The War is Over!!! Well – Maybe Not

His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Barry-O I made the official announcement earlier this evening that “combat operations in Iraq” are complete. One would get the idea from this announcement that he has belatedly made good on a campaign promise. However, upon further inspection, you see yet another level of deceit from the factually challenged president. Allow me to explain.

For the past month, the Obama compliant main stream media has been tripping over itself to indoctrinate the American people that the Emperor was finally making good on his Iraq War promise. Troops were shown to be leaving their bases in Iraq and shifted to bases in Kuwait. However, many combat troops actually remain in Iraq in spite of the media gushing and tonight’s announcement from the Charlatan-in-Chief. Rather than pulling ALL the combat troops out of Iraq, the Obama Infestation simply renamed them and redefined their mission.

What was formally known as a Combat Battalion is now being referred to as “Advice and Support Battalion”. Instead of it’s mission being to seek out hostile insurgent forces and improvised explosive devices, our troops will remain on their bases and wait for something to happen that the Iraqi Defense Forces cannot handle on their own – which is just about everything that could happen.

As the nation watches troops being withdrawn from the Middle East, few perhaps are aware that another wave of soldiers is being deployed.

On Tuesday, a group of about 150 soldiers from the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, based in Fort Hood, Texas, had a two-hour layover at Bangor International Airport on their way to southern Iraq.

In reality, the troops being “withdrawn from the Middle East” are troops who were late being cycled back to the US. Additional troops are being filtered into Iraq and Kuwait to serve in these new “Advice and Support Battalions”. Nothing’s changed but the mission and the names of the units. Tankers, Cannoneers, and Infantrymen are still being deployed to Iraq or to staging areas outside of Iraq. The idea that the “War” is over is a twisting of the truth.

What is more offensive and hypocritical of Obamaramadingdong is the fact that he takes credit for the accomplishments that our troops have made. As a Senator he opposed the troop surge which is the reason why the insurgency has been suppressed to the point where Obama can feel comfortable with scamming the American people. Additionally, as a Senator, Barry voted against funding troops in the field.

To add insult to injury, the Emperor mentioned former President George W. Bush in passing during his announcement. Saying that he spoke with the former President about this announcement earlier in the day and although he and the former President had differing views on the War in the beginning, blah… blah… blah…

Obama is an opportunity seeking flim-flam man. If he were a box of cereal (aptly named BarryO’s) he’d be an exciting colorful box that promises great taste, zero calories, zero grams of sugar, zero cholesterol, but when you open the box, there’s nothing inside. But then again, what do you expect from the empty suit that brought us undefined ‘hope’ and ‘change’?

Speaking of which, I believe that I’ve finally figured out that whole ‘hope’ and ‘change’ thing.

Like it or not, he’s going to fundamentally ‘change’ American and we are all going to have to ‘hope’ that our freedoms aren’t all completely taken from us in the process.

Blind ‘hope’ in undefined ‘change’. How’s it working out for you America?

Unemployment nearly doubled.
Deficit nearly quadrupled.
National Debt approaching $14 Trillion with unfunded liabilities approaching $130 Trillion.
Record numbers of Americans on food assistance.
1-in-6 Americans on some form of federal assistance.

Somehow, I don’t think this is what the voters were expecting.

As for August 31, 2010 being the date to end combat operations, truth be told President George W. Bush negotiated this event. Even though August 31, 2010 date wasn’t mentioned specifically in the Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA), it has always been understood that events on the ground would determine the ultimate time-line of events. According to the agreement…

The U.S. has been involved in military operations in Iraq since March of 2003. The legal framework under which the U.S. has operated includes H.J.Res. 114 (P.L. 107-243), multiple U.N. Security Council Resolutions, as well as orders under the Coalition Provisional Authority. The U.N. Security Council extended the mandate for the multinational forces through December 31, 2008.

On November 26, 2007, U.S. President George W. Bush and Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Kamel Al-Maliki signed a Declaration of Principles for a Long-Term Relationship of Cooperation and Friendship Between the Republic of Iraq and the United States of America. Pursuant to this Declaration, the parties pledged to “begin as soon as possible, with the aim to achieve, before July 31, 2008, agreements between the two governments with respect to the political, cultural, economic, and security spheres.” Among other things, the Declaration proclaims the parties’ intention to enter an agreement that would commit the United States to provide security assurances to Iraq, arm and train Iraqi security forces, and confront Al Qaeda and other terrorist entities within Iraqi territory.

On November 17, 2008, after months of negotiations, U.S. Ambassador to Iraq Ryan Crocker and Iraq Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari signed two documents: (1) the Strategic Framework Agreement for a Relationship of Friendship and Cooperation between the United States and the Republic of Iraq, and (2) the Agreement Between the United States of America and Republic of Iraq On the Withdrawal of United States Forces from Iraq and the Organization of Their Activities during Their Temporary Presence in Iraq. The second agreement is commonly referred to as the SOFA between the United States and Iraq and is incorporated by reference into the larger strategic agreement.

Congress has several tools by which to exercise oversight regarding negotiation, form, conclusion, and implementation of agreements by the United States. The agreements with Iraq were negotiated and concluded as executive agreements and entered into force on January 1, 2009, and yet there remain many unanswered questions about the specific terms within the SOFA. This report begins by discussing the historical legal framework governing U.S. military operations in Iraq. The report then provides a general background as to the content of agreements traditionally considered Status of Forces Agreements (SOFAs). Finally, the report discusses specific aspects of the SOFA, highlighting issues that may require continued congressional oversight. [1] – emphasis mine

In reality, as long as US forces were withdrawn from the cities by June 30, 2009, and the mandated date for full withdrawal “no later than December 31, 2011[2]” hasn’t expired, anything short of full withdrawal is consistent with the US-Iraq Status of Forces Agreement which became binding 19 days prior to Obama assuming the Presidency.

To put it bluntly, Obama just rode in as the current Lib Infesting 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. N.W. to take credit for the withdrawal as if he had to actually do something to bring it about. It’s pretty easy to be seen as making the difficult decisions when they have already been made by more responsible and prudent individuals before you ever needed to take the matter under consideration isn’t it?

In conclusion, Iraq is still a potentially dangerous place and the United States is still under an obligation to provide security and training for Iraqi Defense Forces. There is a reason why U.S. troops haven’t left the region entirely, but rather withdrawn to another friendly host country in the region from which rapid deployment is possible.

As the Obama Infestation plays games with semantics in regards to our fighting men and women in Iraq, the Emperor has egg on his face in regards to Afghanistan. In the past 3 days 21 U.S. troops have lost their lives in Afghanistan. One has to wonder, if Obama would have given Gen. Stanley McCrystal the full number of troops he asked for, could these 21 deaths have been minimized or avoided?

What Are They Up To? Nuclear Iran & The GZM – Could There Be Ties?

This is a post of pure speculation and all I’m asking is – IS IT POSSIBLE?

Today nuclear fuel has begun to arrive at a nuclear plant in Iran and engineers are beginning to fuel a reactor.

We know from being a nuclear nation for over 60 years that spent reactor fuel can be used to produce weapons grade Plutonium. As-a-matter-of-fact, the United States is the only nation in the world which uses spent reactor fuel to impregnate conventional weapons such as tank rounds. This gives the ammunition a greater ability to penetrate the armor plating of other tanks. So why is it beyond the comprehension of those hedging on the idea that a nuclear Iran is a dangerous Iran? It isn’t.

The Russians are attempting to give assurances that they will monitor the nuclear fuel and remove the spent fuel from the country. But what assurances does the world have against Iran deciding to expel Russian influences from their country once they have the ability to enrich uranium themselves? None.

In recent days it has come to light that a dedicated airline flight from Iran to Venezuela exists. But this is not a passenger flight as tickets on this flight do not exist. Speculation is that Iran is using this flight to transport Iranian agents to South America with designs on infiltrating the United States through our southern border. What is to say that nuclear materials cannot be transported through this same clandestine flight to Venezuela then across our southern border? Nothing.

The proposal to build the “Cordoba House” Mosque and “cultural center” in the heart of the financial sector should be a cause of worry. After-all, what was the goal of the Islamofascists in their efforts to attack the World Trade Center twice? Disrupt the US and world financial sector. What better way then if they can get an atomic bomb in the center of the financial sector.

Over the past week or so, I’ve been concentrating on the idea that the planned mosque is an effort to claim Ground Zero (and Lower Manhattan for that matter) in the name of Islam as Muslims have done throughout history. This I speculate is why they decided to name the mosque “Cordoba House”. Why else would the planned dedication of the construction site be on September 11, 2011?

But what if the real plan for the mosque is to make the building itself a safe haven to house an atomic device? This is a question that should be keeping you up nights. But before you discount it, look as some evidence.

The planners won’t deny that money from terrorist organizations and rogue states are finding its way into this project.
The area in which they wish to build this mosque is a business district with little to no residential areas.
The largest Muslim community is in Brooklyn not Manhattan.
There is an existing mosque approximately 20 blocks away from the planned site.
The planned site is in the heart of the financial district just blocks away from Wall Street.
The goal of the 9/11 terrorists and the 1993 WTC bombers was to disrupt the global financial markets.

What purpose does building this mosque serve? None. Unless it is either to insult the American people (which it is already doing), claim the area in the name of Islam as conquered territory, as ground zero of a larger attack on our financial sector, or all three.

The possibility of it being all three is too strong to deny. A possibility is a potential threat and all potential threats should be eliminated before they become actual threats.

We can no longer be a nation which reacts to incidents. We must be a pro-active nation which identifies potential threats and eliminates them before they become actual threats. The mentality of reacting to incidents is what got us into trouble in 2001. And it lead to the deaths of 3,000 people.

How many would we lose if even a small device, able to be smuggled into the country through our unsecured southern border, were to be detonated in Lower Manhattan? One would be too many much less the thousands that could be killed if a blast were to take place during the week just prior to the opening bell, during the trading day, or just after the closing bell.

The biggest threat of a nuclear Iran is the fact that they would not hesitate to use a nuclear device. The radical Islamofascits running that nation welcome the idea of mutually assured destruction (M.A.D.) so the threat of self inhalation is not a concern for them. They see it as their duty to bring about the end of days and we – the United States of America – are the means by which they mean to achieve that end. The Cordoba House Mosque may be the Trojan Horse the Iranians need to bring this all together.

In writing this post I’m only asking you – the reader – to ask the question, “IS IT POSSIBLE?”

Oh, and one more thing. That secret Iranian flight that makes a monthly trip to Venezuela is said to have already transported Iranian “shock troops” to the western hemisphere. Where they are is anyone’s guess. Perhaps they are already here in the land of milk and honey. Troubling thought, isn’t it?

GZM (Cordoba House) Faces New Obsticle; AP Loses Spine and Chooses Newspeak

Those behind the Ground Zero Mosque are being deceptive when they say that its purpose is to build understanding. The truth is they wish to project an aura of dominance over the Infidel Society that they refer to as “The Great Satan” – The United States.

The Ground Zero Mosque project, affectionately called “Cordoba House” by Jihadis in honor of the conquering of Cordoba Spain in the name of Allah. In 711 A.D., Cordoba Spain was conquered by an Islamic army and became the provincial capital of the Caliphate of Damascus. The Arabic name for Cordoba was قرطبة (Qurṭuba). In 716, Cordoba was elected to become the capital of an independent Emirate known as al-Andalus. Not long after, it became it’s own Caliphate.

I submit to you that any talk of “building understanding” is nice talk to worm their way into our society in order to lay a “framework” to conquer us from within. Jihadis no longer attack with armies. They stealthily infiltrate their opponents and conquer from within like cancer does to the human body. If we allow this mosque to be built in the name of our Constitution and in the name of religious freedom, they will use this mistaken tolerance against us and soon, there will be no religious freedom left. You will submit to Islam or you will die. That is the ONLY reason for calling this Jihadi Citadel “Cordoba House” and building it in the heart of our financial center. Allowing it to be built will complete the work of the 9/11 terrorists.

The planners are running into an obstacle they hadn’t counted on – workers.

According to a report in the New York Daily News…

A growing number of New York construction workers are vowing not to work on the mosque planned near Ground Zero.

The grass-roots movement is gaining momentum on the Internet. One construction worker created the “Hard Hat Pledge” on his blog and asked others to vow not to work on the project if it stays on Park Place.

It would be difficult to have a mosque that builders refuse to build.

However, the planners are getting aid from the Progressive State Controlled Media (to use a Rushism).

The Associated Press is encouraging news reporters, especially those who contribute to the AP, to refrain from using the term ‘Ground Zero Mosque’.

Here is some guidance on covering the NYC mosque story, with assists from Chad Roedemeier in the NYC bureau and Terry Hunt in Washington:

1. We should continue to avoid the phrase “ground zero mosque” or “mosque at ground zero” on all platforms. (We’ve very rarely used this wording, except in slugs, though we sometimes see other news sources using the term.) The site of the proposed Islamic center and mosque is not at ground zero, but two blocks away in a busy commercial area. We should continue to say it’s “near” ground zero, or two blocks away.

WE WILL CHANGE OUR SLUG ON THIS STORY LATER TODAY from “BC-Ground Zero Mosque” to “BC-NYC Mosque.”

In short headlines, some ways to refer to the project include:

_ mosque 2 blocks from WTC site
_ Muslim (or Islamic) center near WTC site
_ mosque near ground zero
_ mosque near WTC site

We can refer to the project as a mosque, or as a proposed Islamic center that includes a mosque.

It may be useful in some stories to note that Muslim prayer services have been held since 2009 in the building that the new project will replace. The proposal is to create a new, larger Islamic community center that would include a mosque, a swimming pool, gym, auditorium and other facilities.

2. Here is a succinct summary of President Obama’s position:

Obama has said he believes Muslims have the right to build an Islamic center in New York as a matter of religious freedom, though he’s also said he won’t take a position on whether they should actually build it.

As you can see, the Associated Press is taking its marching orders directly from the Emperor. So much for freedom of the press.

You know, I think I’ve read about a society which changes their modes of speech and their memories of history based solely on political necessity. What was that… ? I can’t remember what… Oh yeah! It was George Orwell’s ’1984′!

To all of you who said that I’m barking up the wrong tree or I’m some sort of tin-foil hat wearing conspiracy theorist for comparing Obama to Orwell’s antagonist Big Brother perhaps you need to wake up and hear the suicide bombers. They are telling us in plain terms what they are doing! You need to pay attention!

Obama wants to advance the Progressive agenda and the Progressive agenda is total control. However, what they do not realize is that by allowing Jihadis to build mosques of this type on US soil will short-circuit that agenda. For my part, I reject both as an option. They are both entirely anti-American and they are perverting our Constitution in order to wage war against it.

Those entering our armed forces take an oath as does the President of the United States and all other members of our government. And although they each have wording that differs slightly from the others, the basic concept and basic pledge is exactly the same…

I [state your name], do solemnly swear (or affirm), that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States, against all enemies, foreign or domestic, and that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same…

Nothing that this Infestation is doing is supporting, defending or bearing true faith and allegiance to the US Constitution. In fact, it is attempting to tear it up with every new bill signed into law and every new regulation put into place through executive order or bureaucratic edict. The Obama Infestation and, dare I say the entire Democrat Leadership apparatus, is focused on a “fundamental transformation of the United States”. We should all fear what that “transformation” entails because I fear it won’t be anything resembling freedom.

It’s no wonder 18-24% of the American people believe Obama is a Muslim. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck…

Obama’s MSM Shill, Questioning His Muslim Heritage, and Journalistic Malpractice

Amid the fresh controversy created by the recent release of the results of two polls showing an increasing number of Americans believe Barack Hussein Obama is Muslim, a headline on The Drudge Report caught my eye. It involves some items printed in that bastion of legitimate news, The New York Times (all the news that is fit to wrap fish in; or line bird cages for that matter).

On May 12, 2008, the NYT asked the question – President Apostate? The Times actually had the audacity to ask the questions that needed to be asked, however, they failed to deliver an answer.

From the NYT:

One danger of such charisma, however, is that it can evoke unrealistic hopes of what a candidate could actually accomplish in office regardless of his own personal abilities. Case in point is the oft-made claim that an Obama presidency would be welcomed by the Muslim world.

This idea often goes hand in hand with the altogether more plausible argument that Mr. Obama’s election would raise America’s esteem in Africa — indeed, he already arouses much enthusiasm in his father’s native Kenya and to a degree elsewhere on the continent.

But it is a mistake to conflate his African identity with his Muslim heritage. Senator Obama is half African by birth and Africans can understandably identify with him. In Islam, however, there is no such thing as a half-Muslim. Like all monotheistic religions, Islam is an exclusive faith.

As the son of the Muslim father, Senator Obama was born a Muslim under Muslim law as it is universally understood. It makes no difference that, as Senator Obama has written, his father said he renounced his religion. Likewise, under Muslim law based on the Koran his mother’s Christian background is irrelevant. – emphasis mine

The Times never went beyond this statement of reality. Instead they chose to point to his “chosen Christian faith”.

Since asking the question back in May 2008, the NYT and other “legitimate” news sources have conveniently avoided revisiting the question of Obama’s faith. However, in the dust-up created by the proposed Ground Zero Mosque (the so-called Cordoba House), questions of Obama’s faith has once again entered the American discussion.

A Pew Research poll revealed that 1-in-5 Americans believe Barack Hussein Obama to be a submissive of Muhammad’s delusional visions and rantings. A Time poll on the same subject revealed that 1-in-4 believe Obama is a Muslim. Given that Obama has hosted a Ramadan celebration at the White House, snubbed the Boy Scouts of America by not attending their prayer breakfast, and making statements supporting the planned Cordoba House, the American people are beginning to look more closely at the man with the middle name Hussein. But where is the press?

While we again wait for the main stream media to catch-up to the American people and ask the tough questions they should have asked prior to November 4, 2008, perhaps we should move on as if they will choose to continue to ignore their responsibilities in favor of being Mr. Obama’s dissemination of propaganda conduit. Although I think that is beginning to wear on the media as well. After-all, who can glean any information out of Robert Gibbs? The man stutters more than Mel Tillis.

As for the Emperor… What I can’t understand is the love affair that American academics have with the moron. I mean, who takes a teleprompter on vacation? Obama, that’s who. For someone who was to be a great departure from the poor rhetorical skills of George W. Bush he seems to be extremely dependent upon prepared remarks. Bush was best when he diverted from the prepared statements. Obama on the other hand can’t function without his teleprompter. Off-the-cuff Obama is a stammering idiot. No wonder he keeps Gibbs. Birds of a feather etc…

And what is with that smug Leninist posing? It’s like he has a need to show that he is superior to everyone else staring off into the distance in an attempt to show he’s a visionary. It’s called arrogance – a disease of the elite.

The American press has failed the American people. To get honest reporting about the Obama Infestation one has to read news sources in the UK. This fact alone should be proof positive of the journalistic malpractice being committed by the American dead trees and alphabets. Save FoxNews, America’s journalistic community is devoid of any integrity as they actively shill for the Progressive Utopian Emperor. And they aren’t even attempting to hide it anymore.

The White House addressed the latest questioning of Obama’s faith by having a Communications underling tell the White House Press Pool that Obama is Christian and he prays everyday. The fact that he prays everyday isn’t the concern of the people. What the people want to know is if he finds the need to orient his body towards Mecca when he does. “He prays everyday” what kind of fools do they think the people are? Muslims pray everyday as well – 5 times!

I don’t give a rat’s ass if he’s a Muslim unless he wants to be President. If he’s the President of the United States, in a time of war, against an enemy that is waging a war in the name of their religion, and that religion is the same one that the President is accused of being a member of, there are questions that need to be answered.

In 1960, many Protestant Americans worried that John F. Kennedy’s Catholic faith would be an impediment to his ability to govern. After-all, who would he be loyal to, the US Constitution which translates into the American people or the Pope. The same should be asked of Obama. Who is he loyal to? The Constitution – which he has a track record of downplaying as a contract of negative liberties – or is he a submissive to Islam? I fear the truth may be that he is a submissive follower of Islam. Especially when he refers to Muhammad’s horror novel as “the holy Qu’ran” and greets Muslims in perfect Arabic.

In 1960, the American press asked the questions and answers were given. John Kennedy WAS elected President and by all accounts his faith never played a direct roll in his governance. However in 2010, nearly 2 years into the Obama Infestation and the American people are still asking the same questions of Barack Hussein Obama. And like all the other questioning of Obama’s past, it gets avoided. Why is it so important for him to shield the American people from his past? Perhaps it is because he’s on a mission that he’s already explained to the American people at $20 a copy. His book “Dreams from My Father” outlines what his father dreamed of for Kenya. Perhaps Junior is following in his absent daddy’s footsteps and wishes to carry on his pappy’s dream in the United States. It’s called Communism.

At a time when the socialist societies of the world are beginning to downsize their governments, Barry O is expanding ours. Why? It fulfills the strategy of instituting socialism outlined by Columbia Professors Richard Cloward and Francis Fox Piven. The Cloward-Piven Strategy to Implement Socialist Revolution was written in 1966 at the height of civil unrest in the United States. Progressives and Socialists believed they could force revolution. The strategy was then and is now to overwhelm the system and cause it to collapse. It’s on its way thanks to Obama’s Keynesian economic policies.

But where is the press?

Don’t Miss the Bigger Picture of the Ground Zero Mosque

Opponents of the Ground Zero Mosque are missing one important point. Muslims see conquered territory as Muslim land and are compelled to build a Mosque to celebrate that “fact”. Why else is there a Mosque on Temple Mount? Muslims claim it as a holy site because it was conquered by the Ottoman Empire. The same is true of Ground Zero.

9/11 is seen in the Islamic world as a victory and as such, Ground Zero belongs to them. After-all, they conquered it. It doesn’t matter that very few people, let alone Muslims, live in Lower Manhattan. Those streets are occupied by the financial industry and very few residential spaces even exist. The largest concentration of Muslims in New York actually live in Brooklyn. So why build the Mosque near Ground Zero? Because they claim it by virtue of victory.

Islam is not concerned with religious sensitivities no matter how often they cry about being discriminated against. Islam is about Islamic domination of the world. Muslims are commanded by Muhammad to spread Sharia Law around the world and this Mosque is representative of that effort.

Just imagine for a moment that you are 10 years into the future and that Mosque has been permitted to be built. You take the family to New York and you go to visit Ground Zero to pay your respects to those who died on that day. All of a sudden the Call to Prayer echos through the streets of Lower Manhattan. At that moment, what will run through your head? I know what would run through mine. Radical Islam won.

The United States has always had a policy of not negotiating with terrorists. It seems that the Obama Infestation’s goals of “fundamentally transforming America” means an end to that policy. Allowing that Mosque to be built goes beyond negotiating with terrorists, it admits defeat to terrorism.

For the record, I do not believe the pile of male bovine excrement being pushed as an insult to our collective intelligence that Islam is a “religion of peace”. Of all the world’s religions – both monotheistic and polytheistic – only one teaches that death and destruction are pathways to the promised land – Islam.

Buddhism, Hindi, Judaism, Christianity (in all its forms), Wicca, Druidism, the extinct religions of Ancient Egypt, Greece, Rome, and others, none but Islam teaches death and destruction is a pathway to GOD. There is something inexcusably evil about those who ignore these facts.

As the video 3 Things You Should Know About Islam explains, the Qur’an was written by one person over the course of his lifetime. Muhammad wrote of peace in the beginning of the Qur’an but later he wrote the passages which inspire the so-called radicals. It is kind of like the 18th amendment to the US Constitution. Although it was repealed, it remains in the Constitution and has been superseded by the 21st Amendment. The Qur’an is similar in that the radical passages supersede the peaceful ones. This being true, I submit that all of Islam is radical. All of Islam teaches that death and destruction is a pathway to “paradise”, and all of Islam is on a quest to dominate the world with Sharia Law.

The desire to build a Mosque at Ground Zero has nothing to do with building bridges, but rather everything to do with claiming victory at the site of a national tragedy and remind us that they believe they’ve won. By permitting it to be built near that sacred site, we will be submitting to them and admitting defeat.

The Japanese would never dream of building a “cultural center” at Pearl Harbor. The United States would never contemplate erecting a museum celebrating the atomic age at Hiroshima or Nagasaki but yet the Islamofascists have a desire to insult the American people by building a Mosque and “cultural center” within sight of what remains of the World Trade Center which was destroyed by 19 of their followers. Who is being insensitive?

Since the 2006 midterm elections, the leftist political hacks of the Democrat Party made it their goal to do whatever necessary to grab control of the nation from Republicans. This involved a massive campaign that actually began with the news media. It is no secret that the media has been in the pocket of the Democrats for decades. Objectivity went out the window when Walter Cronkite made his famous declaration that the war in Vietnam was lost in 1968.

The American public began to have their opinions about the Bush Administration altered by the news media in 2003 when the bodies of American soldiers who just captured the entire nation of Iraq began to come home. Once the war shifted from a military on military operation to an insurgency suppression mission, the bodies began to pile up and the American public’s stomach for war had turned. The news media began to beat a steady anti-war, anti-Bush drumbeat that culminated in Democrat victories in 2006 and 2008. Their only real battle cry to win popular support? We aren’t Bush.

Well they certainly aren’t Bush. Bush for all his faults did do something right. After we were attacked on September 11, 2001 he took the fight to the enemy. He picked the battlefield and our troops were the only Americans in harm’s way. Our honorable troops. The best trained and best equipped fighting force this planet has ever seen kept us safe at home by confronting the enemy on soil that he claims is his. And because of this, no successful attacks on US soil were able to be carried out.

Fast forward to 2008. Barack Hussein Obama ran on a platform of fancy rhetoric and platitudes that boiled down to one simple message. “I’m not Bush.” Due to the American public’s fatigue of the the Bush Administration largely due to the aforementioned drum beating of the liberal press that the Bush Administration didn’t seem to wish to counter, Barack Hussein Obama won the election and the Democrat Party gain a larger majority in both the House and Senate after having a 2-year majority where nothing got done.

The young new inexperience President decided that a naive apologetic approach was a way to subdue the world’s anti-American sentiment. He reach out with olive branch diplomacy* which only resulted in the President of Iran laughing at his gesture. Attacks against US interests abroad increased and the situation in Afghanistan worsened. Worst of all, 3 separate attacks have been either attempted or carried out on US soil in 2009 alone.

Say what you want about George W. Bush, but his policies did keep us safe for nearly 8 years. Those of us on the right have our own issues with Bush’s brand of social liberalism and fiscal irresponsibility but on terrorism, he knew what to do. The boy President (and aspiring Emperor of the World) hasn’t a clue. We see this when his Infestation makes statements that they later have to retract because he himself says, “we screwed up.”

Many are calling for heads to roll and to be honest, a few should. But not solely due to the failures of the past couple of weeks. Some of these characters are in positions that they are ill-equipped to handle. Including the President himself.

Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano is a complete and utter disaster as head of Homeland Security. Early in this Infestation she made declarations about the war on terrorism that a 5-year old child would call naive. The worst of which was re-naming terrorist attacks “man made disasters”. What?!? If anything is a “man made disaster” it is the Department of Homeland Security under this President and Janet Napolitano.

Another example of her incompetence is declaring that returning veterans and those who oppose the socialist agenda of this President to be domestic terrorists giving the illusion that if you oppose this socialist take over of our country you are worse than those who fly planes into skyscrapers. I’m sorry Janet, but that level of incompetence is what led to the death of an Army Recruiter in Little Rock, AR and the deaths of 13 people at Fr. Hood.

Should heads roll? Damn skippy! Let’s first start with Napolitano. How about Hillary Clinton? The State Department under her watch issued a visa to the panty bomber. How about Leon Penetta? The CIA under his watch failed to identify this guy. What about Michael Leiter who was skiing? If he must go so should Obama. After-all, Leiter didn’t do anything that the President wasn’t doing.

After the incident, Obama played 3 rounds of golf and didn’t say anything about it for 3 days. Talk about failure to perform the duties for which you were elected. Problem is, if Obama goes, we get stuck with that insanely ignorant Joe Biden. A man that couldn’t even win his own state’s primary. Do you think the people of Delaware know something about Big Mouth Joe?

So how safe are we? Under this President, we aren’t. We have in excess of 5,000 miles of largely unguarded boarder. The Infestation is more interested in monitoring Glenn Beck than Islamic Terrorists. Every time this Infestation makes explanations about what happened, they reveal more weaknesses in our system to our enemies.

Others that need to go…

Tim Geithner. How does a tax cheat get to become the head of the Fed in New York let alone Treasury Secretary?
Eric Holder. Anyone who would treat illegal enemy combatants as if they were defendants in a criminal proceeding is a fraud.

What about some in Congress?

Charlie Rangle. Again, how does a tax cheat end up writing tax law?
Christopher Dodd. Countrywide and connections with AIG not to mention an incident involving his best buddy Teddy Kennedy and a “waitress sandwich”? Should we wait for his retirement? He should be run out of the country on a rail.

I could go on but I’m approaching 1,000 words now. But I have 2 final questions before I go.

You should all ask yourselves…

Hasan’s Murderous Rampage and His PTSD BS

As someone who has been exposed to high levels of stress in my day along with a working knowledge of what Posttraumatic Stress Disorder actually is, I’m finding it extremely difficult to buy the argument that Nadal Hasan is a victim of PTSD and simply snapped.

In 2003 I was in Las Vegas for a Convention for the Paper Allied-Industrial Chemical and Energy Worker’s International Union Annual Convention when I received a telephone call informing me that there had been a shooting at the plant where I worked and represented. A member of my crew to be exact shot and killed 1 member of management and wounded two others before turning the gun on himself. Luckily, these three innocent victims were the only ones. The gunman in this case had much more ammunition than he expended and he also had additional weapons in his car.

Now I’m not going to get into why he did what he did. But the woman that he killed was one of my primary contacts with management during my day to day representation of my people. So to say I have a working knowledge of what PTSD is I would think is a fair statement.

In addition to my personal experiences, Mrs. Gribbit has been on hiatus from college for a couple of years now. Her field of study? Psychology. Her goal is actually to get her PhD.

I just so happen to have a copy of the DSM-IV-TR[1] right in front of me as I type out this post. 309.81 Posttraumatic Stress Disorder is outlined on pages 463 – 468 of the DSM-IV-TR. Strangely, I cannot find anywhere in any of this text about PTSD any qualifier for a diagnosis of PTSD for an individual who did not personally experience trauma.

Hasan’s apologizers would have you believe that simply listening to the stories being told by actual combat veterans are traumatic enough to justify a diagnosis of PTSD and therefore, he is not responsible for causing the deaths of 13 unarmed soldiers and wounding 30 more. A sort of Second Hand PTSD or something.

Beginning on page 467 of the DSM-IV-TR are the Diagnostic Criteria for PTSD…

A. The person has been exposed to a traumatic event in which both of the following were present:

the person experienced, witnessed, or was confronted with an event or events that involved actual or threatened death or serious injury, or a threat to the physical integrity of self or others.

the person’s response involved intense fear, helplessness, or horror. Note: In children, this may be expressed instead by disorganized or agitated behavior.

By this definition Hasan doesn’t qualify for diagnosis because he was not faced with a traumatic event that involved acual or threatened death or serious injury until he entered that building and began shooting.

I could go on and on listing the different diagnostic criteria for PTSD but Hasan doesn’t meet a single one of them. And unfortunately for those wishing to make a case of victimhood on the part of this terrorist, there is no such thing as PTSD by proxy or Second Hand PTSD.

What it actually comes down to is fear. Fear on the part of those wishing to find a medical reason for Hasan’s actions rather than taking the man at his own word. Or should I say words.

Eye witnesses (see also victims) of Hasan’s rampage have reported that Hasan yelled, “Allahu Akbar” (God is Great) as he began his slaughter. Point one for terrorist attack.

There were webpostings about his convoluted attempts at making a case that suicide bombers were like heroic soldiers who throw themselves on grenades to save others. There are accounts of his praising a murderous attack on a Arkansas Recruiting Station by an Islamic extremist. And now the feds are looking into possible financial contributions to the Jihad sent to Pakistan. Points 2, 3, & 4 for terrorist attack.

Sorry folks. This isn’t a case of someone who snapped from stress. This is a case of home grown terrorism because this government and our fellow citizens are too afraid to stand up for the truth.

Hasan is a life-long follower of Muhammad. A warlord and pedophile who in an intoxicated state had some sort of revelation from “Allah”. This is an ideology which preaches evangelicalism through the point of a sword. If you are not a believer in Islam, you are an infidel worthy of being beheaded.

Most religions of the world are peaceful. I don’t agree with most of them but they don’t preach death and destruction in the name of God. Only Islam does.

At a time where we are all hypersensitive and afraid to offend, Muslims treat women like cattle. They are intolerant of everybody and have a desire to dominate the world. They are stuck in an 8th century mentality of barbarism.

As the news agencies are walking on eggshells avoiding calling this man what he truly is, remember one thing. He is a follower of the religion of death and destruction. Life means very little to him. In his mind this wasn’t PTSD it was war – jihad – whether ordered by Osama bin Laden directly or not the effect is the same. There are 13 fewer infidels ready for battle in Afghanistan and/or Iraq.

This wasn’t a mental problem this was an anger problem and an indoctrination problem. Although he was a doctor, a psychiatrist, he was weak-minded individual who believed the lies of the pedophile and warlord muhammad.

After he’s hung he should be immediately cremated. Anyone who knows anything about Islam will understand what that would mean.

SUPPLEMENTAL

For the benefit for any of you who wish to know more about PTSD but do not have the ability to access a DSM-IV-TR, I am including the rest of the diagnostic criteria found on page 468 of the DSM-IV-TR:

B. The traumatic event is persistently reexperienced in one (or more) of the following ways:

recurrent and intrusive distressing recollections of the event, including images, thoughts, or perceptions. Note: In young children, repetitive play may occur in which themes or aspects of the trauma are expressed.

recurrent distressing dreams of the event. Note: In children, there may be frightening dreams without recognizable content.

acting or feeling as if the traumatic event were recurring (includes a sense of reliving the experience, illusions, hallucinations, and dissociative flashback episodes, including those that occur of awakening or when intoxicated). Note: In young children, trauma-specific reenactment may occur.

intense psychological distress at exposure to internal or external cues that symbolize or resemble an aspect of the traumatic event

physiological reactivity on exposure to internal or external cues that symbolize or resemble an aspect of the traumatic event.

C. Persistent avoidance of stimuli associated with the trauma and numbing of general responsiveness (not present before the trauma, as indicated by three (or more) of the following:

efforts to avoid thoughts, feelings, or conversations associated with the trauma

efforts to avoid activities, places, or people that arouse recollections of the trauma

inability to recall an important aspect of trauma

markedly diminished interest or participation in significant activities

feeling of detachment or estrangement from others

restricted range of affect (e.g., unable to have loving feelings)

sense of foreshortened future (e.g., does not expect to have a career, marriage, children, or a normal life span)

D. Persistent symptoms of increased arousal (not present before the trauma), as indicated by two (or more) of the following:

difficulty falling or staying asleep

irritability or outbursts of anger

difficulty concentrating

hypervigilance

exaggerated startle response

E. Duration of the disturbance (symptoms in Criteria B, C, and D) is more that 1 month.

F. The disturbance causes clinically significant distress or impairment in social, occupational, or other important areas of functioning.

Specify if:

Acute: if duration of symptoms is less than 3 months
Chronic: if suration of symptoms is 3 months or more

Specify if:

With Delayed Onset: if onset of symptoms is at least 6 months after the stressor.

Again – I fail to see how Hasan qualifies for this diagnosis.

Obama’s Delay Is Turning Afghanistan Into A Quagmire

On the campaign trail, candidate Obama famously called Afghanistan the “good war”. But the truth of the matter, Afghanistan was the stagnant war. The enemy shifted its focus to Iraq because that is where we chose to fight. The Taliban and al Qaeda where chased out of Afghanistan and into Pakistan and needed to be regrouped. So they called on Islamic “freedom fighters” to engage the mean old United States in its war against Islam in Iraq. Iraq for all the left’s bitching was the front line of the Global War on Terrorism.

Now that the Islamofascists have had their collective asses handed to them in Iraq, the newly reorganized al Qaeda and Taliban are beginning to fight back in Afghanistan. Now that Iraq has been largely turned over to the Iraqis (prematurely or not) US forces are now needed in mass in Afghanistan or all will be lost.

The President hand picked his own commander in Afghanistan. He just happens to be the man who got Saddam Hussein back in 2003. However when his commander asked for an Afghanistan “Surge” as General David Patreus had in Iraq, our paper President is indecisive and soldiers on the ground are dying.

Let me remind you that Obama called Afghanistan the “good war”. Promised to take the fight to Afghanistan. In the grand old tradition of the left during the Bush years, it seems that Obama lied and people are dying.

His indecision has led to a massive increase in the number of casualties.

U.S. forces have withdrawn from an isolated base in eastern Afghanistan that insurgents attacked last week in one of the deadliest battles of the war for U.S. troops, the NATO-led coalition said Friday.

The pullout from the Kamdesh outpost near the Pakistani border is likely to embolden insurgent fighters in the region. The Taliban swiftly claimed “victory” for forcing the coalition to leave and said they had raised their flag above the town.

Now in all fairness the withdrawal was planned however, if the President wasn’t dragging his feet about increasing the number of ground troops in Afghanistan, perhaps the pull-out would not have been necessary at all. But Obama, like most Democrat Presidents since the end of World War II is indecisive. He would rather micro-manage from Washington than commit to winning the war on the battlefield using the best information possible – his commanders on the ground. This concern for not losing a battle tends to lead to drawn out conflicts.

Examples – Harry Truman’s inability to win in Korea led to years of stalemate and hundreds of thousands of dead and wounded because the President couldn’t pull the trigger. LBJ’s micro-managing of Vietnam led to hundreds of thousands of names on a granite wall in Arlington, Virginia.

The longer Obama stalls on an Afghan Surge, the more bodies will be coming home either mangled or in bags. This is the stuff that quagmires are made of.

Barack Obama we are told is a smart man. He attended Columbia University and Harvard Law. He lectured Constitutional law at the University of Chicago, but does any of this qualify him to be Commander-in-Chief? The short answer is no. The next question is, why was he elected?
