The ‘Slaughter Solution’ Officially Nixed By Senate Parliamentarian

Ruling Kills an Option for Moving Health Bill…

I read that headline and got excited. “Is the plan to use Reconciliation dead?” Not exactly…

According to Roll Call, the Senate Parliamentarian has made a ruling that directly impacts a tactic that has been in the works in the House that has been dubbed the ‘Slaughter Solution’. Named for House Rules Chairman – Louise Slaughter – it is a tactic whereby the House would approve the Senate bill but would not forward it onto the White House for signature until AFTER the Senate approved changes to the current Senate bill through Reconciliation. Problem – the bill must become law before the Senate can modify it through Budget Reconciliation. Meaning, it must have the President’s signature BEFORE the Senate can proceed. If it chooses to.

As I’ve pointed out before, Senate Democrats are going to want the issue of “health care” to die and die quickly after a law if passed. Once the ink from the President’s signature is dry on that document, they want to forget about it because that bill represents a massive net loss in Senate seats for the Democrats on November 4th. Dragging this thing out will only keep the matter fresh in the minds of the voting public and they Do – Not – Want – That. Senate Democrats are banking on America’s short-term memories and political ADHD to keep them in power even if by only one seat.

If this bill is approved by the House, after the President’s signature is on it, should the Senate attempt to amend it through Budget Reconciliation they can only address items that impact the federal budget. Policy is left out of the equation anyway. So any hopes for substantive changes in the bill are automatically nixed. However, the Republicans will stone wall any changes made to the bill through the amendment process further dragging out the debate. ‘Health Care’ – more aptly named Death Care, will drag out towards the summer months when every single Republican candidate for House and Senate will be using members voting records on this hotbed issue to sink every single Democrat candidate they can.

The American public want a mulligan. They would rather nothing pass than this bill. But Democrat understand if this bill does not pass the President’s agenda is sunk. With 279 of them currently serving in elected office indelibly tied to Obama on this issue, Michael Moore’s prediction of the November election will be an inconvenient reality. He told Rachel Madcow…

“And now it’s like, I just feel like the Democrats are – they’re in for an ass-whooping of Biblical proportions in November if they don’t get off the dime and do the job they were sent there to do. I mean that. I mean, it – don’t they see that?” – source Newsbusters

Vulnerable Democrats are avoiding the President like the plague. When Obama chose to propagandize the American people through an orchestrated event at a St. Louis high school where was Missouri Senatorial candidate Robin Carnahan? She was attending a fundraiser in Washington DC. While Obama was helping incumbent Senator Claire McCaskill raise money for her 2012 re-election campaign.

Obama is fast becoming a political liability for Democrats facing a jobloss in 2010. His track record to this point is dismal. He failed in Copenhagen twice. He failed to be any help in New Jersey and Virginia as both races for governor were lost to the Republican candidates. He failed in Massachusetts allowing the Republican candidate to be elected and losing his filibuster proof Senate.

I said his filibuster proof Senate because that is what it was. A 60 vote majority of yes-men/women. With 60 votes they could have literally rubber-stamped anything that he wanted. But they didn’t and that’s how he ended up in this predicament.

How else can you explain what has happened? How else could his “health care” takeover have failed? It was completely done within his Party. Blaming Republicans to his base may be popular with his incredibly shrinking base but the reality of the situation is understood by a vast majority of voting Americans and it shows in the polls. Even the incredibly Democrat friendly Gallup Poll has Obama’s approval rating at an all time low (for their poll) at 46%. How much lower can he go?

According to Rasmussen Reports and their Presidential Approval Index he is sitting at -21. Meaning 21% more Americans strongly disapprove of his job performance than strongly approve.

Before the 2008 elections I told all of you that Obama is a man who has failed at every single thing he has tried except running for a couple of political offices – including the Presidency. Why would the electorate put trust in a man who is an epic failure? They did and this is what we got.

He is liar of grand proportions who makes Slick Willy’s finger wagging look like an innocent white lie. He has broken just about every single campaign promise he made. Why would anyone trust this man? The incredibly shocking thing is there are millions who do. Thank GOD most of them never vote.

Euro Doomed To Collapse

Europe is in such a shambles that Greece is on the verge of total chaos and the Euro is in danger of complete collapse but yet the President of the United States prefers to follow a EuroSocialist model because he sees it as a success. Every single item on the Obama agenda is EXACTLY what is leading to the collapse of the economy in Greece and the rest of the EU. But he trudges on even considering expanding executive power by issuing Executive Orders as the only way to implement his EuroSocialist modeled agenda.

The European single currency is facing an ‘inevitable break-up’ a leading French bank claimed yesterday.

Strategists at Paris-based Société Générale said that any bailout of the stricken Greek economy would only provide ’sticking plasters’ to cover the deep- seated flaws in the eurozone bloc.

The stark warning came as the euro slipped further on the currency markets and dire growth figures raised the prospect of a ‘double-dip’ recession in the embattled zone.

Claims that the euro could be headed for total collapse are particularly striking when they come from one of the oldest and largest banks in France – a core founder-member.

In a note to investors, SocGen strategist Albert Edwards said: ‘My own view is that there is little “help” that can be offered by the other eurozone nations other than temporary, confidence-giving “sticking plasters” before the ultimate denouement: the break-up of the eurozone.’

He added: ‘Any “help” given to Greece merely delays the inevitable break-up of the eurozone.’

According to the article, the Euro has lost 10% of its value since November. The Dollar and Pound are each gaining on the dominant European currency.

A few weeks ago, I wrote a post asking, “Economic Recovery Or Economic Ruin? What Is He Up To?“, in which I described exactly this scenario possibly happening here in the United States.

Europe is beginning its descent, will the US follow? It will if Congress does not end the insanity. Congress will only act if we force them to.

Today Sen. Evan Bayh announced that he will not be seeking re-election in spite of leading in the generic poll and banking a $13 million war chest. Why? Does he see what his President has done? Does he see the writing on the wall? I bet he does.

The President will now be issuing executive orders to slip in provisions of ObamaCare and Cap and Tax. Economy destroying measures by executive decree. He needs to be shut down NOW!

Obama’s Promise to Make Pigs Fly

This week, the President and his Infestation began to speak of a ~~second stimulus~~ “jobs bill”. They’ve been instructed to not use the word stimulus but to use “jobs bill” instead according to an Infestation official in a television interview. If you are thinking, “yeah, it’s about time the Infestation addresses the space station level unemployment/under-employment numbers,” perhaps you need to take a few minutes and think about where the government gets all this money they are doling out.

First and foremost, the government doesn’t have any money. To insist that the government is using government money to fund something is ignorant to that fact. The government gets the money it wastes from “We The People” through the over-taxation of the employed. Government doesn’t create anything or provide a marketable skill for which it is compensated. Government is nothing more than a clearing house for pilfered money.

If you then think about the efficiency with with the federal government operates you must come to the conclusion that the feds manage money like a crack addict. For example – welfare programs. The government does not spend 100% of every dollar designated for helping the poor on the poor. It only spends about $.70 on the dollar. The other $.30 pays for the bureaucracy the government has in place to “redistribute” the nation’s wealth. Seeings how the government can only achieve D worthy work in this area, does it make sense to give them more money to waste? I mean a 70% success rate any student will tell you is almost failing.

As more and more people are forced onto the government dole due to the mismanagement of the economy by the President, his Infestation, and the pinheads in the majority in both houses of Congress, that system of “redistributing” what’s left of the nation’s wealth will only get less efficient. But then again, that is what Obama learned from his study of Cloward-Piven.

Remember their strategy was to overwhelm the system in order to create a crisis for which the only answer would be to implement draconian solutions such as socialism. That is why it is called the Cloward-Piven Strategy for Socialist Revolution. And Obama studied it.

His calls for a ~~second stimulus~~ “jobs bill” are just another phase in his plan to “fundamentally transform America”. He’s going to “transform” us from a nation of free peoples seeking for our own niche in society from which we can prosper into a society enslaved by an ever present, all knowing, all seeing, and all intrusive government which tells us what we will do as an occupation and how much wealth we can accumulate. Something tells me that Obama was cheering for “Big Brother” in George Orwell’s ‘1984′.

He boldly touts the “success” of his first stimulus package citing a phantom 2 million “created or saved” jobs. But where were they? Who knows? The Infestation sure doesn’t. Their own website recovery.gov lists allegedly “created or saved” jobs in Congressional districts that do not exist in zip codes that don’t exist either. If there is no such location, how then can there be a job “created or saved” there?

When Obama pushed for his stimulus package, he promised that without it unemployment “may go as high as 8%”. Here we are sitting at 10% unemployment (with many states way above 10%) after his stimulus package passed. If the President was right when he warned us it would go to 8% without his stimulus, had Congress not acted would unemployment have gotten this high? Many believe not. Many believe (and count me among them) that the President’s stimulus program made economic conditions worse.

And while we are talking about these lofty unemployment numbers, let us not lose sight of the fact that the number of unemployed/under-employed in this country is in excess of 17%. That’s 17% of our nation’s population either not working or working for a wage that is insufficient to pay the monthly bills. That is a crime.

Quoting Lewis Carroll –

The truth of the matter is that for all the President’s talk about rescuing this nation’s economy nothing could be further from his mind. He is not interested in rescuing this economy as-a-matter-of-fact he intends on damaging it further in his effort to bring about the dream of Cloward and Piven. Like the oysters in Lewis Carroll’s poem, America is being led to the feast.

“A loaf of bread,” the Walrus said,
“Is what we chiefly need:
Pepper and vinegar besides
Are very good indeed–
Now if you’re ready, Oysters dear,
We can begin to feed.”

And we, my fellow peasants of the United Socialist States of Amerika, are the main course. That is once Obama achieves his goals.

If you believe that Obama is going to rescue this economy then be prepared for a shock. Because that promise my friend stinks of pigs aloft.

Before I close I’ll remind you of a very simple truth that I’ve written many many times before…

You cannot legislate universal health, but you can legislate universal sickness;
You cannot legislate universal prosperity; but you can legislate universal poverty;
You cannot legislate universal happiness; but you can legislate universal dispair.

And Obama is attempting to legislate all the above.

Populism’s Ability To Destroy What It Makes

Populism is an extremely volatile quasi-political ideology. It is forever changing with the tide of public opinion. It is both a blessing and a curse within this nation. Allow me to explain…

It is a blessing in that those who are elected largely on populist support tend to pay attention to the ebb and flow of public opinion and formulate policy based on those changes. In this way, the general public is the check on populist politicians. But then there is the curse for those who fail to live up to their populist campaigning. For instance…

In 2008, Barack Obama rode a tide of populism to victory in November to be come the 44th President of the United States. Popular public opinion was against the status quo which translated into an anti-Republican movement in spite of the fact that the 2008 Presidential election was being decided between two Progressive politicians. Let me make this perfectly clear. The 2008 Presidential election pitted 2 candidates who represent the same political ideology (admittedly at two distinct and differing degrees) against each other for popular vote. Because one of them claims Republican membership, he lost in spite of the fact that he gave more detailed information about how he would govern. The other, kept the details of his potential “rule” a closely guarded secret by showering the public with vague messages clouded in populist rhetoric.

Focus tested rhetoric was employed to swing voters in spite of the lack of details about the candidate. Words like “Change” and “Hope” were employed in an effort to rally the populist vote toward the more extreme Progressive. And it worked.

Without defining what would be “changed”, from what to what, Barack Hussein Obama hoodwinked the populist voters. Once in office, his radical Progressive nature came forward, shedding its Democrat facade, clearly defining him for what he truly is. A Socialist almost to the Fabian extreme.

I say that because he employed, as do all well groomed Progressives, Fabian methodology. It is the Fabian way to corrupt from within. To grow like a cancer from within the political organization most likely to elevate them to power. Barack Obama did so from within the Democrat Party. John McCain wasn’t as successful because most Conservative Republicans know him for what he is.

Now that he’s out from behind the proverbial curtain, we can all see for ourselves what kind of monster the populists of this nation elected. There he is folks, warts and all, in the open for all to see. A Socialist tearing the heart out of this wonderful nation.

Obama is from a mixed school of radicalism. He studied Marx, Alinsky, Cloward-Piven, and mentored under Frank Marshall Davis. He understands the violent radicalism of the Weather Underground, the Black Panthers, and the Nation of Islam. And now it is time to put that mixed radical knowledge into practice while he has enough power to achieve the long awaited goals of the Progressive movement.

He understands that he has a limited time to “fundamentally transform America” into the Utopia that only can grow out of the anchovy pizza induced night terror that George Orwell warned us of in his novels ‘Animal Farm’ and ‘1984′. He fully understands that he and his Congressional stooges need to slip through their “reforms” so fast that you do not have the opportunity to understand what is in them. This is to protect the process and accomplish as much as possible before you catch on. Problem – you caught on.

Populism is shifting and the wave that he rode to victory is now an undertow threatening to drown the neophyte President in a sea of his own broken promises. Populist America now sees the radical they’ve elected and even the previously compliant main stream media is beginning to turn on him.

Chris “Thrill Up My Leg” Matthews (MSNBC) is shifting as is Maureen Dowd (NYT) and others. His supporters and underlings are beginning to catch more difficult questioning out of news agencies that were previously sympathetic to his cause. Some think that he’s gone too far to the left while others believe that he hasn’t gone far enough.

The populist uprising against the radical attempt by this President and this Congress to “fundamentally transform America” occurred when the American people were thinking the President meant a transformation in politics but were met with a President and a Congress working toward a radical “transformation” of socio-economics. That’s not what The People voted for.

They couldn’t get Cap and Trade in the time frame they wanted so it was shelved. They couldn’t get Obamacare in the time frame that they wanted and the people asked questions. When the powers that be refused to answer those questions, Democrats lost Virginia, and New Jersey. When they continued to ignore the American people they lost Massachusetts.

The danger here is in the formation of both domestic and foreign policy based on populism. A President needs to form his/her policy before going to the American people and asking for their vote. If the people believe that his/her policy is in the best interest of the Republic, then he (or she) will attain the necessary votes to win. A voter will vote for someone going against the populist grain if they believe that he/she is doing so in the best interest of the nation.

Barack Obama’s problem is that he ran as a populist and is “ruling” as a radical Progressive. Had he ran as a radical Progressive, he would not have won. The people do not like being played for suckers and that is the feeling the people have about Barack Obama. Why else would Democrat voters vote for Republicans?

The Emperor Takes Michelle Out for Her Birthday…

… I wonder how much it cost the American taxpayers?

News reports abound about how thoughtful a husband the Emperor is. Shortly after taking office, he made good on a promise to take Michelle out for a dinner and a Broadway show. Now, he’s taken her out to a posh Washington D.C. area restaurant for her birthday. Aww, isn’t that just SO SWEET?!? But wait… Who is actually paying the bill?

Even if Obama sprung for the dinner tab, who paid for their transportation from the White House to the restaurant? Who paid for the extra security to sweep the building? In the case of the New York trip, who paid for the flight, transportation, dinner, show tickets, and security there? Every time Obama wants to be the thoughtful husband, the American taxpayer ends up paying the bill. As for the cost of the meal, the last that I checked the President of the United States doesn’t carry cash or credit cards so I’m sure the taxpayers picked up that tab too.

Why is Obama taking his wife out for dinner anyway? The White House has some of the best chefs available. There isn’t anything that they could have ordered at this trendy restaurant that could not have been prepared at the White House.

The AP article (via FoxNews.com) which inspired this rant informs us…

Known for its commitment to organically grown food — 95 percent of it is produced by organic growers — Restaurant Nora in Washington’s Dupont Circle hosted the first couple, the first lady’s mother, Marion Robinson, Attorney General Eric Holder, White House Adviser Valerie Jarrett and Jocelyn Frye, who is a domestic policy adviser to both the president and first lady.

So all the suspects were in one place huh… At an organic restaurant in the well known federal disaster area known as Dupont Circle. Remember during the campaign when Obama wanted to distance himself from the perception that he was an uber-liberal claiming that the right was trying to paint him as some sprout eating nut? Well there you go.

Restaurant Nora may not be a vegetarian sprout bar but it is catering to the latest libtarded* fad of being 95% organic. But I will give Restaurant Nora some kudos… They have found a way to capitalize on the moronic fad driven liberal craziness. Way to go Restaurant Nora. I hope you turn a profit.

How Safe Are We? Really?

Since the 2006 midterm elections, the leftist political hacks of the Democrat Party made it their goal to do whatever necessary to grab control of the nation from Republicans. This involved a massive campaign that actually began with the news media. It is no secret that the media has been in the pocket of the Democrats for decades. Objectivity went out the window when Walter Cronkite made his famous declaration that the war in Vietnam was lost in 1968.

The American public began to have their opinions about the Bush Administration altered by the news media in 2003 when the bodies of American soldiers who just captured the entire nation of Iraq began to come home. Once the war shifted from a military on military operation to an insurgency suppression mission, the bodies began to pile up and the American public’s stomach for war had turned. The news media began to beat a steady anti-war, anti-Bush drumbeat that culminated in Democrat victories in 2006 and 2008. Their only real battle cry to win popular support? We aren’t Bush.

Well they certainly aren’t Bush. Bush for all his faults did do something right. After we were attacked on September 11, 2001 he took the fight to the enemy. He picked the battlefield and our troops were the only Americans in harm’s way. Our honorable troops. The best trained and best equipped fighting force this planet has ever seen kept us safe at home by confronting the enemy on soil that he claims is his. And because of this, no successful attacks on US soil were able to be carried out.

Fast forward to 2008. Barack Hussein Obama ran on a platform of fancy rhetoric and platitudes that boiled down to one simple message. “I’m not Bush.” Due to the American public’s fatigue of the the Bush Administration largely due to the aforementioned drum beating of the liberal press that the Bush Administration didn’t seem to wish to counter, Barack Hussein Obama won the election and the Democrat Party gain a larger majority in both the House and Senate after having a 2-year majority where nothing got done.

The young new inexperience President decided that a naive apologetic approach was a way to subdue the world’s anti-American sentiment. He reach out with olive branch diplomacy* which only resulted in the President of Iran laughing at his gesture. Attacks against US interests abroad increased and the situation in Afghanistan worsened. Worst of all, 3 separate attacks have been either attempted or carried out on US soil in 2009 alone.

Say what you want about George W. Bush, but his policies did keep us safe for nearly 8 years. Those of us on the right have our own issues with Bush’s brand of social liberalism and fiscal irresponsibility but on terrorism, he knew what to do. The boy President (and aspiring Emperor of the World) hasn’t a clue. We see this when his Infestation makes statements that they later have to retract because he himself says, “we screwed up.”

Many are calling for heads to roll and to be honest, a few should. But not solely due to the failures of the past couple of weeks. Some of these characters are in positions that they are ill-equipped to handle. Including the President himself.

Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano is a complete and utter disaster as head of Homeland Security. Early in this Infestation she made declarations about the war on terrorism that a 5-year old child would call naive. The worst of which was re-naming terrorist attacks “man made disasters”. What?!? If anything is a “man made disaster” it is the Department of Homeland Security under this President and Janet Napolitano.

Another example of her incompetence is declaring that returning veterans and those who oppose the socialist agenda of this President to be domestic terrorists giving the illusion that if you oppose this socialist take over of our country you are worse than those who fly planes into skyscrapers. I’m sorry Janet, but that level of incompetence is what led to the death of an Army Recruiter in Little Rock, AR and the deaths of 13 people at Fr. Hood.

Should heads roll? Damn skippy! Let’s first start with Napolitano. How about Hillary Clinton? The State Department under her watch issued a visa to the panty bomber. How about Leon Penetta? The CIA under his watch failed to identify this guy. What about Michael Leiter who was skiing? If he must go so should Obama. After-all, Leiter didn’t do anything that the President wasn’t doing.

After the incident, Obama played 3 rounds of golf and didn’t say anything about it for 3 days. Talk about failure to perform the duties for which you were elected. Problem is, if Obama goes, we get stuck with that insanely ignorant Joe Biden. A man that couldn’t even win his own state’s primary. Do you think the people of Delaware know something about Big Mouth Joe?

So how safe are we? Under this President, we aren’t. We have in excess of 5,000 miles of largely unguarded boarder. The Infestation is more interested in monitoring Glenn Beck than Islamic Terrorists. Every time this Infestation makes explanations about what happened, they reveal more weaknesses in our system to our enemies.

Others that need to go…

Tim Geithner. How does a tax cheat get to become the head of the Fed in New York let alone Treasury Secretary?
Eric Holder. Anyone who would treat illegal enemy combatants as if they were defendants in a criminal proceeding is a fraud.

What about some in Congress?

Charlie Rangle. Again, how does a tax cheat end up writing tax law?
Christopher Dodd. Countrywide and connections with AIG not to mention an incident involving his best buddy Teddy Kennedy and a “waitress sandwich”? Should we wait for his retirement? He should be run out of the country on a rail.

I could go on but I’m approaching 1,000 words now. But I have 2 final questions before I go.

You should all ask yourselves…

Obama Bows To Yet ANOTHER Foreign Monarch

The Chief Executive of the United States is supposed to be on an even plane with other world leaders. And it matters not if those leaders actually have any political power or not such as in the case of the British Monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, or the Emperor of Japan.

Somehow Emperor Barry hasn’t received a protocol briefing because he has bowed to yet another foreign monarch.

Does this man actually think that the United States of America is inferior to the rest of the nations of the world or is his lack of protocol pathological? Personally I think its rather Freudian in that he doesn’t mean to publicly project American subduction to the world as he works to bring about our enslavement to a one world governmental body. The true answer however is probably much more simple – He’s a moron. Along with this very real truism, he’s also an embarrassment to this nation.

Barack Hussein Obama has done more in his first 9 1/2 months in office to demean the office of President of the United States than any previous Chief Executive. And that is saying a lot as he follows in the footsteps of Slick Willy and his moronic questioning of the word is.

Both men see the office of President as a position of status. A position of achievement with no real responsibility. Barry for example leaves the country every time bad news is announced. He doesn’t have the stomach to stay home and face the very well deserved criticism of the American people.

While Obama jet-sets around the world embarrassing the United States by bowing to foreign monarchs, people here at home continue to lose jobs by the thousands per day. He is comfortable with burying he head in the sand while his minions make the Sunday news show rounds blaming the Bush Administration for all of the country’s problems. News flash – that argument ran out as soon as the Porkulus package was passed.

Obama owns this recession. And in spite of the Infestation’s championing that we are on the road to recovery, we aren’t. It is deepening and it will continue to deepen as long as the US dollar continues to weaken. The US dollar will continue to weaken as more and more currency is added into circulation.

Only an idiot would advocate raising taxes during a recession and this President has done just that. And only a fool would pay down the national debt by printing more money. He’s done that too (it’s called monetizing the debt). Our money is only worth 70% of what it was worth in January of this year. I’d hate to see how much its worth in January of 2013 when this imbecile leaves office.

I don’t know why I continue to be shocked by the arrogant missteps made by this dolt. He’s made so many it is becoming difficult to keep track of them.

In the event that a picture doesn’t properly illustrate the reality that this idiot actually did bow to the Emperor of Japan, how about video…

To put this into context, at the conclusion of World War II General Douglas McArthur had an audience with Emperor Hirohito (the current Emperor’s father) and the Emperor bowed to the General. How far have we come that the President of the United States is now in a position of inferiority to the Emperor of Japan?

Let us not forget as well that it was Gen. McArthur that is responsible for the continuation of the Japanese Monarchy. Many in the United States wanted the Emperor deposed and executed for his nation’s attack on the United States in 1941. No formal declaration of war existed at the time of the attack and no hostile intent was ever communicated from the Empire of Japan to the United States. In a sense, the attack was a war crime.

Gen. McArthur rightly decided to allow the continuation of the Monarchy for the moral of the Japanese people. And now the US has a Chief Executive who has more respect for the Emperor of Japan (and the King of Saudi Arabia) than his own people. So much so that he bows to them in their presence while he screws all of us at home.

Government Health Care Fails Again – But In The US?

Those who back government run health care fail to see that we already have proof of its failure here in the US. First and foremost, government insurance. Medicare and Medicaid are is such serious financial trouble they are near bankruptcy. No one denies this and yet the President wants to move the rest of the country to a government rationed care plan similar to Medicaid and Medicare.

The second failure? The VA.

At least 1,200 veterans across the country have been mistakenly told by the Veterans Administration that they suffer from a fatal neurological disease.

One of the leaders of a Gulf War veterans group says panicked veterans from Alabama, Florida, Kansas, North Carolina, West Virginia and Wyoming have contacted the group about the error.

Denise Nichols, the vice president of the National Gulf War Resource Center, says the VA is blaming a coding error for the mistake.

Letters dated Aug. 12 were intended to notify veterans who have Lou Gehrig’s disease of disability benefits available to them.

If all Americans are subjected to the torture of being government dependent for health care, how many of us will be receiving letters in the future wrongly telling us we have an incurable neurological disease or worse? And once we receive these letters, will we then be locked out of expensive treatment because Dr. Ezekial Emanuel’s death panels have determined that our ability to be a productive member of society no longer exists[1]?

I’m sorry America, but I don’t have a lot of faith in a system in which one person’s coding error could possibly subject millions of others to medical abandonment. Especially if the government is paying their extremely low salary because a Czar in the White House determined that those who code medical records for billing are paid too much.

Government employment breeds apathy for the job. As evidence, I present to you the United States Postal Service. Do we truly want this kind of apathy to bleed into our health care decisions?

The White House Mob – The True Gangsters At Work In America

Obamacare (aka the Obama/Pelosi/Waxman/Reid Death Care boondoggle) opponents have been accused of being a mob by the White House. Insomuch as this is meant to be a smear to the genuine anger the people of this nation have been driven to by their congresscritters, it’s actually become a badge of pride worn by many a townhall protester and blogger alike. Hence the reason I have a graphic in the sidebar.

All of these truths aside, lets take a moment to recognize the true gangsters of politics.

Lets begin with Rham Emanuel. White House Chief of Staff and former Clinton Infestation official who in 1992 while celebrating Billy Bob Bubba’s election actually took a knife and began naming the names of their political enemies and shouted the word “dead” as he slammed the blade of the knife into a table. Ironically, many connected with the Clintonian Infestation actually did die. Coincidence? You decide.

This is the same Rham Emanuel who is widely understood to have sent a dead fish to a political opponent. A true Chicago-mob type Democrat Machine cog whose brash language combined with pitbull demeanor is the actual “brains” behind the Obama Infestation.

- That is if anyone could possibly accuse anyone in the Obama Infestation of actually having a brain. Personally I don’t think there are 10 functioning neurons in the whole damned White House. Perhaps Barry should have “Just Said No” to all that “blow” he “experimented” with. But I digress -

Emanuel has actually attempted to intimidate a state governor with threats of withholding federal stimulus funding from her state because of the opposition from one of the United States Senators elected from her state.

Earlier this week, the administration launched a coordinated effort to jam Senate Minority Whip Jon Kyl, an Arizona Republican who’s argued that the government should “cancel the rest of the stimulus spending.” No fewer than four Cabinet secretaries wrote to Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer — also a Republican — to ask her if she agreed with Kyl that it was time to turn off the state’s stimulus spigot.

“If you prefer to forfeit the money we are making available to your state, as Sen. Kyl suggests, please let me know,” wrote Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood. For good measure, he attached a three-page addendum listing each of the Arizona projects paid for by the $521 million the state is getting.

Sounds like a mob tactic to me.

They are using Union Thugs to attack innocent protesters at Townhalls. Members of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) clothed in purple t-shirts are being bussed to events, escorted into the townhalls via back and side doors in order to intimidate those present into NOT protesting.

Take the case of a townhall for Rep. Russ Carnahan (D MO-3) on August 6th for example…

Russ Carnahan’s (D-MO) Town Hall meeting on August 6, SEIU (Service Employees International Union) thugs, clad in purple shirts, punched in the face, brutally beat, and kicked in the head when he was down, an African American named Kenneth Gladney while hurling a torrent of racial slurs. The SEIU goons were following White House advice: “Don’t do a lot of talking,” and if they encounter resistance, “punch back twice as hard.”

So what could Gladney have been doing to draw the ire of the SEIU goons? Although the President was the promise of a post racism President, Mr Gladney is an African-American and he was passing out Gadsden flags. After-all it is a crime in the minds of liberals for an African-American to be a Conservative don’t you know?

Six people were arrested in connection with Mr. Gladney’s beating. Personally I am hoping that they are charged with hate crimes.

The President himself set the tone for the past week of protests and the response by those on the hard left including the SEIU. He said, ” I don’t want the folks who created the mess, I don’t want the folks who created this mess to do a lot of talking. I want them to just get out of the way so we can clean up the mess.” He went on to say, “I don’t mind cleaning up after them, but don’t do a lot of talking.” Doubt me, here’s the video (AGAIN)…

So when the SEIU thugs beat up on Mr. Gladney, they didn’t want him or anyone else to do a lot of talking. They want him to get out of the way so that Obamaramadingdong could clean up after the “folks who created the mess”. But someone should have informed the SEIU who created the mess. Because those folks happen to be Congress with their regulations and federal interference.

So in a sense the “folks who created the mess” have been the only folks talking to this point and the American people are sick of the campaign speech platitudes as they see their life’s work being squandered in Washington by these tone deaf congresscritters. And now it is their turn to be heard.

And let me remind you people of a truth that is being missed. There is no crisis. Depending on the poll you read this week, between 70 and 85% of Americans are happy with their current health care. There is no crises. So if nothing is done, nothing will happen. But if Congress and the President get their way with this, we are all doomed.

Reject Big Bro and his Orwellian future. Go to a Townhall and try not to shout. Ask in a respectful tone pointed questions to catch your congresscritter in a lie.

Take a copy of bill along with you and when you ask your question, refer to the section where the issue is located and cite it word for word to show them why they need to read the bill. We all know that anyone who bothers to read the bill can’t possibly be for this legislation. Use the bill itself against them.

No – the only mob that I see is the mob leading this boondoggle. The only goons that I see are in the pocket of the President. The only gangsters I see are the Chicago Machine that has been promoted to Washington.

One final fact before I leave.

Remember, Rham Emanuel has a big stake in this bill. His brother is the key individual who will be rationing care under Obamacare 1.0. Dr. Ezekial Emanuel has written extensively on how to lower costs through rationing. He, like many of Barry Obama’s “advisers” is a scary individual. Read what he has to say about controlling costs and the best distribution of medical care. If you do, you’ll join the protest.

The Rush on Death Care is an Alinsky Tactic

Since an estimated 80% of the population already has health care coverage, the rush to pass the Obama/Pelosi/Waxman/Reid Death Care package can only have one reason – overwhelm the system.

Saul Alinsky said in his ‘Rules for Radicals’ -

RULE 4: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.” If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules.

This is the same tactic employed by ACORN and its affiliated groups when they swamped the states with millions of fraudulent voter registration cards. It was impossible to weed out all the bad registrations so many of them passed through the system like shit through a goose. Hence the reason why a man in Cleveland was able to vote 9 times.

Obama, Pelosi, Waxman, and Reid all know this works. The chief advocate of pushing legislation through before it can be read is Rham Emanuel who has a special reason for wanting a rush on Death Care. His brother is set to become Obama’s czar.

Other Alinsky tactics at play here? Let’s take a look…

RULE 1: “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.” Power is derived from 2 main sources – money and people. “Have-Nots” must build power from flesh and blood.

The “Have-Nots” were the Democrats in 2006. They used whatever means available to them including deceit to get YOU to put THEM into power. Remember the “Culture of Corruption”? While you ponder that term let me mention former U.S. Representative from Louisiana William Jefferson. The A #1 example of political corruption is William Jefferson followed closely by Rod Blagojevich. Both DEMOCRATS.

Power is the only concern for liberals. They crave it like a crack addict craves a rock. And they will employ any tactic they can to achieve and hold on to, if not expand, their power. This Congress and this President are all about power consolidation. They want to centralize power in Washington to make as many of you dependent upon them as possible. After-all, they rush these bills through so fast only they know what’s in them. As I wrote a few days ago, even Obama doesn’t know what’s in his Death Care bill. This is done on purpose. The term is Plausible Deniability.

If passed, harmful aspects of a bill can be avoided by the President if he does not know they are in the bill. He can deny knowing it was there and escape the normally apathetic public’s scrutiny during his re-election campaign. Their policies are stupid, I never said they were. Ignorant to the facts of life maybe, but brilliant in fooling you into believing their tripe.

A few of Alinsky’s other greatest hits…

RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.

RULE 8: “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.” Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new.

RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.

We see this at play with Pelosi’s announcement the other day that Death Care opposition protesters are carrying swastikas to these townhalls as if it were the protesters themselves saying “We Are Nazi’s and You Must Fear Us.” What drivel. Pelosi is trying to scare moderates and rank-in-file Democrats into not participating in the opposition because she is now associating the opposition with Nazis.

The truth of the matter is the swastikas being displayed at these townhalls are in reference to the President’s and the Congress’s tactics. The completely fascist way in which they are driving home their agenda without debate. Their appeal to their supporters to turn-in anyone talking about Death Care negatively via the White House’s “snitch” program is straight out of Nazi Germany’s Gestapo playbook. To the point that I asked the question, “Who is their Himmler?”

As you think about your position during this “debate” keep one thing in mind. Roughly 80% of this nation is already insured. And it is roughly this same percentage of people who are satisfied with this level of coverage. Many of the remaining “uninsured” choose to be. Many others still aren’t even US citizens. Still others would qualify for medical care under current government funded programs. The number of actual uninsured that need to have coverage is somewhere in the neighborhood of 7 million. Can a way be found to cover these people? Yes. But does it have to include a $1 trillion price tag? No. Does it need to eliminate choices? No. Does it need to include end of life counseling that can be morphed into a forced eugenics program in the future? No. Does it need to include taxes on existing employer provided health care with exemptions for union employees as an incentive to join labor unions? Hell NO!

The answer is not in the Obama/Pelosi/Waxman/Reid Death Care bills. The answer is expanding market solutions to make health care more affordable for more people. There exists in this country barriers to expanded risk pools. Insurance companies cannot offer coverage under a particular group across state lines. This limits the risk pool and raises prices. This could be eliminated.

Currently, malpractice insurers will settle malpractice claims out of court in order to avoid limitless awards granted by judges. This is costing billions of dollars annually to the insurance industry and in turn raising the cost of health care. This process has led to the requirement of needless testing to confirm and re-confirm a diagnosis that a doctor has made. These tests are expensive and cost the insurance industry still more billions a year. Without meaningful tort reform that protects patients and doctors, costs will continue to be driven up. This all said however, the Obama/Pelosi/Waxman/Reid Death Care bills do not attempt to address this vital portion of the complex problem. Tort reform is key to controlling costs. Not Obama’s death summits every 5 years or federally funded abortions.

The left is insisting that the Republicans are not offering solutions. This is pure unadulterated bullshit. Republicans have been attempting to reform tort law for decades and the Democrats resist because they are in bed with the trial lawyers. Hell one of their most recent Presidential candidates and a former Democrat Nominee for Vice President was a trial lawyer. How can you possibly control the costs of health care if you continue to reward one of your pet special interest groups who is driving up costs? You can’t.

There is one other thing that you need to consider when deciding whether you support the Obama/Pelosi/Waxman/Reid Death Care bills, if 80% are covered and satisfied with their coverage, what is the rush? If no crisis exists why rush it through as if there is a crisis?

Don’t fall for their Alinsky ‘Rules for Radicals’ tactics again. You did once and elected them. See them for the charlatans they are and reject their scare tactics. Read the bill for yourself and insist your Congresscritter reads it BEFORE he/she votes on it.

Programming Note…

From this point forward, anytime this site refers to the current debate on “health care reform” it will be referred to as the Obama/Pelosi/Waxman/Reid Death Care bills. Why might you ask? Because there is nothing healthy about abortion, eugenics, care rationing, and waiting lists. Neither is removing the doctor and patient from decisions about care and placing the decision making in the hands of a unfeeling, disinterested bean counters in Washington. Death is the only possible result of these bills.
