxes won’t go up one single dime.” Anyone still believe that fable?

House and Senate Democrats – you know, the ruling Party – are poised to allow the Bush era tax cuts to expire on December 31, 2010. This my friends includes the lowered 10% bracket (it goes away entirely), taxes on the middle class, and the rich will get soaked. You know those evil rich people. They don’t deserve to have that much money. Never mind that it is the rich who create jobs and invest in our economy. Certainly those who are struggling to feed their families do not have enough disposable income to invest in business. And neither will the so-called rich once Obama and his ilk get done with them.

Did you know that if you died in 2009, your estate tax bill was 45% of your estate? Under the Bush Tax Cuts, if you die in 2010 your estate tax bill is 0%. Meaning, your heirs get to enjoy the fruits of your labor and savings not the federal government. However, if you were to die in 2011 and the Bush Tax Cuts are allowed to expire, your tax bill will be 55% of your estate.

Did you know that if you are a working poor person in the United States today, your federal tax liability is 10% of your adjusted gross income? But on January 1, 2011 if the Bush Tax Cuts expire your tax liability goes up by half and your new liability is 15% of that same amount. You didn’t get a raise, but the government is going to take more of your hard earned money. How difficult is it to put bread on the table now? Imagine how much more difficult that will be when you are bringing less home.

I’ve only briefly touched on what I see as failures of Progressivism there is much much more I could mention but this post would be a longer read than Webster’s Unabridged Dictionary. My point is, Progressivism has been a failure since its conception. Americans in the 1920s began to realize this truth so Progressives had to relabel themselves so they became liberals. Now that liberal has become a bad word in American politics, they’ve reinvented themselves again (on the surface) by relabeling again to Progressives. Is anyone actually falling for their shell game anymore? Like Obama’s inability to settle on a defining income level to label someone “rich” Progressives consistently have a need to reinvent themselves and their policies. We see this with their ever evolving think tanks and activist organizations. ACORN has “gone out of business” but another community activist group spawned in its place, often times in the same office fronts, doing the same exact work. It is nothing less than deception.

We told you that candidate Obama was an empty suit. He needed to be. Because if you had known what he is and what he stood for then, he would have been unelectable. We can’t throw him out quite yet but we can toss his political allies.

No Democrat running for re-election this year, at any level of government, deserves to be returned to office. They ARE the problem. And it is a problem that we will be dealing with for a very long time.

UK Announces Plans To Decentralize Health Care System

Is The Emperor Listening?

Now that The Emperor has used a recess appointment to get his Health Care Czar, you know – the one that likes the UK’s health system, I wonder what is going through his mind as he reads that the UK is making plans to decentralize their system. According to several sources, the UK’s new Coalition government is in the process of making plans which they say will save an estimated $30 Billion a year in “efficiency savings” and reduce administrative costs by 45% by 2014. How do they plan on doing this? Decentralizing the National Health Care System and putting local General Practitioners in charge.

From the New York Times…

Practical details of the plan are still sketchy. But its aim is clear: to shift control of England’s $160 billion annual health budget from a centralized bureaucracy to doctors at the local level. Under the plan, $100 billion to $125 billion a year would be meted out to general practitioners, who would use the money to buy services from hospitals and other health care providers.

The plan would also shrink the bureaucratic apparatus, in keeping with the government’s goal to effect $30 billion in “efficiency savings” in the health budget by 2014 and to reduce administrative costs by 45 percent. Tens of thousands of jobs would be lost because layers of bureaucracy would be abolished.

Yet another example of Europe moving to the right as Obama forces America to the left.

Leftist policies Do Not Work but the Moron in Chief is so stuck in a 1960′s neo-Socialist mentality that he is incapable of making the necessary adjustments as Europe seems to be willing to make. The Euro-Socialism that American leftists wish to emulate is in decline at a time when they are finally in a position to implement the failed policies which are drawing out the global economic crisis.

The window is shifting America and we are all about to get caught as the sash comes crashing down. The way it generally works is the left demands outrageous leaps to the left which can’t get passed because the right blocks them. So they compromise and take a slight movement to the left instead. But since the beginning to this Infestation, aided by the leftist majorities in both houses of Congress, those giant leaps have been made in spite of the will of the American people. Poll after poll shows the public’s resistance to the measures put forward by this President and this Congress but they get their entire wish list anyway.

They have abandoned their gentle nudging in favor of massive shoving and so far it’s worked because nothing could be done to stop them. However, November 4th is quickly approaching and many Democrats are going to be facing forced retirement because of the neo-Socialists’ [read also: Barry Obama, SanFran Nan, Dingy Harry et. al.] aggressive agenda. The major worry for Conservative AND Independent America is what the lame-duck Congress will attempt.

On their agenda in the event of a loss of their majority is…

Tax Increases under the guise of balancing a budget that has yet to be passed and couldn’t be balanced if they did pass one. And no, you won’t be exempted because you earn less than $250k a year. They want to soak everybody.

My question is now and will also be in November and December, are the Republicans willing to put up enough of an opposition to stop it. It will take Every Single Republican to reject this. In the House, it will take some Democrats who are unwilling to play the role of a petulant child.

The American people have been speaking LOUDLY and the Democrat Congress has had their hearing aids turned off. They erroneously stand by the notion that what they have done was what the people wanted. If there were ever a reason to never put Democrats in a position of power – this President and this Congress is that reason.

So to answer my initial question…

NO, he isn’t listening. He’s the Obamassiah. He knows all and sees all. His is the only vision for the future. Too bad it leads to conditions similar to those experienced by Detective Thorn in ‘Soylent Green‘ or Winston Smith in ‘1984‘.

Obama, House and Senate Dems, and November 2nd

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs let the cat out of the bag last Sunday when he stated the obvious – much to Nancy Pelosi’s dismay – that Democrats might lose the House in November. Ya think?!?

Truth be told, it isn’t inconceivable that Republicans could pick up both the House and the Senate this November. If there is any justice in the world, they will. However, before we begin to prognosticate about how many seats in each house the GOP might pick up, let’s make sure we stay grounded.

As my best bud Kender says, we cannot underestimate the power the left has over voters. We cannot count on people’s unhappiness today to translate into opposition votes on election day. Especially, if Republicans screw up. In my poking around the net – something that I’ve stayed away from for far too long – I found an article written by Dr. Charles Krauthammer in which he warns Republicans not to underestimate Obama.

In his article he alludes to the idea that Obama’s agenda is a two-step plan to undo “Reaganism” replacing it with “Obamaism”.

Act One is over. The stimulus, Obamacare, financial reform have exhausted his first-term mandate. It will bear no more heavy lifting. And the Democrats will pay the price for ideological overreaching by losing one or both houses, whether de facto or de jure. The rest of the first term will be spent consolidating these gains (writing the regulations, for example) and preparing for Act Two.

The next burst of ideological energy — massive regulation of the energy economy, federalizing higher education and “comprehensive” immigration reform (i.e., amnesty) — will require a second mandate, meaning re-election in 2012.

What Dr. Krauthammer is saying makes sense when you factor in how Obama’s key legislation has been crafted. ObamaCare doesn’t take full effect until 2014. Why?

We may have underestimated this political novice. America has short-term memory loss when it comes to our Presidential election cycles. How else can you explain how Clinton served two terms? All the harmful legislation championed by Obama in the past 18 months has time to be forgotten over the next 2 1/2 years. If he sails into a second term and he can stymie a new Republican majority (worst case for him) enough to render it impotent like Bush did with the first two years of the Democrat majority, then it is possible to complete his final death plan for America.

Beginning the day after the 2012 election, if granted his wish Obama will begin his slam-dunk of capitalism followed by the end of Democracy as we know it. He is not only determined to go down in history as the first black President of the United States, I truly believe he would prefer to go down as the last democratically elected President. My evidence? Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals.

Alinsky states in his book that the end game is a Dictator led Communist society. As a student and teacher of Alinsky’s rules, Barry Obama knows this is the goal and sees himself as the completion of Alinsky’s dream.

I honestly believe everything has gone according to plan. What he hasn’t counted on to this point is the level of opposition within the electorate. This level of opposition MUST be maintained. Republicans – even if they prevail in large numbers this November – MUST, MUST, MUST keep Obama’s political short-comings in the minds of the electorate all the way up to the day they cast a vote for the next President. And I mean NEXT President because this guy can’t live in that house past 12 noon, January 20, 2013. NOT ONE MORE DAY.

Much to the dismay of House and Senate Dems, they did not know that many of them were expected to be handed their pink slips come November 2, 2010. People like Max Baucas and Lincoln Chafee were expected to be replaced by a Republican all along. They just didn’t know it.

What wasn’t planned was people like Barbara Boxer, Russ Feingold, and Harry Reid being in danger of losing their previously “secure” seats. But those seats ARE in danger. Reid’s ability to keep that seat is further in doubt by the hour but he keeps on championing that hard-left agenda.

There is an additional danger when the left loses Congress in November. in the month and a half left in the current Congress, the Democrats who lose in November will have no incentive to oppose Obama’s “lame duck strategy”. Pass all the most harmful legislation before going home on their full pensions. Cap and Tax, Amnesty, Card Check, and more kickback pork to labor unions.

Bottom line…

If Obama sees his chances of obtaining that second term slimmer in November than he does today, he’ll go for the prize before the current Congress exits. And barring a 2/3rds majority in both Houses, there isn’t thing 1 Republicans can do about it without shutting down the government – WHICH – may become necessary to break the President. But at what cost politically?

Finally, some predictions…

Robert Gibbs, David Axelrod, Rham Emanuel, and possibly Robert Gates will be gone before the end of the year. Gibbs probably before the midterms.
Hillary Clinton dumps her job by the end of 2011 and challenges Obama for the Democrat Nomination for President in 2012. If she does, she wins it. Why end of 2011? She’ll wait to see how badly Obama’s popularity tanks (and it will) due to the “lame duck strategy” and poise to strike at that vulnerability. At least if she’s smart – and we all know she is.
Republicans take a clear majority in the House in November. In the Senate Republicans secure between 49 and 52 seats. They’ll either fall short of a majority by 1 seat or they’ll take a majority by no more than 2.
If the economy continues to stagnate, Tim Geithner will be out in 2011. Eric Holder is already under a heat lamp due to his failure to prosecute crimes committed by minorities. I predict he’s out by tax day 2011. These resignations will be the result of House and Senate (should Republicans gain a majority) investigations of both.
Kagen gets confirmed by a slim majority but her nomination will be subjected to a “filibuster” (blocked cloture vote).
Should the GOP gain a slim majority in the Senate, Senate investigations into all of Obama’s Czars will begin in 2011 as they are operating as a shadow government as an intentional effort to circumvent the advice and consent of the US Senate. Result will be legislation banning such “special advisers” paid using taxpayer funding.

Let’s see how close I am. Shall we?
