A Vote for ANY Dem in November is Approval of the Obama Destruction Agenda

The Emperor is on the campaign trail, well sort of as he has been asked to stay clear of those wishing to actually win their seats. Anyway, he’s attempting to convince the American people to keep Democrats in power. His reasoning? Giving the GOP power will return the country back to the policies of George W. Bush. But is this accurate? No. This reasoning is so inaccurate let me count the ways….

First, Obama is President (like it or not) and he is who sets policy not Congress.

Second, George W. Bush couldn’t win in this political environment. Bush is not seen by Conservatives and Libertarians as someone who reflects the common desires of a smaller, less intrusive government. It was the spending of the 109th Congress under the direction of then policy maker George W. Bush which led to the disaster of the 2006 midterms and a repeat of that disaster in 2008 and the election of Obamaramadingdong. Remember the reasoning why every gullible voter was willing to vote for a vague empty suit. The promise of changing the status quo was too much to resist especially when that promise of change is masked by a cloud of ambiguity.

The election of Barack Hussein Obama was a precursor to a statement made by Nancy Pelosi in the days leading up to the approval of the Death Care bill. Remember when she said, “we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what’s in it”? Yeah that statement. Well in relation to the 2008 Presidential election Obama failed to identify what he wanted to change and what he wanted to change it into. He also failed to define in whom or what we should have hope. It was a calculated effort to keep the American voter away from details because if they knew the agenda prior to his election, he would never have gotten elected.

With Death Care the bill got passed so we could find out what was in it and the people do not approve. Likewise, we now know Obama’s change agenda and it too is not approved of.

Progressivism took a 100 year approach to getting their political will which culminated with the election of Obama. His aggressive agenda has alienated the American people who were looking for fiscal responsibility and freedom. Its far reaching intrusion into the lives of the American people are responsible for the creation of the TEA Party.

Speaking of the TEA Party, isn’t it ironic that the largest threat to the Progressive agenda was born out of said agenda? After-all, what exactly IS the TEA Party? Broadly, it is a rejection of Obama Progressivism and its policies.

Congress is polling at 11% which translates into only 11% of the American people believe that the agenda being forwarded by the Congress is in their best interests. The GOP has been out of power for nearly 4 years. The agenda from January 2007 to present has been a Democrat agenda [Read also: that includes the last 2 years of the Bush Administration] not the agenda of the Republican Party.

The GOP has been attempting to reassure the American people and in particular the Conservative “base” of the Party that they have learned their lesson. That remains to be seen. However, compared to the spendaholic ways of the 110th & 111th Congresses, the spending spree of the 109th seems like a spending binge. Sort of like a weekend spending bender that ends on Sunday morning with a hangover that produces promises of reform whereas the spending ways of the current Congress is better explained as being in a state of perpetual spending intoxication. They avoid the impact of the morning after by staying drunk from the night before. No sobering realization of self destruction, no promises of reform. While the GOP has been forced by the American people into a figurative SA (spending anonymous) 12-step program, the Progressive Democrats have no intention of giving up their drug of choice.

As the Emperor is out on the “campaign trail” remember that he only wants you to keep his party in power so they can spend more, tax more, and pass more legislation which erodes even more of your individual liberties. Also remember, he understands that come January 2011, his party’s majority is gone. He is also well aware of the fact that his Presidency is going to be restricted to 1 term. That is the price he was willing to pay for progressing the Progressive agenda.

A: Yes, he might last that long.

Honest to goodness, the man just does not get it. He might be forced to pull a Palin and resign before his first term is over. He could go off and write his memoirs and build his presidential library. (Both would be half-size, of course.)

The visions of the Fabian Socialists who invaded American academia in the early 20th century have their chance. It is Barack Hussein Obama. If he can’t close the deal before he’s tossed out of office and designated along with Jimmy Carter in the pit known as “the worst US Presidents in US history”, he will have certainly gotten them closer than ever to achieving their ultimate goal in the US, turning it into a full-blown socialist nightmare.

Failing to understand who Obama was in 2008 has resulted in what is occurring now. He can blame Bush all he wants but the truth of the matter is the American people understand that this economy is owned by Barack Hussein Obama and the Progressive leadership of the 111th Congress. No matter how much he tries to re-paint and revise that simple and undeniable truth into “this is all Bush’s fault”, this is his mess and it is getting worse not better due to his neo-socialist/neo-marxist ways.

It is now 2 years later and some of the damage can be controlled if only Congress were controlled by the opposition Party. Perhaps aggressive action can be made by a Republican Congress to curtail some of the more harmful items on the Obama agenda through its power of the purse. But in truth, the Obama years will take at least 18 more years to reverse. Giving Obama and Democrats another 2 years to do more damage double that time frame.

Consequently, if you cast a vote for a Democrat for any office this fall, it will translate into your personal approval of what Obama is doing to this nation. If you cast a vote for anyone, and I mean anyone including Dog Catcher, you are endorsing the complete and utter destruction of the greatest nation this planet has ever experienced. If you think that statement is far fetched, remember what Obama said about the election so Scott Brown. He made the case that it was the same angst with the status quo that swept himself into office which then elected Brown to a traditionally held Democrat seat.

In other words, a Democrat being elected Dog Catcher of your little hamlet will somehow be made to reflect the American people’s endorsement of Democrat policy. So short-circuit that by making sure every Democrat is relegated to political irrelevancy.

Progressivism’s Failures Mean Long-Term Consequences for the USA

We tried to warn you. Bloggers like myself, talk radio (Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Michael Medved, Laura Ingraham, and others), and Conservative politicians all tried to warn the American voters not to put Barry O in charge of this country. We told you that he was the most liberal member of the Senate, yet you voted for him. We told you about his associations with Rev. Wright, but you still pulled the lever, marked the circle, or punched the card for Barry and Joey. We told you what their agenda was even though they avoided discussing their agenda, and you still cast that vote. Do you want it back?

After his election, many on my side of the fence looked at it through rose colored glasses. Perhaps an Obama Presidency would be the final nail in the coffin of Progressivism. This glass-half-full mentality has gotten us into trouble before. Need I remind you of Jimmy Carter? Yet this country then elected Bill Clinton to two terms and then went one step further down the neo-Socialist Progressive path and elected Barack Obama. I am convinced that the American voter doesn’t have the ability to think beyond the moment to see past the glitz and glitter of the made-up pig known as the Progressive Democrat.

Barack Obama got elected by being vague and spewing platitudes. The words “hope” and “change” were heard so much that you should have begun to question their relevance. But you didn’t. That same group who were warning you not to vote for this snake oil salesman tried to question his use of these words. “Hope” in what? “Change” what from what and to what? But neither you nor the charlatan you eventually voted for cared to answer the question. But now we know.

He wants to “change” a once thriving American economy into an Orwellian nightmare. He’s a student the Cloward-Piven strategy for effecting “change”. You must destroy the economic system of the United States in order to create an emergency by which you make the “change”. You do this by overwhelming the system and allowing it to collapse. Once it is in a free fall, you sell yourself as the only “hope” of restoring stability. The answer? Socialism. Complete with its Big Brother paranoia, class envy, and massive poverty and despair. You create a religion of government and remove the need or legality of private worship of any other god. – Enter the Greek Columns and speeches about making the oceans recede.

Problem with Progressivism and the utilization of a Cloward-Piven strategy is there can be no half measures. Cloward-Piven requires a sharp increase in the number of people in the dependency class, swamping the system in order to facilitate its collapse.

The first step for Obama was the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (aka: Porkulus) -which I affectionately call the American Robbery and Redistribution Act because that would actually be truth in advertising.

The Recovery Act put forward a fraud of epic proportions. It claimed to be a jobs creating bill which would repair America’s crumbling infrastructure by “saving” or “creating” much needed jobs during the economic downturn. Problem, it hasn’t “saved” or “created” anything. It has in fact, put several companies out of business or influenced them to move from their established locations to other cities or states. Case in point, NCR relocated from Dayton, Ohio to South Carolina because of incentives embedded in the Porkulus. How on earth can anyone say with a straight face that prompting NCR to relocated “saved” or “created” anything but more poverty in Dayton, OH? - A city which Obama carried heavily in 2008 incidentally.

Aside from being fraudulent on its face, the Recovery Act also included massive payoffs to Democrat supporters in Organized Labor as did the Chrysler and GM bailouts, the health care legislation, and Cap and Trade (which is still stalled in the Senate). Andy Stern former President of the Service Employees International Union still holds the record for being the most frequent visitor to the Obama White House visiting the executive mansion more times than any other non-Administration official. Why?

It is my belief that after the collapse, the only way you will be able to find meaningful employment will be to join one of Obama’s favorite unions. Being a union worker will make you a Party worker. Party workers keep the Party in power especially when only Party workers are earning anything to contribute to the Party.

Democrats like to separate the American people into classes. They do this so that they can foster class envy which empowers them. If they can pit those who are impoverished against those who have wealth, they benefit by playing to the masses whom they’ve co-opted. Obama did this during his campaign by saying that if you earn less than $250k or less than $200k or – I don’t know, he kept changing the number – that “your taxes won’t go up one single dime.” Anyone still believe that fable?

House and Senate Democrats – you know, the ruling Party – are poised to allow the Bush era tax cuts to expire on December 31, 2010. This my friends includes the lowered 10% bracket (it goes away entirely), taxes on the middle class, and the rich will get soaked. You know those evil rich people. They don’t deserve to have that much money. Never mind that it is the rich who create jobs and invest in our economy. Certainly those who are struggling to feed their families do not have enough disposable income to invest in business. And neither will the so-called rich once Obama and his ilk get done with them.

Did you know that if you died in 2009, your estate tax bill was 45% of your estate? Under the Bush Tax Cuts, if you die in 2010 your estate tax bill is 0%. Meaning, your heirs get to enjoy the fruits of your labor and savings not the federal government. However, if you were to die in 2011 and the Bush Tax Cuts are allowed to expire, your tax bill will be 55% of your estate.

Did you know that if you are a working poor person in the United States today, your federal tax liability is 10% of your adjusted gross income? But on January 1, 2011 if the Bush Tax Cuts expire your tax liability goes up by half and your new liability is 15% of that same amount. You didn’t get a raise, but the government is going to take more of your hard earned money. How difficult is it to put bread on the table now? Imagine how much more difficult that will be when you are bringing less home.

I’ve only briefly touched on what I see as failures of Progressivism there is much much more I could mention but this post would be a longer read than Webster’s Unabridged Dictionary. My point is, Progressivism has been a failure since its conception. Americans in the 1920s began to realize this truth so Progressives had to relabel themselves so they became liberals. Now that liberal has become a bad word in American politics, they’ve reinvented themselves again (on the surface) by relabeling again to Progressives. Is anyone actually falling for their shell game anymore? Like Obama’s inability to settle on a defining income level to label someone “rich” Progressives consistently have a need to reinvent themselves and their policies. We see this with their ever evolving think tanks and activist organizations. ACORN has “gone out of business” but another community activist group spawned in its place, often times in the same office fronts, doing the same exact work. It is nothing less than deception.

We told you that candidate Obama was an empty suit. He needed to be. Because if you had known what he is and what he stood for then, he would have been unelectable. We can’t throw him out quite yet but we can toss his political allies.

No Democrat running for re-election this year, at any level of government, deserves to be returned to office. They ARE the problem. And it is a problem that we will be dealing with for a very long time.

Obama “The Jobs Killer” and Uncle Teddy – Ohio’s Recipe for Disaster

Many of you know already that I refer to Barack Hussein Obama as “The Emperor”; however, I also have a nickname for the Governor of Ohio that is just as scathing. I call Ted Strickland “Uncle Ted or Uncle Teddy” in the same mold as “Uncle Ho” for Ho Chi Minh. I mention this only to put the title of this post into context.

Earlier today, I was reading an editorial written by Wayne Allyn Root that appeared in the Las Vegas Review-Journal in which the author ripped apart The Emperor as being “Obama “The Jobs Killer”. He said…

Obama is as hopeless, helpless, clueless and bankrupt of good ideas as the manager of the Chicago Cubs in late September. This “community organizer” knows as much about private-sector jobs as Pamela Anderson knows about nuclear physics.

It’s time to call Obama what he is: The Great Jobs Killer. With his massive spending and tax hikes — rewarding big government and big unions, while punishing taxpayers and business owners — Obama has killed jobs, he has killed motivation to create new jobs, he has killed the motivation to invest in new businesses, or expand old ones. With all this killing, Obama should be given the top spot on the FBI’s Most Wanted List.

Not a word of these passages do I disagree with for the record. However, if Obama deserves “the top spot on the FBI’s Most Wanted List” Uncle Teddy deserves a spot right next to him.

Since he assumed the post of Ohio’s Chief Executive, he has so severely mismanaged our state budget that libraries in this state are operating under reduced hours, mental hospitals have been closed, museums have had to find new sources of funding, and the state’s largest inland man-made lake is polluted with an unknown substance which has caused the formation of two types of algae that are expelling neuro-toxic gasses. On top of all of this malfeasance, the state of Ohio has been hemorrhaging jobs during Uncle Ted’s watch to a tune of 500,000 jobs that will NEVER return. NCR has left the state utilizing Obama’s Porkulus Package to relocate to another state, DHL is gone, and GM Moraine is closed taking with it many large and small support companies. Yet he has the bold-faced audacity to run for another term?!?

Since I have brought up the subject of the polluting of Grand Lake St. Marys, let me add that the local population has a few yet unproven theories about what may have been the root cause.

A few years ago when gasoline prices spiked near $5.00 per gallon, many in this country were touting ethanol as a potential source of clean-cheap fuel. Problem – the production of ethanol is not exactly clean.

During the distillation process, a bi-product mash is produced. Rather than refining that mash down, a local ethanol plant was distributing it to local farmers to spread on their fields. The idea was that it is made from corn so it should be safe for the soil. That may be, but it isn’t safe for ground water. Some of the fields which were treated with this substance are within a couple of dozen yards of Grand Lake St. Marys. Locals are speculating that it was this substance that probably leached into the lake which is causing the release of these neuro-toxins. Not to mention, the air quality around the lake is horrendous.

The State has issued a warning about the lake. No swimming, no fishing, and if you use the lake for sport, do not come in contact with the water. Wonderful! Makes me want to jump on a SeaDoo for an afternoon in the sun! NOT!

How about we return to reason? How about the people of the state deciding to not allow an inept political hack like Strickland to remain in charge? How about electing someone who has a plan to return our state to economic stability? How about electing someone who authored the budget that resulted in the federal budget surplus that Bill Clinton is so often credited with? That person is former United States Congressman John Kasich.

John has a plan to return Ohio to economic stability. Uncle Ted doesn’t. John has a plan to attract new business to Ohio. Uncle Ted doesn’t. John doesn’t see the solution to the state’s budget deficit in new and expanded taxes. Uncle Ted does.

So how about November 2nd being Uncle Ted’s notice to clean out his desk? Elect John Kasich because our state needs someone with a plan.

[NOTE] The ethanol plant cited in this post was closed in 2008 due to economic insolvency. Define that as ethanol being economically nonviable.

AZ Immigration Law Opposition Ignorant of It

Over the past week or so, a steady stream of news accounts documenting the Infestation’s complete ignorance to the Arizona Immigration Law speaks volumes about what this President and his people think of the rest of America. Their seemingly uniform opposition and condemnation of a law that none of them have even bothered to read is the epitome of arrogance.

A pattern is emerging about this President and his people that is rather unflattering to say the least. From the time when he unilaterally condemned the Cambridge Police for acting “stupidly” in the Henry Louis Gates dust-up, Mr. Obama set the narrative for his reign as Commander-in-Chief. “Take your ques from the Huffington Post, the Daily KOS, Keith Olbermann, and Chris Matthews, never mind the truth just get a statement out. We’ll worry about altering the public perception of what is true later.” [note: links omitted intentionally]

Yes, I accuse this Infestation of attempting to alter the perception of truth. Like the fictional “Oceania” in George Orwell’s ‘Nineteen-Eighty-Four’, this President and his Infestation thinks it can alter your perception of the facts by changing the language and skewing the narrative; and they have become frustrated when they meet opposition to their shell game.

Last Thursday we learned that Attorney General Eric Holder never read the Arizona Immigration Law prior to his statements condemning it. In the past few days, we have learned that Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano hasn’t read it either even though she says that she wouldn’t have signed it. We also find out that at least one key member of the State Department also hasn’t read the law [see video]. This revelation comes after the Emperor apologized to China for our “human rights violations” due to its passage.

The following is a video of Assistant Secretary of State P.J. Crowley admitting that he hasn’t read the Arizona law but the law will lead to racial profiling. How can he say that if he hasn’t read it? H/T: Breitbart.tv

This President and his Infestation aren’t concerned with the truth, they’ll tell you what the truth is. At least that is their attitude. Your resistance, however, confuses them. “How dare you not believe them! How dare you believe the opposition to Obama’s Progressive “fundamental” destruction of America!”

The T.E.A. Party is growing and, dare I say, includes people who actually voted for Obama. People are realizing that the intoxicating affects of Obamania have worn off and it has left the mother of all hangovers behind. Unemployment numbers are unacceptably high. The deficit has quadrupled in a single year. The National Debt is unsustainable. But never mind all that! Our prodigal President’s answer to everything is to not only continue to spend more money and raise taxes, but to create new taxes as well.

Obama, his Infestation, and their surrogates in this real life “Ministry of Truth” (aka: the main stream media) are forced to oppose anything that becomes an impediment to the legalization of millions of new Democrat voters. That’s right. Their opposition to the Arizona law is all about votes in 2012 nothing more. That is why they don’t need to bother to read the Arizona Law. They will just oppose it on its face because it is a problem for Obama in 2012.

How Awake Are The People – Ohio Issue 1 Is The Gauge [UPDATED]

My question is a simple one. In a year when the American people as a whole seem to be on top of the out of control spending in Washington, I’m interested in finding out if this fiscal awareness will translate down into state and local races. At issue? Ohio Issue 1.

On the surface Issue 1 seems rather harmless. Increase funding for the Third Frontier Program without raising taxes. WOW! Increased spending on what seems to be a popular state funded program without raising taxes? How is this possible?

The answer is… debt.

Last year Uncle Ted decreased funding for libraries and museums in Ohio and laid-off thousands of state workers due to the budget deficit. When he took office in 2007, T-Shirt Ted closed 4 state mental hospitals – because of funding. But now we are to believe that Issue 1 – which by-the-way they have erroneously camouflaged as a jobs issue – will not increase taxes but will increase funding. If this is true, then where is the money coming from? Debt is the only answer.

To be honest, until this came up I wasn’t aware of what the Third Frontier Program was so I looked it up. It isn’t really a jobs plan as the political ads would have you believe. It is a state funded internship program. At least that is all I’ve been able to find on the subject. So for all their claims that it will increase jobs in Ohio – I’m a bit sure that is what the Dominos ads call “puffery”.

According to Merriam-Webster:

Puffery – : exaggerated commendation especially for promotional purposes

In other words- hype. OH! Sort of like ~~Emperor~~ President Obama.

Ohio Issue 1 is the gauge. The political gauge of just how closely the electorate is watching the fiscal imbalances not only in Washington, but at the state capital as well.

Established in 2002, our program links Ohio students with rewarding internship opportunities that provide great hands-on experience within Ohio’s private sector business community. Our goal is to build a young, talented workforce for the future and assist students in gaining valuable work experiences that can lead to permanent full-time employment in Ohio after graduation.

The program will reimburse up to 50 percent of the intern’s wage, or no more than $3,000 for a 12-month period. Following an intern’s graduation, your firm will have the opportunity to offer full-time employment to an individual who is well prepared for a future career with your organization. emphasis mine

As I stated above – puffery. The claims of increasing Ohio jobs are misleading. But this follows a pattern of dishonesty utilized by those who believe that the taxpayer is an endless wellspring of revenue. It cannot be done. If the state funds this program without directly increasing taxes the only answer is debt which will lead to tax increases eventually.

Today is the primary in Ohio and this issue IS on the ballot. I voted to reject it and I encourage you to do so as well.

Shifting My Focus to a November Victory

As I stated in the previous post, I’m so angry at what the non-representing Representatives (aka: Congresscritters) allowed to happen, that I can’t even address it rationally yet. I said yet. So I’ll move on to address how we proceed and that is simple. Throw out every single critter and so-called Senator (aka: Obama lap dog).

Q: How do we do that?

The answer to that question is simple. Conservatives need to take back the Republican Party. No more of these wishy-washy blue blood Progressive Republicans who look to Teddy Roosevelt as their idol. We need Ronald Reaganite Conservatives running in the races in November. We gave control to the blue-bloods before and that led to the over-spending Democratesque BS during the Bush years. This is an error that this country cannot permit to be repeated.

Some will say that the answer is an alternative. A “TEA Party” candidate. To which I say, that idea is a recipe for disaster and 2 more years of Democrat control on the Hill. Two more years for Obama to get his way and two more years for the liberals to ignore the electorate.

Nobody running under a “TEA Party” label is going to do any good. First off, they won’t get any committee assignments even if they do manage to get themselves elected. Secondly, there is no way to prove the Conservative credentials of these false-Conservatives. Many will be wolves in sheep’s clothing.

This week TEA Party activists around the country will be taking part in protests in every city. Their beef? The answer to that question is found in what TEA stands for. Unlike the moron libtards of the weak “coffee party”, TEA is actually an acronym. It stands for Taxed Enough Already.

But during these protests, the uber-left is planning to undermine the credibility of the TEA Party by acting “on behalf of the Tea Party which will exaggerate their least appealing qualities (misspelled protest signs, wild claims in TV interviews, etc.)“. These goons will be among the true TEA Party activists purely to make a spectacle which will get the notice of the already libtarded Main Stream Media in an effort to discredit the grassroots nature of the protests and paint members of the movement as uneducated, racists who only oppose the Obama socialist agenda because the Emperor is black.

If they are willing to go all out in an effort to discredit the TEA Party activists this Thursday, why then would it be far fetched to imagine the uber-left infiltrating the TEA Party movement in order to shill for their favorite candidates? – Harry Reid for example.

Speaking of the racism claims, how about the claims of racial insults being thrown about the day of the Death Care vote? Real or imagined?

I know there is no proof these things ever took place but let’s for the sake of argument say that they did. Who is to say that these weren’t Democrat plants tasked with calling members of the Congressional Black Caucus (a racist organization if there ever was one) the “N” word and spitting on them? Think about it. The only reason why these members took this particular path to vote that particular day was to bait the crowd. Who says that they couldn’t be so low as to plant some stooges in the crowd to show said crowd as racists?

I assert that there will be many so-called “TEA Party” candidates running for office in November who are nothing more than Obama/Pelosi wolves in TEA Party clothing by design. They are there to split the Republican vote and insure a win.

Our task isn’t in November, it is this spring as the Republican Party decides who will run against the ~~Socialists~~ Democrats in November. Will we as a Party select blue-blood John McCain type Progressive Republicans who look to Teddy Roosevelt for inspiration or will it be Reaganite Conservatives who will ask for your vote to lead this nation out of the socialist abyss the Emperor is leading us into?

The answer for this election cycle is not a third party. The TEA Party movement was never intended to be a political party. It is a movement. Inspired by the frustration of the masses who are telling those who they have previously elected that they are not happy with what they are doing. The TEA Party members are working within the two Parties to bring about reforms within those Parties. - Personally I don’t see how the Democrats can ever be reformed at this point, they’ve sold their collective souls to Karl Marx.

As a political movement the TEA Parties are unstoppable. Unless they decide to run a candidate. Nothing can destroy the credibility of the grass-roots nature of the TEA Parties than to putting forth candidates for office.

Don’t be fooled into believing that just because the candidate wearing a “TEA Party” label is who he/she says they are. Anyone can say they are a TEA Party member. Can you truly be sure?

Remember Taxation Without Representation? What Happened To It?

Because so many members are afraid to cast a “yes” vote to approve the Senate’s Death Care bill, Nancy Pelosi and her rule changer in chief Louise Slaughter have come up with another hair-brained scheme to get the Death Care bill to the Emperor’s desk. This time, they’ll forward a rules change which would allow the House to move on to language they want in the Reconciliation bill in the Senate thereby declaring the Senate bill passed in the House without even taking a vote. Seems to me that our founders fought a war over this kind of thing.

Embedded in the Senate Death Care bill is billions of dollars in new taxes. So in a manner of speaking passing the Senate bill through declaration and by not taking a vote, the House is rubber stamping a bill without representing the people. I think the founders called that Taxation Without Representation. Are you ready to grab your pitchfork yet?

The American people need to let our Congress-critters know that a vote to approve this change in the rules which would allow this scheme to pass is just the same as if they vote “yes” on the bill. Members are banking on their ability to say, “No, I didn’t vote for the Senate bill” but would they deny voting for the rule which allowed it to become law without the House voting on it?

A “yes” vote by any member on this rule or on the bill itself should be treated the same and mark any member voting in any manner which allows this bill to become law and they should be thrown out on his/her ear for their decision to not listen to the American people who DO NOT WANT THIS BILL TO BECOME LAW.

The President says that he doesn’t concern himself with procedure but perhaps he should. The more he ignores what’s going on the more power he is grabbing and the American people have noticed. His poll numbers are entering the dismal range when even Gallup has his disapproval ratings higher than his approval rating (47% disapprove 46% approve).

Rasmussen Reports has him worse off with a Presidential Approval Index of -18.[1] The percentage of those polled who say they “approve” of Obama’s job performance is 44% with 55% of those polled saying they “disapprove”. Those who “strongly disapprove” out number those who “strongly approve” 42% – 24% in today’s Rasmussen Reports Presidential Approval Index polling data.

Something that we all need to keep in mind is that if this monster of a bill passes, it is going to take not only a Republican controlled Congress, but a Republican Super-Majority in each house numbering 2/3rds to over-ride an ~~Imperial~~ Presidential veto. So the reality is that this thing cannot pass.

Should the Democrats succeed in their political shenanigans and forward this thing to Obama without the House voting on it, there are preparations already made to file a federal lawsuit challenging the Constitutionality of the procedure upon which it was passed. If that should happen and a federal court agrees to hear the case, the whole danged bill goes on hold from that point on. But that is a HUGE “if”. The court would have to agree to hear the case to delay implementation of the law and it could take YEARS for final disposition of the case.

If your Congress-critter is on the fence about this bill, make sure he/she knows that even voting for the change in the rule would mean a vote for his/her opponent November 4th. The only word you want out of your Representative is “NO” on Death Care.

Cartoonist – Mike Lester

Remember that we are talking about the guy who said, “under my plan of cap and trade, electricity prices will necessarily skyrocket” (:35 seconds into the video below). Seems to this blogger that Mike Lester’s cartoon is extremely accurate. If you watch the video, Obama mentions the fact that prices for oil, natural gas, and other means of heating your home will be going up as well.

This from the guy who has the Oval Office so hot, his advisers have to attend meetings in shirt sleeves.

The capital flew into a bit of a tizzy when, on his first full day in the White House, President Obama was photographed in the Oval Office without his suit jacket. There was, however, a logical explanation: Mr. Obama, who hates the cold, had cranked up the thermostat.

“He’s from Hawaii, O.K.?” said Mr. Obama’s senior adviser, David Axelrod, who occupies the small but strategically located office next door to his boss. “He likes it warm. You could grow orchids in there.”

Ok… I’ll concede that Obama is from Hawaii originally but he lived in Chicago for how many years?!? I’m sorry Mr. Axelrod, that dog don’t hunt.

Truth be told, Obama is another typical Lear Jet Liberal who preaches to the masses about how our activity is impacting the planet and also has the audacity to tell us to alter our ways without any intention of altering his. He’s a hypocrite. Especially when you begin to notice the rapid decline in atmospheric temperatures. Someone is whitewashing someone. Question: Are you noticing that it’s you?

And as an aside – who cares how much it costs for the Emperor to have the Oval Office so hot that he can grow orchids anyway. He’s not paying the bill. The taxpayers are.

For nearly 3 years, the die hards of the Church of ~~Global Warming~~ Climate Change of Modern Day Idiots have been attempting to push the idea that the science proving man is the cause of ~~global warming~~ climate change (in their words) “is settled”. They nearly succeeded until…

Last November, and continuing as I write, evidence questioning the methods and practices of the so-called “scientists” behind this planetary hoax began to flood in. First it was the emails in excess of 60 MB that showed that the “scientists” conspired to discredit evidence contrary to their boondoggle, avoid peer-review of contradictory studies, and hide data from Freedom of Information Act (UK) requests. Ever since, we’ve been treated to evidence supporting theories that changes in global ocean currents and sunspot activity have a more direct impact on climate change than man’s measly 3% contribution to atmospheric CO2. The latest, however, is nearly the most damning: the IPCC’s use of an article from a magazine as evidence that Himalayan glaciers were melting and would all but disappear by 2035. As we all know now, that wasn’t based on any scientific study at all, but merely the speculation of another so-called “climate scientist” for an article published in the mountain climbers version of Runner’s World.

This past week, the findings of the Penn State internal investigation of Professor Michael Mann’s methods in developing the now discredited “hockey stick graph” (which supposedly proved man’s CO2 contributions were causing global warming) turn up no evidence of wrong doing. Wait a minute! No evidence of wrongdoing?!? The guy selectively counted tree rings in the development of his theoretical “graph”. That’s akin to reading tea leaves, relying on a rodent to tell you if winter is ending, and analyzing the bands on woolly bear caterpillars to predict the severity of an upcoming winter. I didn’t know reliance on folklore was considered “scientific” these days. What’s next? Tarot Cards? Ouija Boards? What gets me is the willingness of those who believe this tripe to accept these faith based predictions but yet these are the same people who reject GOD and religion as superstition.

All this aside, today I read an article in the London Times (online version) titled, “I thought of killing myself, says climate scandal professor Phil Jones”. In the event you’ve been living under a rock and do not know who Phil Jones is, he’s the egghead in charge of the East Anglia University Climate Research Unit – you know, the source of all those damning emails. He told the Times that he thought of killing himself over the controversy. Remember, the IPCC relied heavily on the findings of the East Anglia CRU in determining their findings. They also relied on data from the WWF which was word for word from the above mentioned magazine concerning the impending fate of the Himalayan glaciers (the article that originated from a mountain climbing magazine – not any scientific study or journal).

For years, the WWF, High Priest Al Gore, and others have been pushing the idea that arctic sea ice has been decreasing and as a result, polar bears are in danger of extinction because their hunting grounds are disappearing. We now know that arctic sea ice is NOT decreasing. Summer sea ice has actually expanded by 409,000 square miles AND polar bear populations have actually increased since 1979. Will Noah Wiley now please SHUT UP ?!? (I’m personally a little sick of his propaganda based panhandling)

The world has begun to pass legislation imposing financial penalties onto businesses, and in some cases individuals, which violate arbitrary CO2 limits based on the findings of the IPCC report which anyone can now realize is a hugely flawed document. The science is NOT settled and it isn’t even close to being settled. Before the nations of the world begin to craft legislation which destroys the global economy, the controversy should be truly settled and fully understood. Not some half-assed guessing and slapping together of arbitrary numbers that make up limits, percentages, etc. without regard to cost. These people making these chicken little predictions about the world’s climate are the same morons who attempt to predict our weather. They can’t be accurate 5 days in the future, but you are willing to take their word about 100-year predictions?!? If you do, you are an imbecile; a non-thinking sheep of a person willing to buy whatever bill of goods presented to you and unwilling to listen to reason.

Before we have a massive shift in our sources of energy that are inefficient, unreliable, and massively expensive, we should make absolutely certain of the evidence that man is in fact causing climate change. As long as there is one skeptic, the science cannot be deemed as “settled”. Claiming so only proves that it isn’t.

We’ve already allowed them to ban incandescent light bulbs based on this hoax and the US was on the verge of passing a massively destructive Cap and Tax bill. Obama was willing to sacrifice US sovereignty and sign on to a global agreement in Copenhagen that would permit the building of a global governmental authority with the power to tax nations who violate the arbitrary CO2 emissions standards of the agreement. He was willing to become subservient to an agreement as the world’s worst polluters remain unbound by the same agreement. This is unacceptable.

As we’ve seen this week, winter has made its presence known again with more than 2 feet of snow in the nation’s capital (a record if you are keeping score over there at East Anglia University). This wasn’t supposed to happen, but it did. With all this evidence to the contrary, how can ANYONE still believe the science is “settled”?!? Those making money by blaming man still say it’s “settled,” but poll numbers show that the people do not. THIS is the decline of the Church of ~~Global Warming~~ Climate Change of Modern Day Idiots. It’s about time.
