Waiting for ‘Change’? Well Don’t Hold Your Breath

As Barry O continues to slowly select his inner circle, one thing is standing out more than any other – these people look awful familiar.

During his campaign we heard nothing resembling substance but rather a lot of undefined rhetoric about ‘Hope’ and ‘Change’. We assumed that he meant that he was going to ‘Change’ the face of Washington and how it does business. At least that is the assumption that those of us on the right have about those who fell for that steady load of male bovine excrement that he was dishing out in his protracted 21 months of speeches masquerading as a political campaign.

Instead of reaching into a pool of previously unknown individuals, Mr. Obama is resurrecting Clintonian Infestation zombies. From his Chief of Staff to his pick for Attorney General, the Obama Infestation is resembling the Clintonian era more by the day.

Barack Obama made “change” the mantra of his presidential campaign. But when it comes to appointees, his team doesn’t reflect much change from the Bill Clinton era.

Of the 47 appointees named so far to transition or staff posts, 31 have ties to the Clinton administration, including all but one member of the 12-person Transition Advisory Board.

Transition chief John Podesta served as Clinton’s chief of staff from 1998 to 2001.

Other Clinton-era appointees include former Deputy Secretary of Defense John White, former State Department official Wendy Sherman, and former deputies to National Security Adviser Sandy Berger, Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin, Defense Secretary William Perry, and Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, Politico.com reports.

Also on the Obama team are transition adviser Michael Froman, who served as Rubin’s chief of staff, and Christopher Edley, who served Clinton and is married to a former Clinton deputy chief of staff.

Rep. Rahm Emanuel, a senior adviser to Clinton, has been named Obama’s chief of staff.

Obama is reportedly even considering Hillary Clinton for the Cabinet post of Secretary of State. SOURCE

emphasis mine

During the campaign those of us on the right were warning that election of undefined ‘Change’ would be dangerous. Now I’m afraid that the danger may lie within the masses who voted for Mr. Obama without knowing who and what he is.

Obama is so fearful of being tied to his socialist past that he refuses to dip into the pool of people that he truly wants to hold the posts that he’s currently making selections for. His true ambition is to select William Ayers for Sec. of Education but he can’t. He can’t because his past ties to Ayers have been exposed and he’s already on record denying them. He can’t because the American people have become reacquainted with Ayers, his radical socialist views, and is terrorist past. Remember – he who controls the youth has the future. It is Obama and Ayers who wish to pollute the minds of the youth in order to bring about an unachievable socialist utopia the empty promise of which has led to the downfall of dozens of countries and the deaths of hundreds of millions of people since the beginning of the Soviet experiment.

He can’t make the selection for Treasury that he truly wants because of socialist ambition. And the same could be said about State. In short, his plan has been foiled. His plan was to get elected without any light being shined on his true ambitions. His plan was to fool all of the people all of the time and he nearly accomplished that. This is the reason why he is reverting to Clintonian Infestation has-beens for his inner sanctum. He can’t have those he truly wants, so he’s selecting the failures of the past whom the ignorant public believes to be successes.

The recent Zogby poll that showed the ignorance of the average Obama voter this election cycle is a warning America. It is a warning that we can no longer be apathetic to the inner workings of Washington. We all must become political junkies and keep a watchful eye on the empty suits that we’ve allowed to be elected.

This same electorate actually believes that Barry O is capable of fulfilling his election promises because they are ignorant to the actual inner workings of our government. They haven’t a clue as to what is contained in the Constitution. The separation of powers is foreign to them and believe that it is the President who “rules” from the oval office.

The results of the 2008 election is a warning. A warning about the increasingly biased reporting of the leftist press and their unwillingness to expose the truth about leftist politicians. The election is a warning about the ignorance of the electorate and a need to educate the masses about who they are voting for before they vote. It is a crime that only 2% of Obama voters could answer Zogby’s polling questions 100% correctly. And one must wonder, if that 2% knew all this about the candidates before they voted, why is it they still voted for Obama? They must be part of the greater conspiracy to resurrect and institute the ambitions of the Communist Party in America.

Zogby International: McCain/Palin Up By 4 – Obama Should Be Worried

In a year which is supposed to be dominated by Democrats, the Republican ticket is leading the race in September? How ironic.

If it were not for Sarah Palin being added to the ticket, I doubt that John McCain would be garnering these kinds of numbers this early. Helping matters is the left-wing blogosphere combined with what Hannity calls the “Obama Media” and their relentless attacks on Palin and her family. With each new non-story attacking the Republican VP Nominee – and worse her family – Americans are being drawn to the GOP ticket.

From Zogby International:

Republicans John McCain and Sarah Palin left St. Paul, Minnesota, with a smallish bounce overall and some energy in key demographic groups, as the race for the presidency enters a key stage and voters begin to tune in to the contest, the latest Zogby Interactive poll finds.

The McCain/Palin ticket wins 49.7% support, compared to 45.9% backing for the Obama/Biden ticket, this latest online survey shows. Another 4.4% either favored someone else or were unsure.

In the two-way contest in which just McCain and Obama were mentioned in the question, the result was slightly different, with McCain leading, 48.8% to 45.7%.

In a Zogby Interactive survey conducted last weekend, just after the McCain announcement that Palin would join his ticket, McCain Palin won 47.1% support, while Obama/Biden won 44.6% support.

The interactive survey of 2,312 likely voters nationwide was conducted Sept. 5-6, 2008, and carries a margin of error of +/- 2.1 percentage points.

What should be beginning to concern the Democrats at this point is not only losing the White House November 4th, but seeing their slim majority in Congress slip away as well.

By alienating Joe Lieberman for his support of John McCain that could be a vote in the Senate that Democrat leaders are willingly throwing away. Combine that with the increasing distaste Americans are developing for the tactics employed by the Democrat Party and the seats that they hope to be picking up in the Senate are in jeopardy.

If the Democrat Leadership in the Senate give Lieberman his walking papers or strip him of his Committee Chairmanship, AND they fail to pick up any additional seats, the Senate will change hands. If Nancy Pelosi continues to mock the will of the American people by avoiding a vote on the proposed bill that would increase domestic oil production, the House may see a change as well. Is this the ‘Change’ that Obama has been preaching about?

The 110th Congress has been a failure from its first day. It has failed to do anything that its leaders promised. Nothing resembling bipartisanship has emerged from the increasingly polarized House. The Senate will continue to be deadlocked until one Party or the other is voted into power with more than 60 seats or the rules are changed on cloture.

As for the Democrat pick for President/Vice President? What can I say other than they fell for the window dressing. They bought a bill of goods without knowing how it functions. They allowed themselves to be sold on “a cult of personality” and it is blowing up in their faces. They rejected a more qualified candidate for President based on guilt and rhetoric. And now they are likely to lose.

As for today’s poll numbers from Zogby, perhaps this is only an early indication of how November 4th will play out. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it here again, the dirt on Obama hasn’t started to come forward yet. That will likely happen next month. And don’t look at the McCain campaign as the source. It will be coming from the Clinton campaign. Why? Because the ONLY shot Hillary has at becoming the first woman elected President of the United States is if she can secure the Democrat Nomination in 2012. 2016 will be too late in her life to mount an effective campaign and she cannot challenge a sitting President from her own Party for that nomination in 2012. In other words, she needs McCain to win.

To accomplish this, the Clintons will leak every bit of dirt they’ve been accumulating against Obama since May. And they will do it through their surrogates on the internet in order to distance themselves from the dirt. But rest assured, it will originate with the Clintons.

Bottom line…

The poll numbers will stay pretty tight throughout the remainder of the race. Polls run by left-leaning news outlets will be the last to indicate a McCain/Palin lead so when they do it will indicate something much more dire for Obama/Biden.

The Dems didn’t count on Sarah Palin and her impact on the Conservative base. The nomination of John McCain left Conservatives considering staying home in protest. Since he named Palin to the ticket, the base has been energized to a level not seen since Reagan’s 1984 campaign. Even Michael Reagan declared her to have the spirit of his father.

Conservatives, bitter Clinton supporters, Reagan Democrats, McCain’s moderates, and Independents are going to combine in an effort to prevent Obama from achieving his goal. And what is that goal? To destroy the American way of life (as we currently know it).

Elton John Fundraiser for Hillary Illegal? Maybe Says FEC

A fund raising concert is scheduled for April 9, 2008 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City where British Superstar Sir Elton John is to perform. The funds raised are due to go to Hillary Clinton’s campaign. This may be a violation of a 1966 campaign finance law.

According to the FEC via the Washington Times:

The goal of the 1966 Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) was to “minimize foreign intervention” in U.S. elections by establishing a series of limitations on foreign nationals. In 1974, the prohibition was incorporated into the Federal Election Campaign Act (FECA), giving the FEC jurisdiction over its enforcement and interpretation.

According to the FEC, FECA “prohibits any foreign national from contributing, donating or spending funds in connection with any federal, state, or local election in the United States, either directly or indirectly. It is also unlawful to help foreign nationals violate that ban or to solicit, receive or accept contributions or donations from them. Persons who knowingly and willfully engage in these activities may be subject to fines and/or imprisonment.”

The question according to the Times article is whether or not Sir Elton is contributing to the campaign indirectly.

The act does provide a volunteer “exemption” as long as the foreign national performing a service is not compensated by anyone. But this exemption gets tricky and might not apply to Elton John.

Consider that in a 1987 advisory opinion, the commission allowed a foreign national student to provide uncompensated volunteer services to a presidential campaign. By contrast, a 1981 FEC decision prohibited a foreign national artist from donating his services in connection with fundraising for a U.S. Senate campaign. emphasis mine

I, and most of you reading this, am sick and tired of foreigners from Elton John to Hugo Chavez thinking that what they say or do can and should effect our political process. John Lennon tried that crap when he was still converting oxygen to carbon dioxide and had an FBI file thicker than the Zodiac Killer.

For that matter, entertainers in general. What have they done in life that gives them special insight into the political processes of this nation? NOTHING! Entertainers, even if they’ve played a politician on film or stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night, have no idea how this nation works. They follow some handler that says that their popularity will increase if they follow the libtarded path.

Some may say…

Gribbit, what gives you special insight. I don’t have special insight. I pay attention to politics day in and day out. I think independently unlike the libtarded robots who vote Democrat. Most do so because their union leaders or favorite entertainers say they should. They are mindless drones hence the reason why I call them Politically Apathetic American Lemmings*.

People, you need to wake the heck up. You all need to understand what is going on in this nation’s political circles. Don’t listen to some Union Boss or your favorite singer. People like Sir Elton should shut the hell up. And Sir Elton himself needs to pay more attention to his own countries politics and leave ours alone.

For the record, I hope the FEC rules that Clinton cannot accept the monies raised by Sir Elton on April 9th based on the Foreign Agents Registration Act of 1966.

Also for the record, Hugo Chavez’s comments about John McCain the other day were aimed at promoting Barack Hussein Obama. And like what McCain said yesterday, what a badge of honor.

Clinton Library CEO Disappears Amid Audit

Could it be something shady? Knowing the Clintons I’d bank on it.

From FoxNews.com:

John Glasgow had a healthy salary, with an opportunity to pick up stock in the construction company where he worked. He was the kind of guy who paid back a $500 bonus he got for completing an anti-smoking program because he started to light up again.

But now Glasgow has been missing since Jan. 28, with his car found abandoned the next day, and family and police say it’s impossible to tell whether he killed himself, was abducted or left to start a new life elsewhere.

His family said the easygoing 45-year-old felt overwhelmed and anxious about a company audit, but the company says no money is missing.

Police say there is no evidence of foul play, and no clues to his whereabouts.

Since this is the Clintons we are talking about, money may not be the motivation for the disappearance. What did Glasgow know? And could it be that his knowledge is the motivator behind Glasgow’s disappearance?

Those who could hurt the Clinton’s have conveniently come up missing (in this case), dead (Vince Foster et al) or destroyed. So what should we extrapolate from this disappearance? Money or Knowledge are the only motivators. If it is money, who paid him to go because it has to be because of what he knows. Another reason why we need to see the Clinton’s financial records. Could it be that they sent him away? Could it be that he’s in a landfill somewhere? We haven’t seen him discredited anywhere so I would imagine that he’s either dead or hiding. If either, who knows about it? If alive who paid him to go? If dead, who ordered it?

This tin foil hat marked Daily Kook I found is giving me a headache so I’ll take it off and find some aspirin.

I’m Reconsidering One Election Possibility

Many on the right will do ANYTHING to prevent Hillary’s win in November. With the way the Democrat race is panning out, that may not be the worst possibility. Barack Obama becomes less and less attractive as the race plays out.

I was watching videos on the Jonestown massacre this evening and one thing occurred to me, Obama is a lot like Jimbo.

One of the followers of Jones told the interviewer in one video that in The People’s Temple, you turned your whole life over to the Church. You literally gave up your rights to Jim Jones when you allowed his Church to care for you.

This is what is promised under complete liberalism. But in this case you would become totally dependent upon their government. Not the one that the founding fathers created, rather one born in the mind of a German Socialist named Marx.

American liberals in their arrogance believe that socialist policy can work if implemented their way. I have news for them, socialism and its cousin communism has NEVER worked in the history of the world.

When the pilgrims landed in 1620 they nearly died the first winter because of 2 reasons. The first was they hadn’t the supplies to survive the American winter comfortably. Remember, the world was in the hight of the Little Ice Age at the time.

The second reason for their near demise was their ideas of communal living. It was proven, as it has been each and every time it has been attempted, that quality of work suffers if people are rewarded equally without regard to the quality of their work. There is a total lack of work ethic.

After the collapse of the Soviet empire, it was discovered that even if we’d gotten into an actual shooting nuclear conflict with the Soviets, over half of their missiles would never have left the silos because of shoddy craftsmanship. This is the communal reward system at its worst.

Liberals in this country would institute policy to redistribute wealth through the use of our already aggressive tax system in order to make everyone the same. In their Don Quixote style quest to end poverty, they will in essence create more poverty.

Income redistribution doesn’t make anyone wealthy. It in a sense makes more people poor. This is what Barack Obama promises.

Obama’s attachment to Great Society failure policies would damage this country beyond repair because like in Jonestown, once you surrender your rights, you’ll never get them back.

So I’ve reconsidered how my General Election vote will be cast. If Hillary is the nominee on the Democrat side, I will abstain from voting and deny my vote to MexiCain out of Conservative principle. However, if Obama is their pick to go up against Juan, then I will vote for Juan.

I still believe that the next President will be doomed to a single 4 year term opening the gate to the opposing party to hold the White House from 2013 – 2021. This election cycle we are looking at which is the lesser of the evils.

It is my belief that Hillary is a lesser evil than Juan MexiCain because she is a polarizing figure. The loathing that exists on the Republican side for her will prevent many of her policies from ever being implemented. Obama has a cult like following. If by some miracle he makes it through and entire term he’ll be lucky first of all. Because I believe that some crack-pot racists imbecile is likely to take a shot at him if he gets elected. If he should survive, his charisma will convinced many people in the style of Jim Jones and his dangerous visions of the Great Society will again be implemented. The problem that exists is the very real possibility that we may not be able to recover from them again.

So this is the reason for the reconsideration that I’ve gone through. One thing is for sure, if I end up voting for Juan MexiCain it will because the leftists nominate Obama.

Clinton Eyeing Mini Tuesday; Huckster Trails Badly

Mini Tuesday? Yes Mini Tuesday. If February 5th was Super “Duper” Tuesday because over 20 primary contests were held on that day, one can make the argument that March 4th will be Mini Tuesday. Just a few contests but for the Democrats a huge significance.

The key states of Ohio and Texas hold their primaries on Mini Tuesday. Also holding primaries are the states of Vermont and Rhode Island. Ohio has 161 delegates on the Democrat side, 88 on the Republican. Texas has 228 for the Dems and 140 for the Republicans. Vermont 23 and Rhode Island 32 on the Dems side, 17 and 20 respectively on the Republican side. Hillary needs as many Ohio and Texas delegates as possible to contain Obama.

Because the Dems distribute their delegates proportionately according to popular vote by state, this may be a situation of high hopes for Clinton. Obama can successfully stave off losing the lead to Clinton if he can keep it close in both states where Clinton is currently leading.

In Ohio, Clinton leads Obama 51 – 37% respectively. If Obama can close the gap in the next 17 days Clinton may be in trouble in my home state of Ohio. In Texas, Clinton also leads Obama 54 – 38% respectively. Again, Obama has 17 days to close that gap. If he cannot close the gap in these two key states in the next 17 days (that’s a long time), then he will prove that he cannot win in November.

Because of the proportional delegate distribution, the states of Vermont and Rhode Island mean little in the quest for the Democrat Nomination.

In the Republican Quest, Mike “the Huckster” Huckabee trails Juan MexiCain in Ohio by 17 points (33 – 50% respectively). That means he’s got to make up at least one point per day to make Ohio a contest. In the Texas race, MexiCain leads Huckster 45 – 37% (That’s 9 points). Huckster is in a position to deny MexiCain 140 delegates should he convince enough people to vote against amnesty. He’s got some work to do but I’m not sure how he’s going to get it done from the Caymans.

Remember campers, polls have been consistently wrong this election cycle. Why? I’m not sure. I’m still using the one poll that seems to have been closest all cycle long – Rasmussen Reports.

Hillary or Obama? MexiCain or Either Dem? The Quandary

I’ve made it abundantly clear that I would favor a 4 year Democrat failure as President from 2009 – 2013 than Juan MexiCain because Juan boy will hand the Dems an 8 year term in a reverse Reagan Revolution. By then, Hillary will be too old for the attempt, but Obama won’t be.

The question is, which should a Conservative be hoping wins the Democrat Nomination? Which can beat Juan MexiCain? On this point, I don’t really care. One is just as bad as the other.

Some will say that Obama would be more dangerous because he is the most liberal member of Congress. To which I say, remember the last time an inexperienced, young, ultra liberal took the keys to the front door of the White House? The year was 1977. The man, Jimmy Carter. The result, Carter got lambasted in the 1980 election by none other than Ronald Wilson Reagan. Reagan followed up with a 49 state victory in the General Election in 1984 against Walter “Fritz” Mondale. I don’t want to see this in reverse.

Yes Obama is dangerous. He embraces the old ideas of the Great Society but his base is too young to remember them. I barely remember them because I wasn’t born until after their biggest champion was out of office. I’m of course speaking of Lyndon B. Johnson.

Obama would be a bigger threat after a 4 year MexiCain Infestation. Yes that is the first time I’ve ever used that term to describe a Republican’s time or potential time in the White House. Obama would walk his way into the White House in 2013 like Reagan did in 1981 and we’d have him and his socialist ways for 8 long years. The people of this nation won’t be able to separate MexiCain’s lack of Conservative credentials from his being perceived as a Republican. This is because by nature most Americans are disengaged from the political system. In this fast-food, instant gratification society, the Apathetic American Lemmings* are breeding and multiplying at a rate similar to fleas. Apathy begets more apathy. And ignorance perpetuates more ignorance. And we all will suffer for that in the long run.

We must prove now, that Juan MexiCain’s brand of Republican is not Conservative. The only way we can limit the damage created by a liberal infestation lasting more than 4 years is to head it off from the beginning. Create a lame duck session that lasts for 4 years.

Cartoonist – Gary McCoy

The Democrats in Congress have proven successfully that they are incapable of governing. This week is the biggest and brightest example of their incompetence. Steroids probes were conducted instead of dealing with the FISA renewal. And today, at noon, Congress shut down as expected while many unresolved issues remain on the table.

Cartoonist – Eric Allie

A case could be made between now and November that would lead to the Republicans re-taking the majority in the House and if not the Senate, maintaining such a close minority that the Dems can’t get anything accomplished. The worse thing that would happen under the next President is a stalemate. He, or she, will be seen as incapable of getting anything done rightfully or not and be bounced from office in 2012. In 2012 we nominate a real Conservative. Someone along the lines of John Boehner. And then we take control again for a minimum of 8 years.

If however we cannot retake the House and the majority for the Democrats increases in the Senate, a Democrat President will plunge this nation into not just a deep recession, but a full blow depression that would make 1929 look mild. It almost happened under Jimmy. It probably would have if Reagan didn’t come along and save us.

Obama is going around the country spewing platitudes speaking on change and hope. Yes this sounds attractive, but what will he do? He hasn’t said a word as to what he would do.

Cartoonist – Bob Gorrell

Hillary wants to increase the size of the government and spend more of your money doing it. Over $800 billion in proposed new spending and I know that sounds ominous. But think of it this way.

Should we be able to hold a tight minority in the Senate (worse case) and take control of the House, her spending packages will go no where. If we don’t take the House but maintain a slim minority in the Senate her spending packages go no where. Why? Because of a trick the Dems taught us with President Bush’s judicial appointments. The Senate needs 60 votes to invoke cloture.

Jay Stevenson, my pal and co-blogger, is worried about what kind of judges a Dem President would leave us with. Again, thanks to Juan MexiCain the use of the filibuster is still open to use on judicial appointments. They can be blocked.

I know that sounds a bit hypocritical but no one else seems to mind when it comes to Dems doing it.

The next thing we have to consider is the SCOTUS appointments. There will likely be 2 of them in the next 4 years. Ruth Bader Ginsburg and John Paul Stevens. Ginsburg was appointed by Clinton. Stevens by Carter. Both are liberal and openly so. If a Democrat President is in a position to replace these two, it will be a trade off.

The Justice that is disrupting the natural balance is David Souter (appointed by George H. W. Bush). Juan MexiCain in spite of his election year rhetoric is most likely to appoint more Souter like judges.

Bottom line…

I don’t recommend as one caller into Rush Limbaugh’s program did today, crossing over to vote for a Dem in either the primaries or in the general. I do recommend voting your conscience. Mine is leading me to vote for Mike “the Huckster” Huckabee in the Ohio primary because he is still in a position to deny MexiCain delegates. In the general, I will be voting in the state races and to re-elect Mike Turner as my United States Representative. As for President, I’m not touching the screen for any of them.

House Minority Leader John Boehner is vocal about what the American people taught him and his Republican colleagues in the House in 2006. I think it is time we teach those who aspire to the Presidency that same lesson in the same manner.

Hillary Acknowledges Fox More Fair, Chelsea Claims Hillary “Fiscally Conservative”

In all of the squabble over the MSNoBodyCares David Shuster “pimped out” comment, Democrat Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton acknowledged to Politico Reporter John Harris on Washington’s ABC News affiliate WJLA that Fox News’ coverage of her campaign has been the most fair. Shocker! A liberal Democrat acknowledging that Fox News Channel is the most fair. This is something that the left-wing blogosphere would never acknowledge. [Transcript of the Interview]

Is Hillary taking aim at Conservative America since it seems that Barack Obama is likely to beat her out for the Democratic Nomination? Could it be that she senses blood in the water over Juan MexiCain and wants to present herself to Conservatives as being more fiscally responsible? I think so since her own daughter has been on the campaign trail saying just that.

Clinton (Chelsea), the daughter of presidential hopeful Sen. Hillary Clinton and former President Bill Clinton, said that a return to “fiscal responsibility,” as promoted by her mother, would be one of the ways to secure Social Security. She also noted that her mom, as she referred to Hillary Clinton throughout the question and answer session, was the “most fiscally conservative candidate running” and “the only candidate who tells you how she’ll pay for everything.”

Too bad that she plans on paying for everything by taxing working America into the poor house.

Democrats have been tauting the expiration of the Bush Tax Cuts as a way to pay for the massively expensive social programs they have plans. Hillary herself is proposing over $800 Billion in new social spending and no spending cuts. Just more taxes.

What Democrats like her don’t realize is that the people that she wishes to tax into poverty are the same people who employ everyone else. What good does raising taxes do? NONE!

Hillary and every other liberal in this country wish to lower standards of living for the bulk of America and end poverty by making everyone impoverished. There is only one way to truly end real poverty in this country, that is by making everyone economically mobile. To do that, taxes need cut and the government needs to shrink. Spending needs to be curtailed to those necessary programs outlined in the Constitution. (Help! I’m sounding like a PaulBot!)

John Edwards claimed to be on a mission to end poverty. His pie in the sky quest hasn’t a prayer of success because try as we might, there will always be people who do not have as much as everyone else. They could have a 6 figure income and still live in poverty if the median income in the country were to hit 7 figures.

In other words, Hillary’s claims of being “fiscally Conservative” are a bunch of smoke and mirrors parlor tricks and rhetoric designed to appeal to those who wish to cut the deficit. Deficit reduction is only one aspect of Fiscal Conservatism. Ending wasteful spending on programs not authorized by the Constitution is another.

Fat lot of good paying for your pet projects using higher tax rates will be Mrs. Clinton if there is no one working in this country to pay your heavy tax burden. If you want to claim Fiscal Conservatism, it is time to come off your baby bonds and other wasteful spending proposals.

If Conservatives support any Dem for President in 2008 it is to insure that the Presidential failure that will follow won’t fall upon a Republican. Clintonian smoke and mirrors won’t work. Just ask the Huckster. He hasn’t a chance to win the nomination outright. He’s got to hope for a brokered convention and even then he won’t get it.

Try again Hillary.

Set Her Up With a Loud Suit and Matching Fedora

For someone who was so “offended” by the pimping comment made by David Shuster of MSNoBodyCares, Hillary Clinton is surely trying to play the part. She set-up the former first daughter with a 21 year old male “super delegate” in Wisconsin this morning for a private breakfast.

According to ABC News:

Jason Rae is a typical junior in college.

But not many 21-year-olds start their Monday with a personal breakfast with Chelsea Clinton, as Rae did this morning at the student union at the nearby University of Milwaukee.

Rae got the one-on-one treatment from the former — and possibly future — first daughter because he is a Democratic National Committee member from Wisconsin and thus a “super delegate,” one of the 796 free agents who can back any candidate in the race for the Democratic nomination.

What do you call someone who arranges an intimate gathering between a man and a young woman in order to gain something that they want? I call that a pimp. That’s what Hillary is when she sends her daughter out to have breakfast with a man in order to gain his backing as a “super delegate”.

I don’t want to hear of her being “offended” for doing what she is doing to her daughter. She is exploiting her daughter to fulfill her ambitions. This is no different than a man who sends a woman out on the streets to prostitute herself in order to gain money for himself. Hillary is the pimp in this case and she is prostituting her own daughter.

Definition of prostituting:

1 : to offer indiscriminately for sexual intercourse especially for money 2 : to devote to corrupt or unworthy purposes emphasis mine

Hillary may not have sent Chelsea to have sex with this man, but she did send her to gain his favor. And that is the definition of “to devote to corrupt or unworthy purposes”.

It is time to call a spade a spade. Hillary may as well go shopping for that loud suit and fedora with matching feather. She’s a pimp.

Shuster had it right. Hillary, it is time for a wardrobe change.

H/T: Big Dog

Mr. MexiCain Takes Washington, Barely

Well to say that he won Washington is a bit premature. ABC News is calling it for MexiCain in spite of the minuscule difference in the vote count suggesting that the powers that be in the Washington GOP may have a bias.

The Washington state GOP ceased counting ballots with 87.2% of the precincts reporting according the Mike “the Huckster” Huckabee. Now I’m no fan of the Huckster. I personally think that he’s a flim-flam man and holds a Masters of Clintonian Politics as a graduate of the Arkansas School of Clintonian Politics with a 4.0 GPA. But even I have questions as to the motivation behind the Washington GOP’s refusal to continue to count the ballots cast? Or at least releasing the counts.

With 87.2% reporting, a mere 242 votes separate Huckster from MexiCain. To say that the remainder 12.8% does not contain enough votes to make up that 242 margin is a fable. The state Party must be doing this for a reason. But why?

The Huckster’s campaign released the following:

“The Huckabee campaign is deeply disturbed by the obvious irregularities in the Washington State Republican precinct caucuses. It is very unfortunate that the Washington State Party Chairman, Luke Esser, chose to call the race for John McCain after only 87 percent of the vote was counted. According to CNN, the difference between Senator McCain and Governor Huckabee is a mere 242 votes, out of more than 12,000 votes counted—with another 1500 or so votes, apparently, not counted. That is an outrage.

“In other words, more than one in eight Evergreen State Republicans have been disenfranchised by the actions of their own party. This was an error in judgment by Mr. Esser. It was Mr. Esser’s duty to oversee a fair vote-count process. Washington Republicans know, from bitter experience in the 2004 gubernatorial election, the terrible results that can come from bad ballot-counting.

“Frankly, I am disappointed in the way that Mr. Esser has handled this urgent matter. So I call upon Mr. Esser and his colleagues to cooperate fully with the Huckabee campaign—and all Republicans, everywhere, who care about honest and transparent vote-counting—to make sure that every vote is counted and that all Republicans in Washington have the chance to make their votes count. Attempts by our campaign to contact Mr. Esser have been unsuccessful. Our lawyers will be on the ground in Washington State soon, and we look forward to sitting down with Mr. Esser to evaluate this process, to see why the count took so long, and why the vote-counting was stopped prematurely.

“It would be a disservice to every voter in Washington State to not pursue a full accounting of all votes cast.

And I agree. Surprisingly.

Even though I don’t like the Huckster, he is still in this race and the people’s voice has a right to be heard. If he is the choice of the people of Washington state in spite of state Party officials, then he should receive the delegates from Washington. There is no explanation for not releasing the numbers from those last 12.8% of ballots unless it counters what the state Party officials want to see.

I am of the opinion that this elections cycle has been tainted by outside influences. Everything from the main stream media to the Democratic Party encouraging their members to vote in open primary states as Republicans. MexiCain is riding a wave of support largely consisting of Independents and Democrats and that for me is a problem. Republicans are being marginalized by these interlopers.

The Huckster has a chance to derail MexiCain’s phony “straight talk express” and deny him the required 1191 delegates to secure the nomination. He is showing moxie in his refusal to give up the ghost in Washington and a stubbornness that only can be attributed to his post graduate degree work at the Arkansas School of Clintonian Politics.

At this point I am standing by my belief that no matter who the nominee ends up being, true Conservatives will either abandon votes for President in November, stay home, or vote for a Dem in order to insure that the next failed Presidency (and the next one will be) will belong to a Dem. Huckster cannot beat Hillary or Barack. I believe that once it is down to MexiCain v either Dem, MexiCain will lose because all of his cross-over backers will go back to their liberal friends.

Waiting for ‘Change’? Well Don’t Hold Your Breath

November 20, 2008

As Barry O continues to slowly select his inner circle, one thing is standing out more than any other – these people look awful familiar.
During his campaign we heard nothing resembling substance but rather a lot of undefined rhetoric about ‘Hope’ and ‘Change’. We assumed that he meant that he was going to ‘Change’ the [...]

Zogby International: McCain/Palin Up By 4 – Obama Should Be Worried

September 7, 2008

In a year which is supposed to be dominated by Democrats, the Republican ticket is leading the race in September? How ironic.
If it were not for Sarah Palin being added to the ticket, I doubt that John McCain would be garnering these kinds of numbers this early. Helping matters is the left-wing blogosphere combined with [...]

Elton John Fundraiser for Hillary Illegal? Maybe Says FEC

March 27, 2008

A fund raising concert is scheduled for April 9, 2008 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City where British Superstar Sir Elton John is to perform. The funds raised are due to go to Hillary Clinton’s campaign. This may be a violation of a 1966 campaign finance law.
According to the FEC via the [...]

Clinton Library CEO Disappears Amid Audit

March 17, 2008

Could it be something shady? Knowing the Clintons I’d bank on it.
From FoxNews.com:
John Glasgow had a healthy salary, with an opportunity to pick up stock in the construction company where he worked. He was the kind of guy who paid back a $500 bonus he got for completing an anti-smoking program because he started to [...]

I’m Reconsidering One Election Possibility

February 19, 2008

Many on the right will do ANYTHING to prevent Hillary’s win in November. With the way the Democrat race is panning out, that may not be the worst possibility. Barack Obama becomes less and less attractive as the race plays out.
I was watching videos on the Jonestown massacre this evening and one thing occurred to [...]

Clinton Eyeing Mini Tuesday; Huckster Trails Badly

February 16, 2008

Mini Tuesday? Yes Mini Tuesday. If February 5th was Super “Duper” Tuesday because over 20 primary contests were held on that day, one can make the argument that March 4th will be Mini Tuesday. Just a few contests but for the Democrats a huge significance.
The key states of Ohio and Texas hold their primaries on [...]

Hillary or Obama? MexiCain or Either Dem? The Quandary

February 15, 2008

I’ve made it abundantly clear that I would favor a 4 year Democrat failure as President from 2009 – 2013 than Juan MexiCain because Juan boy will hand the Dems an 8 year term in a reverse Reagan Revolution. By then, Hillary will be too old for the attempt, but Obama won’t be.
The question is, [...]

Hillary Acknowledges Fox More Fair, Chelsea Claims Hillary “Fiscally Conservative”

February 11, 2008

In all of the squabble over the MSNoBodyCares David Shuster “pimped out” comment, Democrat Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton acknowledged to Politico Reporter John Harris on Washington’s ABC News affiliate WJLA that Fox News’ coverage of her campaign has been the most fair. Shocker! A liberal Democrat acknowledging that Fox News Channel is the most fair. [...]

Set Her Up With a Loud Suit and Matching Fedora

February 11, 2008

For someone who was so “offended” by the pimping comment made by David Shuster of MSNoBodyCares, Hillary Clinton is surely trying to play the part. She set-up the former first daughter with a 21 year old male “super delegate” in Wisconsin this morning for a private breakfast.
According to ABC News:
Jason Rae is a typical [...]

Mr. MexiCain Takes Washington, Barely

February 11, 2008

Well to say that he won Washington is a bit premature. ABC News is calling it for MexiCain in spite of the minuscule difference in the vote count suggesting that the powers that be in the Washington GOP may have a bias.
The Washington state GOP ceased counting ballots with 87.2% of the precincts reporting according [...]
